File cannot be opened because there are problem with the files

My program reads the data from file uploaded into SharePoint 2010 and massage with the list information. It finally creates a new document and prompt the end user to save it. When user opens the saved document it consecutively prompts with the below two message
How to turn off this warning messages? When I re-save this document with different name and open it again (any number of times) then the above messages
stops prompting. I want these messages should not appear even in first time as well. I tried to add these document on trusted location and also removed the protection settings but it does not help. Is there any setting requires to suppress these warning messages?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This issue is related strictly to oMath tags and occurs when a graphical object or text box is anchored to the same paragraph that contains the equation.

I created a site and created a document libarary and assigned a word document as a content type . I have written a workflow to create a new document . The workflow is working fine and all the document is getting created and values are getting stored
in it .
As per my requirement I am saving the above site as site template .
After that I am creating a new site based on the above site template , Its getting created and I started the workflow , its working fine and the document is also getting created .
The problem is I am getting error while opening the word document
Error - The file filename.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents .
Details - No error details availble .
IndreshWhat are you doing within the txt document? Is it general text and string based items, or have you something more elaborate going on?

I have a list that when an item is changed a workflow kicks in and checks if certain fields are checked. Depending on which field word and excel documents are created in another document library.
Now this worked perfectly in my Sharepoint 2010 environment, but after moving the site to Sharepoint 2013 this particular workflow doesn't seem to work anymore.
I've tried to create the whole thing from scratch but still the same issue.
The issue is the same even if using the default content type, or trying to open the document using Explorer view. I've also tried recreating the function in a different site without 2013s visual upgrade without any luck. It's like something have changed
in the architecture.
So does anyone have an idea to why workflow created documents don't work anymore?I don't think the issue lies with SharePoint. Do you still have your 2010 environment around so that you can test and see if the issue appears? Seems to me that the Word global template has got corrupted. I have faced this issue in the past but that was
under entirely different circumstances. Anyhow, I renamed the normal.dotm file and it helped resolve my issue. I am not 100% sure if it will work for you as well, if you want you can give it a try.

Hi Everyone,
I cannot open Word File because "there are problems with the contents" unspecified error; Location: 2. Please help as I need this doc for work meeting this morning. Nothing special about this doc but links were copied into it??? However I do that all the time. I have never had this happen before. I am on a 2010 machine. I just ran a disk permissions repaired and emptied the trash but still no dice. I had several other word docs up as well when I got up this morning but they are all fine. I do not have Time Capsule turned on (which I need to do but that will be another thread/question).

sbOk, I found a way to open this but not sure what happened to begin with and the formatting setup is different now, almost like text editor? Not sure what happened here but hope it doesn't happen again?

File cannot be opened because there are no pages - Reader 9 & X
I have an old hydro bill in PDF format from 2000. I can open this PDF in Adobe Reader 8 and earlier with no issues whatsoever (i.e. double-clicking the PDF in Windows Explorer). The problem started with Adobe 9 & continues with Adobe X. When I double-click the file, Adobe opens but tells me the "File cannot be opened because there are no pages." More recent hydro bill PDFs can be opened with no issue.
Googled & searched the forums but haven't found any earlier reference to this particular error though there is a vague recollection that someone complained somewhere about this or something similar with Adobe 9 some months ago but there was no solution to be found then.
Using Windows Vista Ultimate here & have uninstalled Reader X & returned to Reader 8 pending a solution.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thing is... it's an old hydro bill... I'm just keeping it for posterity's sake (a bill from when I was paying for nuclear power!?!)

So, who should be sued? Adobe? My hydro company? ;-) Just kidding.
Anyway... some time gone by...
- re-installed Adobe X
- as per ghostscript.com, downloaded Ghostscript v9.01 & Gsview v4.9 (McAfee okayed them)
- installed Ghostscript & Gsview
- started Gsview
- dragged & dropped one of the offending hydro bill PDFs from Windows Explorer into Gsview
- from File menu picked Convert
- for Device pdfwrite, upped Resolution from the default 600 to 720
- via the Properties button in the Convert dialogue, adjusted CompatibiliyLevel to 1.2, clicked OK in Properties dialogue
- clicked OK again back in the Convert dialogue
- in the Output Filename dialogue, made the new file a "b" copy of the original filename
- clicked Save
The new file is a tenth the size of the old one & opens without incident in Adobe X. Ghostscript works well... thanks.
But... is this really the optimal solution for businesses & governments? It's not as if the old files were on vellum and here we are like old monks, transcribing for the king. Good grief where are we going? -

The best cover is the one that suites your needs. Try Google. There are dozens on the market.
As for the Apple Smart Cover, it does work with the new iPad. There are a few reported issues with it, but that doesn't come close to representing the totality of folks with it. -

Without proper system information and other details like what pictures you are trying to open from which storage locations nobody can tell you much.

Hi there, I cannot open bridge and I get this warning, "Adobe Bridge Cannot be Opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Bridge CC works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall any updates for this application and Mac OS X" although bridge has been running on my Mac for over a yera. I have installed all current updates for Mac and reinstalled Bridge again from CC and still get the same issue? Any advice?

I am attempting to open MPEG4 files on my Mac Book Pro and it is saying that the file cannot be opened because a codec is missing. I downloaded both QuickTime Player 7.6.6 and also QuickTime Player MPEG2 and neither one of them are helping with my problem.

How to Use Pacifist to Replace Deleted or Missing OS X Components
Insert the OS X Installer DVD into the optical drive. Use a simple utility like TinkerTool to toggle invisibility so you can see invisible items. Alternatively, open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and at the prompt enter the following:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes
Press RETURN.
To turn off the display of invisible files repeat the above command substituting No for Yes.
The install packages are located in the /System/Installation/ folder on the DVD.
Download the shareware utility Pacifist from VersionTracker or MacUpdate. Use it to extract a fresh copy of the missing item(s) from the file archives on your OS X installation DVD. The file archives are in the /System/Installations/ folder (use Go to Folder option in the Go menu of the Finder.)
Here are Four Basic ways to use Pacifist (courtesy of George Orville.)
A. Drag a .pkg icon onto the Pacifist window .....proceed to step 7.
B. Click on “Open Package ....” and navigate to package desired and click “Open” in the open/save window.....proceed to step 7.
C. Insert Mac OS X installer CD and when it mounts, navigate to .... Menu->Go->Go to Folder.
In the path field enter or paste ....
/Volumes/disc name/System/Installation/Packages (where disc name is the name of the CD/DVD that you inserted.
• Click on the "Go" button .....
• Drag a .pkg to Pacifist..... proceed to step 7.
The package you'll need will have to be discovered by trial and error, but for most applications you should start with the Essentials.pkg and/or Additional Essentials.pkg.
D. Insert your Mac OS X install disk 1 .... and open Pacifist.
1. In Pacifist, select "Open Mac OS X Install Packages" ... dialog may appear asking for disk 2, then disk 3 and finally disk 1 again.... {if DVD is not used)...If “Stop Loading” is selected...the procedure will stop!!!
2a. When loading is complete, a new window appears, click the triangle to display contents of each package...Select item and proceed to step 7.
2b. or click the “Find” icon in the Pacifist window and type the name of the software you need.
3. In the list that comes back, click the top most entry for the item that you want. ..... that is the one for the English language.
4. On the top of the Pacifist window, click “verify” .... you will probably be prompted for your password.
5. Enter checks for.... “verify permissions” and “verify file contents.” and click “verify” ....enter password when prompted.... you will get back output which may look like this:
20 files were scanned.
20 of 20 files were present on the hard disk.
0 of 20 files had file permissions that did not match those specified in the package.
0 of 20 files had checksums that did not match those specified in the package.
6. Click “close”. Go to step 7.
Extract or Install........
7. In the Toolbar (upper left), you now have the option to extract or install. Click a file in the lower list and those two icons will be enabled.
8. If “Extract to...” is selected.... navigate to the location where the file will be placed, select “choose”, select “extract” in new dialog that appears,authenicate , if prompted, click “OK”.
9. In the next dialog, click “Extract”.
10. If “Install” is selected... dialog will appear with the location/path of the installed software. Click “Install”
11. Type in your password, click “OK”
• Pacifist will begin to extract files.
12. In steps 8/10ß.... you also have the choice to “cancel”
Notes.....
• Pacifist may find that a file it is installing already exists on the hard disk. Pacifist will present you with an alert panel....

Update ..... Default selection
Replace .... Replace option should only be used on full install packages -
Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available.
I have iCloud calendars and a google calendar, but iTunes says I have no calendars. Endless loop. How do I break out of this?
I tried this but when I go back to check Sync Calenders I get this message:
"No calendars available. Calendar syncing cannot be enabled because there are no calendars available. Do you want to open Calendar and create a calendar now?"
When I open calenders it show I have two calender On My Mac.
The same applies to Sync Contacts.
I have tired Restore iPod but that did not make any difference. This problem occurs across all logins on my Mac.
I've Reistalled OS X but that did not help either.

Getting error message as shown: "The file 'Acknowledgements.rtf' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet file 'iTunes.cab'. Is there something wrong with the latest installer? (11.3.1)
Installs fine for me, so I'd guess you got an incomplete or corrupt download. See the Further Information area of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for direct links and download a fresh copy of the installer.
