File to Proxy scenario message failed in ECC with staus SYSFAIL
Hi All,
We are working on File to proxy scenario, PI able to send message successfully to ECC, but In ECC , message got stuck in queues with the status 'SYSFAIL',
when I read the error message it is showing Address Invalid.
when I run the LUW, it is giving 'Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION 'raised message.
I'm using PI 7.1 EHP1 , ECC 6.0, can anyone suggest the trouble shooting guidelines for this issue?
Thanks,
Venu.
when I run the LUW, it is giving 'Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION 'raised message.
in your code, there seems to be an invalid statement.
check the proxy code.

Hi All,
I hav a file to proxy scenario. The XML file is sent as a proxy from XI to ECC. but ECC is receving it as a blank file.
SXMB_MONI in XI is success but in ECC it has failed. Please help us understand where the problem is occuring.
Regards,
Sudeep RHi,
Please check your sxmb_moni in ECC & XI, in both message, check the message data is same.
If you are receiving data on PI from file successfully, the problem can be in Mapping in PI, check that in PI. In this case data will not be sent to ECC System.
If you are receiving data on ECC from PI, now check the problem in Proxy code.
Check the steps for inbound proxy in the below blog :

1) Use SPROXY transaction.
Menu-> Proxy -> Activate All.
2) check in the interface determination if u are using correct
inbound interface.
3) If this if fine....try deleting all proxy objects of the interface
and create new.

File to Proxy Scenario : Error in communication channel monitoring
Hi,
I have developed File to Proxy Scenario on PI 7.1 system and it is not working. I see the below error in communication channel monitoring.
u201CError: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.ConfigException: Some of the IS access information is not available. SLDAccess property may be set to true, but SLD is not available.u201D
File will be picked from the FTP server.
I have created File system in SLD of type "Third Party", Can this be the issue?
Please guide me on this.
Thanks,

Dear one,
I need a solution for my problem facing this moment.
Here is the File to proxy scenario explained.
I created three new fields in XI IR to map three more fields from File to CRM .On this line,I created three fields in IR and passed the updated file(containing three new filelds) and interfaced. Before that I had regenarated and activated CRM level proxy too.
The file was red by XI and moved to CRM also.
Now my problem is that I can see the three new fields in SXMB_MONI when I got into detail of that . But when I debug the CRM proxy the value for these three fields are not displaying over there .
These three values are displayed in XML message but not in proxy ,why it is so?.
Please help me out to resolve the issue.
Swasthi,
KarthikHi Manjusha,
Here is the reply:
Is the issue with the fields , or the values in the fields ?
Ans:Issue is with the values ,not with the fields .
Is it that your proxy structure doesn't have the fields ?
Ans:Proxy structure have the fields but not value.
Can you check sxmb_moni in the CRM system if these fields with value appears.
Ans:I checked in the CRM system

<ECOMM_VAT_AMT>13</ECOMM_VAT_AMT>
<ECOMM_CURR_CODE>GBP</ECOMM_CURR_CODE>
</TOTL_INFO>
</DT_INVOICE>
</MT_Invoice>
Both field and values are coming perfectly in XML message..
You can see that above in last three fields (Field- ECOMM_VAT_BASIS_AMT , Value-12 and etc.).
Only values are not coming in proxy structure(table) ....fields are coming with no values
Pls let us know yr views. -

Any suggestions on what I can ask my IT department to change on the server so I can connect would be greatly appreciated.Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
From the error and other description it seems that there is some misconfiguration with setup. You need to provide the FQDN name of the server as might server name is not resolving its name properly and so facing issue. As seems from below details:
[2014-Nov-26 15:52:20] RDP (0): Final rdp configuration used:gatewayhostname:s:gato.gibbscam.com
screen mode id:i:0
use multimon:i:1
session bpp:i:24
full address:s:dev-JeremyS2.gibbs.local
Configuration used and full address name both appears different so please verify configuration accordingly.
Please check the DNS record, check certificate whether it match FQDN name of the server with certificate name, also try to check to connect with IP address and see what result you can find.
You can follow below guide to configure RD Gateway and after that verify the result.
1. Deploying Remote Desktop Gateway RDS 2012
2. How To Work with RD Gateway in Windows Server 2012
Hope it helps!
Thanks.

Messages fail in PI with error "Message ID already exists in database"
Hi Guru's,
The scenario is from FILE->PI->MDM .
Few messages fail in PI with the error Message ID 415a6324-dd3d-11e3-94e0-00000613e84e already exists in database .
I have already seen the SAP NOTE : 1361305 , My doubt is if this error is any way related to MDM side issue or anything else.
Please help me out .
Attached the full trace in PI :
MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.lib.ra.cci.XIAdapterException: System error: Message ID 415a6324-dd3d-11e3-94e0-00000613e84e already exists in database: com.sap.sql.exception.OpenSQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (SAPSR3DB.I_XI_ID_MAP_ID1) violated OpenSQLExceptionCategories: [NON_TRANSIENT, INTEGRITY_CONSTRAINT_VIOLATION]Hi Gowtham,
Can you check once whether message gets failed after it is automatically restarted.
Check traces for each defined pipeline.
I think, at first message got failed due to some reason (i forgot the reason for my case) and when it automatically restart it fails saying message id already exist. Check the root cause why it failed for the first time.
Also check with basis team on tablespace issue.

File To Proxy : Handle the response from ECC to send mail without BPM
Hi,
Scenario: FILE To Proxy
Requirement: We are receiving xml acknowledgement file from bank with IDoc number and status in SAP PI and the file is used to send the status number, message and and IDoc number to ECC. After request is received in ECC BAPI is executed to update the original status of outbound IDOC.
There would be multiple records in file and PI will send all IDoc acknowledgement to ECC to update the IDoc status.
Issue: Since PI send all records to ecc, if any single IDoc status update is failing in ECC how would it can be communicated to support.
ECC can send success or error response in proxy but how we can use the same in PI to send mail to support. Or is there any better error handling we can go for in such scenario.
Thanks,
VertikaHi everyone
thanks for response.
Interface 1: IDoc (ECC) to File (Bank) --> Done
Interface 2: Acknowledgment File (Bank) to BAPI (ECC) where BAPI will update the status of IDoc sent in first interface.
For Interface 2 : PI will receive file from Bank with multiple records i.e multiple IDoc numbers and their status. PI will invoke proxy to send the IDoc number and status number (eg 16) for all the records together. Now if BAPI fails to update status of any single IDoc in that file how support team will know that the particular record is failed. To handle this error ECC is saying they can send Error and Success back to PI. But the problem is how we can use that response in PI in the same interface to send emails to support team. Bank does not want any response back in this case. This is just to ensure proper error handling since this is bank related interface.
Splitting the interface in two interfaces will definitely help. But is there some way which can be used in same interface and based on error response from ECC mail is triggered.
If any one has better suggestion for such kind of error handling, please post the same.
Thanks,

EOIO is not working for file- BPM- Proxy scenario.
Hi All,
I have one File to BPM (Merge pattern ) to Proxy scenario.
I have two file communication channel at the sender side and defined QOS as EOIO for both. In SXMB_MONI it assings same queue for all messages.
BPM is merging that messages. However during that it assings different queue for merged messages.
When it comes to proxy , again different queues are assingned to the messages.
Is there any way I can define QOS in BPM or at the proxy side ( I know it should be at the sender side only , but it's not working..)
Thanks & Regards,
Dijesh Tanna.HI,
Within the current release the BPM will always only use EO (SAP Note 833740).
May be the SAP note 905049 will help you on this ...
Thanks

File to Proxy Scenario using ABAP Class and DB Multi Connect
Hello Friends,
I have a scenario below and a proposed solution. I would like some input as to whether i am headed the right way.
Scenario: Thousands of records come in from the legacy accounting system. The fields of these records need to be mapped to SAP fields using cross-reference tables stored in DB2. Finally, summarize the records by deleting a few fields and feed to R/3.
Solution i proposed:
(1) File Adapter is used to send the file
(2) Although JDBC adapter comes first to mind but since i need to access the DB2 tables multiple times for each record i propose to use an ABAP class for the mapping. Within the ABAP class the intent is to open an database connection to DB2, read the relevant cross tables using native SQL and finally generate the output XML.
(3) Reciever is Proxy which feeds this generated XML to SAP for creating posting via BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST
Question: Is the above solution correct or is there a better method to implement this scenario?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Minhaj.Looks fine. Few observations -
1. Whether it is ABAP class or Mapping in RFC lookup, you are making multiple trips to the database.
2. It looks like PI is being used only for reading the file and converting it to XML.
3. If using PI is not mandatory, then a complete ABAP class on ECC it self would be faster than swtching between PI Java, PI ABAP then round trips to DB2 finally data push to ECC.
If you could look at something like fetching all the required RFC look up data in one go and then map the fields according, might save u on processor and network resources.

XML file to Proxy Scenario with BPM - ID Steps
Hi Guys,
Any one can help me to find about the scenario XML file to ABAP Proxy with BPM, ID steps please. Any link or logical routing, receiver determination and interface determination idea. Please correct me,
I have created Business Service as sender to send one xml file to BPM, BPM is sending a message to SNC system. I have created 2 receiver determinations, but I am confusing in interface determination, where to declare OM?
Please can any one respond bit quicker.
Thanks in advance

SanES Repository
*Service Interfaces*
Create one outbound service interface for XML file.
Create one Inbound synchronous Interface for SNC system.
Create one Abstract Asynchronous interface ,same message type as you used for outbound service interface .This is for Integration process receive step.
Create one Abstract async interface for receiving the response from SNC system in Integration process.
Create one Abstract synchronous interface to be used in the Integration process for Send sync step.
Create on inbound asyn service interface for sending the response from integration process (received from SNC system) to the Receiver System.
Operation Mapping.
Create an Operation Mapping using Abstract sync interface and inbound syn interfaces.
Integration Process
start--->receive Step---->send Synchronous step----->send step.
Create two container elements
first with abstrat async interface for the XML request.
second for abstract asyn interface with the XML response structure (asyn receiver system structure)
In the send sync step select your abstract syn interface from the F4 help.and select the corresponding request and response message from the container element you defined earlier.
Integration Directory.
Create one sender File adapter Communication channel for XML file reading.
Create two receiver communication channel for sync system(receiver XI adapte for ABAP PROXY) and other for asyn receiver system .
Create 3 receiver determination
1.from sender to Integration process.
2.from Integration process to SNC system.
3. from Integration process to Asyn Receiver System.
Create 3 Interface determination.
Specify Operation mapping while you are creating interface determination from Integration Process to Syn BS.
Create one sender agreement
Create two Receiver agreement.

Combine 2 files as input for file to proxy scenario
Hello,
Is it possible to combine to files into 1 message ?
We've got 2 csv files (1 header and 1 item) and we would like to have this in 1 xi message, processed later by a proxy.
Any idea's how to do this ?
regardsHi,
>>Never worked with BPM before, are you aware of an example somewhere that I can have a look at on the internet ?
need to search sdn.. if i find one i will paste it here
Update
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BPX/BPMPatternMultiIfconditionExplained%28stepbyStep+Procedure%29
/people/milan.thaker/blog/2008/07/23/correlation-150-runtime-behavior-of-bpm
>>what when there are several files currently waiting ? let's say 2 header files and 2 item files ? does the system know which one he has to combine ?
Say you have a file with header details for company A,B,C and another one for D,E,F... And you have two separate files for their Line items... so each Header (or line item) file will generate a instance of BPM and it will be complete for the other file to come and complete the fork step..
and here co-relation of the common field plays a role

File to Proxy scenarios, varying Transport Protocol
I need to define a "normal" scenario which will pick up files from an external FTP location, and process them with a server proxy.
But there's the additional need to pick files from an arbitrary local file server in which some users could drop manually files they received by mail, which should be processed in the same way.
This forced me to define two communication channels, two sender agreements, etc, and dupplicate in general all the directory objects. The CCs vary in the protocol and directories properties, but the content conversion parameters are also dupplicated (Recordset, fieldNames, fieldSeparator and such).
I will have this same situation with at least 4 interfaces which leads to a lot of objects proliferation.
Is there any way to avoid this massive dupplication?
Many thanks!Hi Alejandro -
your suggestion didn't apply because in this case we are talking about the same adapter but different protocol which requires two separate CCs
>>>No need to have two separate CC's when you go with execute OS commands option.
Only one channel which will pick the files from local file system. But before processing these you execute the OS commands to download the files from FTP server.
But of course, as you are comfortable with the the other suggestion, you can create the channels and sender agreements..
