Filling large areas with sky
I created a panoramic view of a bridge, but the merging of the five photos produced a blank section of sky. Did the same at the bottom of the picture too, but I just cropped that out. Is there good way to fill such a large area and produce a result that is realistic and believable? I've attached a screen clip to this post. This isn't an important picture, but I'm experimenting with the panorama feature in Photoshop Elements 6.
BTW, any special features in PS7 that make it worth the upgrade?
Sorry to hear it didn't work out exactly like you were wanting.
If you're fond of the rest of the sky that's in your image, you may just have to take a bit of time learning to use the Clone Stamp. (It took me about 3 hours to learn it initially, and each time I start a new project I usually have to spend a good 15 or 20 minutes testing Clone Stamp out with the new project before I can really get work done.)
Alternatively, if it's a really large area that's missing sky in your image, you could just copy and paste a different section of your sky to fill in that area. You might then wish to clean up the borders around that with one of the Healing Brushes and/or the Clone Stamp.
For the copy/paste, you'd be making a selection (maybe with the Lasso tool, or another selection tool) of the part of the sky you want to copy, go to Edit > Copy, then go to Edit > Paste, and use the Move tool to move the bit that just got pasted to the part that's missing sky.
You might want to check out "Making selections" and "Moving and copying selections" in the Help.
You may also consider just replacing your sky entirely. Check out something like these (or, again, do a web search):

Right now I have 2 WRT54G version 5 flashed with the DD-WRT firmware and the first one is connected to the internet modem by wire and I setup the second one to receive the internet and send the Internet signal to the first area and is working pretty well, but I'm trying to buy new WRT54G routers version 8 and I don't know if I'm going to have to flash this routers too or if the Linksys firmware can do the job. If it's possible, where can I find instructions to set it up?

Filter to fill in area with NOT ALIGNED dots?

Hi, I'm a graphic designer, illustrator user since '89, and I need a filter that would work as the 8-ball frame does with balls, but in 2D version with circles/dots.
t would be like the stochastic screen, but with different dot sizes, and they should touch each other, not just guessed. I think one of the blindness test is made that way. Some has some spacing between the dots though, but it could be fixed as far as the spacing is fixed.
Something I don't need is definitely the halftone filter, or any other in which the dots overlap or are randomly spaced. The random value should be size, not spacing. Spacing should be cero, none, (from edges) and location (spacing from center) should depend on container's shape and surrounding circles/dots.
It could be Illustrator, Photoshop, or any other software that exports as such.Can't follow your description. See if this thread is what you're talking about:

Dynamically fill area with words from list
hello all,
i would like to fill the entire area of a flash movie with
words.
the movie starts out blank, but as time goes on the visible
area fills with words from a pre-written list.
ideally, the height and width of the words is randomized
within a range i determine.
i wouldn't mind being pointed to a tutorial that shows how to
fill an area with randomly-sized rectangles, that might help.
eventually, i want to be able to control the speed of the
area being filled with an input device (mouse or external sensor)
but first things first!

"water spots" in large areas of a single color
When a large area of sky is in a photograph, I see what appear to be waterspots in the area, but the glass is clean. Is this a sensor problem? It happened with my previous Canon DSLR as well. I use the 100-400L lens on a 60D. Thanks.

In principle, it could be lens flare spots, but those are pretty distinctive and not very repeatable, since they depend on the angle of the incident light. They could be actual water spots if the sensor was ever exposed to rain. A few years ago there was a particular Nikon DSLR that had a problem with oil spots; the mirror mechanism was over-lubricated and threw oil droplets onto the sensor. But I've never heard of that happening on a Canon. If a professional sensor cleaning doesn't cure the problem, it would probably be wise to send it to a Canon shop. They're not cheap (unless you're a CPS member), but they do a good job.

If they don't, you can select the paths that make up the
different areas
and try using Modify > Alter Path > Join or Modify

Union. You will probably need to remove some anchor points if
you choose
one of these options.
Are you aware of the Vector path tool which let's you draw a
path
freehand? That might be a better option than the Pen tool.

my computer has some serious problems, my iphoto only shows only shows thumb size pics when I try to open them, i tried to rebuild my files from folders that had the pics in them. originally all the photos had a large delta with a question mark. also I can't back up the library file because its not there. I went to time machune and tried to find the file but I can't find it or I am looking in the wrong place. I also lost my Idvd file, only have broken chain showing.

This makes no sense at all - all of your previous statements indicate that you do have an iPhoto library but have some problems with it
By default your iPHoto library is located in your Pictures folder and is named iPhtoo library - if tha tis not the case the you have moved or renamed it and only you know what you did until you tell us the details

How to use a scaled object(MC) to fill the background with the new properties
So lets say i have a stage 300 to 200 and all object that i have are for this dimensions.Also have an pattern function that fills the background.
But the user is thinking of resizing the stage to lets say 1024 to 480 (he switched from a phone to a tablet).And now the scale of the objects in the tablet screen are more than 3times before(when seen on the Phone)
How do i save the current new size object and use it in the creation of the new background (the 1024x480).

I have an error message "page_bottom_overlay-2.png" which comes up when I try to publish. There is a large X with a Question mark in the middle over the entire background of the page. The error message says the file is missing. I did not delete files. How can I find files that seem to be missing?
This is probably one of the files that is required by the template you are using.
These files are inside the iWeb app. Control click the iWeb app icon and select "Show package contents".
You need to dig down through the folders and files to find what you want...
Contents/Resources/da.lproj/Templates/
If the file is missing you would need to re install the iWeb app...

Im having trouble handling large messages with a MQ JMS sender adapter.
The messages are around 35-40MB.
Are there any settings I can ajust to make the communication channel work?
Error message is:
A channel error occurred. The detailed error (if any) : JMS error:MQJMS2002: failed to get message from MQ queue, Linked error:MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2010, Error Code:MQJMS2002
The communication channel works fine with small messages!
Im on SAP PI 7.11, MQ Driver is version 6.

handle it? No screen is large enough to show 10,000 records..... is

the next 50 etc...?Right. It's not recommended that you load 10,000 rows into
the datagrid at once. Using the data management service with paging
enabled is a much better solution. See the Configuring the Data
Management Service chapter in the Flex2 Developer's Guide for more

All OK with Sky go until I downloaded IOS 5 now all I get is a message: Media Streaming Temporary streaming error. Please try another channel. When trying another channel it is the same and message repeats itself?
Not sure if you are still looking. I have after about 3 months and ongoing discussions with Sky I have a fix for this! And since I never found it on this forum I 'll give this gem back. All you have to do is create a new user ID (you can have up to 10) in addition to your lead profile.Just register it as if you were creating a completely new account and sign in with this instead. You'll need your account number but this is on your original profiles homepage on my sky (if you're using sky go away from home like me) or just on your sky card in your box. Make sure you go through the whole process of verifying your email address and sign in with it on sky go on your laptop before you attempt with your console (took me a while to realise this) and it should work all fine!At least it did for me! Also just to clarify you will still have to use your old login for any bills, account management etc as the first one you create goes down as your lead profile.

The suggestion given would be applicable to your Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7.
As an aside, have you updated 12 to 12.1 yet? If not, please do so using an opened project's Help Menu/Update. The major perk of the update
is that it corrects an Expert workspace Text/Style issue. There are other less defined advantages included.
