Ellipses animations on the Desktop Adobe Content Viewer are coming out as squares. Preview looks fine on the device.

Are Cloud files compatible with CS files?

That depends on the specific files and the specific programs... some files are backwards compatible, some are not
You need to ask in the forum for the programs you are using

  • Is there any way to create a file compatible with Premiere Pro

Is there any way to create a file in Premiere elements that is compatible with Premiere Pro and that can be used in Premiere Pro

    Consternation
The important information that I do not see mentioned nor offered by you.
1.What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system it is running? What version of Premiere Pro do you want to use?
The Premiere Pro Import Supported Formats seem to indicate that it will accept the Premiere Elements project.prel (project file) on Windows Only.
Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Supported file formats
This may or may not be possible depending on damaged projects or outdated elements.
    2. If you want to export your Premiere Elements Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive and subsequently import that into your Premiere Pro version, that "should" work. You would go to the Premiere Elements Publish+Share/Computer/ and make a selection based on what the Premiere Pro Import Supported file formats are and what you need. I can help you with that. But, details first.
But, just a "beware"...when you get to Premiere Elements 11 or 12 (if that is the version involved) Publish+Share/Computer/ there are several categories, but all you see is Adobe Flash Video, MPEG, and AVCHD. The rest of the list that includes AVI and QuickTime which both need to be scrolled to all of the time to see them, not just sometimes, with the thin scroll bar to the right of the list of choices. You can export files
with AVI file extension, under Publish+Share/Computer/AVI
with MOV file extension, under Publish + Share/Computer/QuickTime
And, if you do not have QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements, you are not going to have presets for the QuickTime export.
Remember, there is more to an export than just its file extension. Know your other export properties as well.
In many cases, you can customize the export settings to suit your requirements.
Problems will exist if you are trying to go from Premiere Elements Windows to Premiere Pro Mac or vice versa.
I would be glad for the opportunity to help you with this issue, but details are needed.
Looking forward to your follow up.
    Thanks.

  • Canon 450D CR2 Files compatible with Photoshop Elements 7?

I have recently bought a Canon 450D camera and have noticed that the RAW CR2 images produced are not compatible with my Photoshop CS2 version. I'm not sure about upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop since I probably wouldn't use all the features but I would probably upgrade to Elements 7. Is Elements 7 completely compatible with my Canon CR2 files and has anyone else used this combination and been impressed with the results?
    Thanks.

The 450D came out after CS2 was obsolete so you need at least CS3 to read 450D RAW files.
Elements 7, being the current version, would support the 450D RAW files; however, I use CS4 and LR2 with my RAW files so cannot say how good PSE is or isn't.
The other option is to convert the RAW files to DNG with the latest free DNG Converter and then use CS2 with the DNGs.
If you have a dual or quad-core system with at least 2GB of memory, I'd suggest using Lightroom.

  • Will Quicktime Pro convert files compatible with Mac and Windows?

I'm trying to decide if I should upgrate to Pro 7.
I created a screen capture tutorial in Snaps Pro X which outputs a .mov file. Now I need to convert it to a cross platform version. Is that MPEG? I see that QT Pro 7 exports to MPEG-4. Is that compatible with at least XP?
Also can I do screen capture videos right in QT Pro 7?
    Thanks,
    Steven

QuickTime Pro can't capture your screen.
Your SnapZ Pro .mov file should be compatible (depending the your choice of codecs) with any machine that has QuickTime installed.

  • Are CS3 files compatible with CS and CS2 apps?

I am upgrading from CS to CS3 Mac. Are files created in CS3 compatible with CS Photoshop, DW 8, Flash 8, Illustrator and ID?
And, will uninstalling CS app files effect the CS3 install? This assumes I save certain components I want to keep from each of the older apps.
I have already installed CS3.3 successfully.

    > Are files created in CS3 compatible with CS Photoshop
Depends on the features you use. Choose maximize compatibility when saving.
    > DW 8
For the most part, they should be.
    > Flash 8
Couldn't tell you Check the Flash forum
    > Illustrator
Depends on features. Use save as when saving files and choose CS
    compatibility.

    No.

  • Photoshop CS6 - files compatible with all CS versions?

I create designs with Photoshop CS6. Oftentimes they include clipping masks, layers, groups ... . Will my client be able to modify the design with every CS version? Are my designs (made with CS6) 100% compatible with very old CS versions, too?  Or should he/she own a newer version of Photoshop CS?
    Thank you much!

Yes, you have to worry about compatibility. Groups within groups within groups have changed considerably over the years. Before CS3, you could even only have one group level at the root level of the document, no nested groups. That has been expanded ever since. Likewise, per-group masks, clipping paths and layer styles have only been introduced in CS5/ CS6. There's a couple of other things as well like CS6 having changed the order of certain layer styles, but you get the idea. I'm sure if you read some articles or the online help's "What's New" sections for each version, you wil lget the full picture. As long as you avoid these specialty cases and keep your document simple and save it with teh "Maximize Compatibility" option, most files should open in one way or another even in older versions, but there's simply no way to guarantee that each and every bit will be fully editable otehr than in the same version it was originally created.

  • Files compatible with mac?

What files are compatible with a mac book pro?  GIF,JPEG.BMP,DOC,PDF.  Does the mac have compatibility mode for files like windows does?

    spacefracture wrote:
Compatablity mode meanig will the file open on older systems such as windows xp which i need to do for school.
    (1) There is no such thing on Windows. The only 'compatibility mode' is, as I as said above, a facility which allows older programmes to run under newer versions of Windows. Again, as I said, it applies to executables, which does not include any of the formats you mentioned in your OP.
    (2) A blind guess: You may be referring not to Windows, but MS Office (which, unlike Windows, is not an operating system, but a suite of applications). A compatibility mode was introduced in Office 2007. When working in this mode, features which are incompatible with the formats used by earlier versions of MS Office are disabled. (Note that this is relevant only to one of the formats you mentioned in your OP, ie .doc.) While neither Excel 2008 nor Excel 2011 have compatibility modes, Word 2008 and Word 2011 have such a mode. It is activated by opening or saving a document in an older format (.doc). See,
    <http://mac.microsoft.com/help/office/14/en-us/word/item/92b2e261-43af-4756-9962- 1beb180fb570>
Both Excel and Word have a compatibility check function (Compatibility Report), whose name is self-explanatory. See, for instance,
    <http://mac.microsoft.com/help/office/14/en-us/excel/item/71638f37-030d-43f0-884f -99c90e2cc974>
Note that none of these have anything to do with formats such as JPEG; it applies only to MS Office formats.

  • RH 7 files compatible with RH Server 8?

    Hello,
My company is looking to purchase RH Server 8 to replace our outdated RoboEngine 3 (or 4).  The help files were designed by a contractor originally and she came back last year to help us update them.  She did so using RH7.  Now I am trying get RH Server to host the files with from our webserver and the enterprise says they will approve the purchase if we can go with RH Server 8.  Are the files she created with RH7 going to be compatible with RH Server 8?
    TIA,
    Brad

    Hi there
Hopefully my esteemed colleague John won't mind my making a small observation here.
I see that Brad is advising he only has access to the OUTPUT files.
While it's certainly possible to re-purpose them as project files, they won't provide everything you need. If you are going to end up purchasing the RoboHelp authoring component, you really need to have the SOURCE files the contractor used to create the output.
These are much different than the output files and will actually include files that never see the light of day in output, but are necessary for the project.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Are files compatible with other nokia mobiles ?

    Hi !
My nokia mobile has just been broken and cannot be switched on. I recorded my friend's phone numbers in a Nokia PC Suite file. I'd like to transfer those data to my new nokia phone (I haven't bought it yet, but it won't be the same because mine is not available anymore (6131, too old allegedly)). Can files related to my nokia 6131 can be transferred to another nokia phone compatible with PC suite (or Ovi suite) ? cause I read somewhere that  my PC suite contact file version is related to my 6131, and it could happen that my new phone won't recognize the file I saved.
    Thank you for your answers

Bear in mind that the data is always accessible using applications such as NbuExplorer from here:

  • Are Compressor files compatible with DVD Studio Pro?

I am buying Final Cut Pro X and Compressor, but I am working on a school project that needs to be finished in DVD Studio Pro. Would the compressed files be compatible with DVD Studio Pro even though FCP7 and FCPX are not compatible?

Yes.  Compressor 4 (or any version) will create the DVD-compliant files that are used in DVDSP.

  • Are microsoft movie maker files compatible with final cut pro files?

I would like to know if microsoft movie maker files are compatible with Final Cut Pro?
    Thanks,
    elemir

depends on how you're outputting. .wmv I don't think so.That's pretty much a dead end format.  mp4 might be, but i'm not sure if movie maker outputs them. .avi might be, depends on the codec used.
Avoid .wmv, apple products don't play well with that format (never have) and aim for some other output type. Then on your mac, if you don't already have it, if you don't already have it, get the free converter mpegstreamclip and see if it can convert your movie maker output into something final cut will input. DV files are good, as are .mov files.

  • Are .dng files compatible with iPhoto?

I recently purchased a Panasonic Lumix dmg G2 camera. I have iPhoto '09 on my iMac, running OS 10.6.8. I was unable to load the RAW images from this camera to iPhoto, so I converted them to .dng files. I even downloaded the latest version of the dng Converter, but I am still unable to download them to iPhoto. I get the following error message:
    "Unreadable Files: 1
The following file could not be imported. (The file is in an unrecognized format.)"
I am pretty sure I was able to download .dng files in the past. Has something changed, or are .dng files just not compatible with iPhoto?
    JB

Not all dng-files are alike. I have used dng with iPhoto before, without problems. I could not find any documentation for dng in iPhoto, but for Aperture it is documented that dng works for  "DNG files generated by the Adobe DNG Converter with the 'Convert to Linear Image' option turned off". Probably the same will hold for iPhoto.
In Snowleopard the following cameras are supported:
Mac OS X v10.6: Supported digital camera RAW formats
