iPhone 6 screen freezes and can't find wifi after iOS 8.0.2 update. Have to do a hard reboot. I am Extremely disappointed and lost ALL trust in Apples Quality Assurance. From now on I'll wait a week before I update.

It sounds like your phone touchscreen is not consistently working for you after updating to iOS 8. I can see how that would be pretty frustrating. It sounds to me like this could be a software issue or an issue with the screen itself. I would start with the troubleshooting in the following article to help troubleshoot the screen itself:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Troubleshooting touchscreen response
Restart your device
Hold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
If you can't restart your device, reset it by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for a least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.
If you have a protective case, or if you are using a plastic sheet or film on the display, try removing them and testing the device without it.
If that does not resolve the issue, I would next quit all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

I just got a wireless keyboard for my iPad 4 and can't get the onscreen keyboard to stop showing as I type with the keyboard.

I have a just bought a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad 4 and it works fine. It connects with bluetooth and when I type the characters appear fine but the on screen keyboard will not go away. How do I get it to disappear while I am using my bluetooth keyboard.

Yes that was my next step but I removed the Swift key app I had installed with slightly different functionality than the Apple default screen keyboard. I figured I really didn't need that functionality since the Bluetooth keyboard offered far more flexibility. Sure enough the well designed default Apple keyboard seems to know it is not needed when an external keyboard is in use. Apple software just works better as always.

Is there any way to keep the charge indicator bar onscreen in the lock screen in IOS7? And can I keep the call in progress screen up instead of going to wallpaper while a call is dialing?

IOS6 had a charge indicator bar on the lock screen that allowed me to see at a gance how much charge I had. Now it only flashes onscreen when I first connect the charger for about 1-2 seconds. I know the icon in the top right shows percentage, but it is too small to get an accurate look.
Also, when a call is in the progress of dialing my phone just shows the wall paper instead of the whole call control screen. I can hit the home button then hit the return to call bar at the top of the screen to get the control screen, but that is annoying to say the least. If I accidentally dial a number while navigating my contacts or one of the apps it takes several steps to cancell the call before completion.
I know my wallpaper may be pretty, but I don't need to see it while trying to use the phone instead of having control of the phone or seeing desired information (charge indicator).

I have a similar issue. Sound works okay but keep getting the app not optimized, you may experience a decrease in celluar strength. Verizon says it is a software issue. Apple says it is a hardware. Phone will niot synch to itunes to do any kind of reset.

While talking to someone, I could lock the screen in iSO6 and continue the call, How could I do the same in iSO7?

In iSO 6 while talking to some one I could lock the screen in the middle of the call and I could continue the call, this helps me in may ways
1. I dont press the key board accidentally so that key presses wont be sent to IVR if Iam talking to a customer care or bank ect..
2. once I lock the screen while talking to the other person, accidentally I could avoid pressing End button, as it is touch screen and an accidental skin touch ends the call?
3. How could I reject the call if I dont want to receive the call using touch screen in iSO7 if possible?

If you just got it back and it isn't fixed or something else is wrong with it take it back and have them do the repair correctly.

Place the iPod in a sealed container with a desiccant for a week. Uncooked rice works. Change the desiccant every day or so for a week.
Do not charge or turn on the iPod until dry. Then try:

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Sorry to hear that you cannot make any FaceTime calls. If you have not done so already, take a look at the article below to go over some general troubleshooting to get it back up and working again. Check the settings on your iPad for things like Date & Time is set correctly to making sure your connection to the internet is good.

- My tx is so slow, and heats up very fast... so i think that the advance is not working properly
- the web cam is not working, since the 3th time iused... when i try to use it with my msn... got freezed, then y try ending the process and doesnt work, y have to restart it but it stay just on logging off... and do nothing more... so i have to switch off directly from the power button

i was thinking that it was a software problem... but i restore my lap and it doesnt work cuz it still being with the same problems... so lately im thinking that its a hardware problem... i call to technical support from mexico... but they can do nothing for me cuz i bought my lap at circuitcity from el paso... and that store close a few months ago... so i need help before de warrantie expires...

How do I can't get Face Time to work on my iMac.

I have OS X 10.9.4 on my iMac computer. Face Time quit working. Tried to buy the 99 cent app, but was told my computer has a newer version installed. Was told I would have to uninstall what I have and then download the 99 cent app, if I want to change. Looking for answers as to what to do.

When I try to use Face Time, I sign in and click next. I am told about choices to reach me by phone and e-mail. I chose phone and e-mail and click next. This takes me back to sign in. I try clicking on the number I want to call from my contact list and nothing happens. My favorites no longer appear on my screen. Do you have any suggestions? Face Time stopped working after 10.9.5 update

Have been on with Tech support in a chat, but was unable to resolve the issue.
Now I can not get back on in a chat, the option is no longer on the screen. I am not in a location where phone calls are possible so chat is the only way to get assistance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My challenge is that when 10.9.5 was installed, it stopped Face time from working. I can no longer log in. Get a continuous loop from log in to verify back to log in.

I have had this same problem for weeks now with my 4S. I just got a new 5S after being extremely frustrated and the same thing - no sounds. After searching posts all over, I couldn't find a solution. I just told my friend of the issue and he asked "Do you have the Do Not Distrub on?" I didn't even know such a function existed. Upon looking that was exactly the issue.
To resolve, go to Settings> Do Not Disturb> Manual. If it is green, turn it off. You will now get phone calls and text alerts.
This functionality is also on your quick access utility menu (slide up menu). I assume this is how it was enabled on my phone.
I will post on other sites since I searched for weeks for this solution and didn't see it anywhere. Good luck!
