Firefox 3.6.9. will not let me add any new bookmarks, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I would like to be able to bookmark new pages, please help.

Regardless of whether I try bookmarking using ⌘D or the star on the right of the address bar or using the drop down Bookmarks tab, Firefox will not bookmark the page. It doesn't matter what page I am trying to bookmark, I can't bookmark any of them. And when I tried importing my bookmarks from Google Chrome, it imported the folder names but not the contents.

Firefox 3.6.13 will not let me add any extentions. Can you help me fix it?

I installed Firefox 4 beta and alot of my add ons were not compatible so I went back to Firefox 3.6.13. But my add ons were not there either. Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button (in Firefox 4: right-click the extension -> "Find Updates") to do a compatibility check.

I created a new i tunes account and I am trying to add music to my I pod touch but since I had an old account it will not let me add any new songs or let me transfer my existing songs to the new account. I also purchased one song and it did not download

I just opened a new I tunes account. The music that I purchased from an old account will not transfer to my new account & the old account email no longer exists it is (djbdeercreek613@com***t.net) and the password would not be accepted when we entered it. I also purchased one song "Country Must Be Country Wide" By Brentley Gilbert and it did not download to my i-pod. please let me know how I can get this problem taken care of.

A window asked me to close firefox.exe so it could do something (AVG I think). Now, I can't open Firefox at all even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

When I took my laptop, which is running in XP, to get rid of a

How do I get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar which won't go away even after uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox?

Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I don't know why the blue bar is there on Firefox, as I did the update while on I.E.

IMovie will NOT let me add any video! Help!

I just need to edit an avi, and iMovie will NOT allow me to add any video footage any way I attempt to.
It says drag media here-- won't let me.
I use import movie from file-- it says it's doing it, but it doesn't.
What is going on with this program??
The ONLY footage I've been able to add is when it pops up my laptop's camera and I capture that way. I've got the file on my computer already.

iMovie '08 will only allow you to to import files containing compression formats that can be edited. If you AVI file won't import, it likely means that the audio and/or video data is not editable. To import it, you will have to first convert it to any of the acceptable compression formats. For video this means DV, AIC, M-JPEG, Photo-JPEG, MPEG-4, or H.264. For audio this may include DV, AIFF, AAC, Unsigned Integer, Uncompressed, etc. This means that files with adaptive PCM (ADPCM) -- a very common AVI audio compression format for digital cameras -- will not import.

Files imported directly from a video camcorder is automatically converted to "edit" compatible compression formats using non-QT routines built into the iMovie '08 application. Files already on your hard drive are brought in (imported) via the Finder and as such, bypass the special camcorder routines since the application assumes you will only import files that are edit compatible "natively" -- i.e., are in the compression format in which you actually want to do your editing. (For example, a person who wants to edit in DV would likely be upset if the application switched to M-JPEG or MPEG-4 editing behind the user's back for some reason.)

My photoshop will not open files or create new files, please help?

Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 will not work,
When machine is first started the program works, for about 10 mins, then
I can not open files, create new ones. When it does work it can not perform functions like transform etc.
I tried disabling third party plug ins
I tried creating a new account on my machine
Nothing seems to work.
Can any one shed some light on the problem?

The main reason for this is because there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.

It's not a good idea to install an ActiveX control in Firefox because you expose your machine to exploits which target that Microsoft technology. If you need to use Internet Explorer, then do that rather installing the IE Tab.
You may find your other add-ons start working properly after you update Firefox, so do that first.

Firefox will not open, says "already running". At task manager I cancelled process, and still no result. I then uninstalled all firefox files, and reinstalled. I still get same error message. I cannot open any firefox page. I have skype.

After installing LV 7, MAX 3, NIDAQ 7, can not target to LV 6.1 RT even after uninstalling and loading older version.

We have started using LV 7 for all of our new projects but still have to support a number of older projects made in LV 6.1. After installing LV 7, MAX 3 and NIDAQ 7, we can not do remote DAQ configuration on the older version of RT and can not target to the RT system either. We used NIs uninstall for MAX and NIDAQ and then reinstalled the older versions, but we still can not remote DAQ configuration. Computers that have the older versions of MAX and NIDAQ and have never had the newer versions installed have no problem with remote DAQ configuration or targeting.
How can we go back to the previous version of MAX and NIDAQ and get it to work? What is left
after uninstalling the newer versions?

I would recommend creating a Service Request on-line and contacting an Application Engineer. There are several possible reasons that software might not be completely removed, and we have some utilities that will make sure this does not happen. There also might be some issues with downloading the code to the "target". We could quickly reformat the controller and make sure to get the older software on the system.

Itunes store will not open on my laptop how do i fully uninstall and reinstall?

I have never been able to get itunes to work on this laptop. I use to use itunes on my desktop and it worked fine however I stopped using the desktop many years ago and havent been able to use itones since. Any suggestions on how to get itunes to work on my laptop?

ITunes 7.1 will not let me play any tracks...

iTunes 7.1 will not let me play any tracks, it opens up fine and I can do pretty much anything else with it but when I double click or press play on a track an error message comes up and iTunes has to close. This has only been happening since I uploaded the new 7.1 version of iTunes, can anyone help me with this problem please?
I have sent an error report to microsoft but that doesn't seem to help me.

Can you play your tracks with Quicktime?
