FIREFOX 3.6 PROBLEM WITH STAY ON TOP BUT 3.5 WORKS FINE
WHEN I USE FIREFOX 3.6 OR ANY VERSION OF THE 3.6 AND I SELECT STAY ON TOP (I HAVE A THIRD PARTY PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS THIS) AFTER I MINIMIZE THE WINDOW THEN IT WILL LOOSE THE STAY ON TOP COMMAND. ALTHOUGH WITH FIREFOX 3.5 VERSIONS IT KEEPS IT'S STAY ON TOP EVEN AFTER BEING MINIMIZED. iN FACT ALL OTHER MICROSOFT PROGRAMS DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY THIS IS

That said, I don't have a problem with that web page on Firefox 2.0.0.20, 3.0.19, 3.5.16, 3.6.13, or the 4.0b9 nightly - it looks the same as in IE8 on 32-bit WinXP SP3, with an AMD 64-bit processor.
The problem shown in your screenshot is with your own Firefox installation. It's like all the "styling" is turned off.

why cant itunes download songs from the itunestore,the download fails and thr error msg says check your connectivity,however the internet is connected and working fine.I did reinstall itunes
I have the same issue...I called Adobe and they said that Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7 ...so I tried installing the suite again without Acrobat and still the same issue....does anyone know if this issue is resolved by getting the new CS5 suite??? That is my only option it seems like...no one knows what's going on with the internet issue....even Adobe

Problems with music tracks on Video Ipod that worked fine on ipod mini
Just got a video ipod on Christmas. Have owned an ipod mini for two years.
Transferred music and playlists from Itunes Library into the new video ipod.
I'm finding that some of the audio tracks that played fine on the ipod mini are
experiencing problems on the Video ipod. The commonality among the problem tracks are that they were custom tracks I made through Final Cut Pro and exported out as AIFF's. I then used the "Convert to AAC" function in ITunes to change them to AAC before putting them on the ipod mini. Again, these all played fine on the ipod mini. These problem tracks also tend to be long....50 minutes or more...they're comedy albums transferred into Final Cut Pro from off-air VCR/DVR tapings and are one long track.
These same files, while AAC, have problems starting up on the video ipod,
freeze the display and menu controls for a few seconds, or won't play at all. Other normal tracks from CD's or the Itunes store are fine.
Any correction ideas would be appreciated.

I can not uninstall the software either, I already tried that. When I click on the "add or remove" software, it automaticly thinks I'm trying to install it and says I cant install??
Thanks again kglad. I have walked through several of these and no results. When I launch InDesign in gives me the "Licensing has stopped working" But that is the only program. The rest tell me I may need to uninstall and reinstall the programs. They wont even try to start up. I believe the problem started when I tried to use the CC Cleaner tool. I believe it deleted something. It now gives me an error message:

Firefox crashed. Closed all my windows - did the auto update thingy with accompanying message. Brought up the windows that had closed as usual - all said "problem loading page". Firefox will now not connect to internet. It's not a problem with my connection etc - internet explorer is working fine. Anyone else have this problem today?
So, it's been 13 hours now and no answers. From reading the Airport Discussion board "

is a very common problem and I find it hard to believe Apple has not responded with a fix. I may have to take it into a Genius Bar and see what they can do but I do not have high hopes.

My IPad cannot download live Tv from skygo. I have no problem with my lap top so I assume the broad band is okay. Can anybody suggest why the live streaming will not work on my iPad .
Are you using the Sky Go app to try and watch it ? If so are you logged in with your Sky account ?
If you are using the app then you could try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Sky Go 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Sky Go app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Do you have an installed email program such as Microsoft Outlook? If your email is through an online login, such as Gmail, etc, then one will have to create an email association with a program such as Microsoft Outlook on the PC for this Scan to Email system to function.

Since updating Firefox I have problems with playing Zynga games
since updating Firefox I have problems with the Zynga games I am playing. The functions often stop working so I have to reboot the game. Also there are often a lot of items missing on my screen so I can't play at all
I have this problem, as well, since the upgrade to 4.0.1. After the upgrade, I found several 'Recovered Files' in my Trash. On taking a look, they all had to do with the Crowdstar app. Happy Aquarium, I believe, but there are several folders of them. Some of them could have to do with Zynga's FarmVille.
However, after repeated problems, I installed Chrome 10. to see if the Facebook apps. would work. They did, without problems. That tells me the folders in Trash shouldn't have anything to do with whether they operate or not but it has something to do with something Firefox has done, or not done, with this upgrade. Frankly, I'm baffled and more than a little annoyed. :/
However, thinking back to the upgrade, it happened suddenly while I was on the phone with AppleCare on another matter. It was they who suggested I needed to upgrade my browser and I did it immediately, on-the-spot. It wasn't what you would call a 'clean install' because I was on the phone but also online with AppleCare. The process went so fast, I remember there were things about the installation that didn't quite seem right and I do remember that the earlier version of Firefox was not removed prior to the upgrade. Is there any chance something could be out-of whack because of this? If so, I need to know how to save my passwords, bookmarks, profile, and any other critical info that would need to be transferred. -

Hi, i noticed that firefox has a problem with OS X. i'm trying to backup my bookmarks (not as HTML) & it does'nt do nothing!. comparing to windows 7 - i can backup my bookmarks & right click on a bookmark from the bookmark menu & i can open/delete etc' a page. why i can't do that in OS X?? when i'm doing right click on a bookmark its taking me to the page insteade of opening the quick menu.. help please!
It is possible that anti-virus (security) software is corrupting downloaded files or is otherwise interfering with downloading files.<br />
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I have an iPhone 4S and never had a problem with syncing it. But suddenly, when I connected my phone to my mac, it says that its in recovery mode, and I need to restore it in order to sync. I've updated both my phone and my itunes, and it didnt work.Help?

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

iWork apps no longer sync with iCloud. I am on iOS 5.1,1, and this problem is several days old, before it was working fine. Anyone has an idea?
Sadly this is not a new problem and I would not expect a forthcoming solution. I bought an iPad 3G and the iWork suite at the end of August and iCloud syncing worked fine. About the time Apple rolled out iOS 6 the syncing stopped working for me (without me upgrading or changing anything). It has never really worked since. Run iOS 5.1.1 on both the iPhone 4 and iPad 3G. The "geniuses" claim that Apples iOS 5 requirement is not correct and that I MUST upgrade both to ios 6 (although I know for fact that lots of folks STILL have the iCloud probs even with its 6. The last genius basically shrugged and non-verbally acknowledged the iCloud/iWork failing and suggested "just use Dropbox.". So why the **** did we pay for iWork!?!?!
Basically the iwork/iCloud Connnection is broken and I have yet to get a viable solution to repair the issue. Sorry for the bad news. For reference I have uninstalled/installed each iteration of iWork upgrades on each device without success. I have reset all settings multiple times, turned iCloud off/on repeatedly etc etc without success. I even wiped the iPad and restored from iCloud w/o intention (another Apple IPad "glitch" when I tried the "reset all settings" and the iPad decided to "erase all" instead. The genius said "it happens.")
Oddly, the Pages app is the only one that has marginally worked at times since the first probs. However it is basically broken and non-functioning. Certainly DO NOT trust vital documents to iCloud/iWork. I lost a number of work critical docs in this whole annoying, messy process of trying to get what Apple promised as easy.... -
When I enter my password to start my atv it tells me, that "there was a problem connecting to the network." My Ipad works fine in my house, but not my new atv. I have reset my password multiple times with no help. I have also rebooted my wireless server. Do I take it back?
