Firefox crashes when the apostrophe and tilde keys are pressed

Pressing either the apostrophe key or the tilde key is crashing Firefox. It's also happening in other internet browsers and programs (like Skype and Google Talk). I've tried a new keyboard and using different USB ports for it. The first time I tried a new USB port it temporarily fixed the problem, but after restarting my computer for updates the issue returned.
Firefox, the plugins, add-ons and drivers are all up to date from what I can tell.

do the crashes occur too when you run firefox in [[Safe Mode]]? (close all firefox windows & press the shift key while launching firefox again)
probably not related - there's a new version of the flash plugin available. you can install it from [http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/] (disable the checkbox for bundled software)

HT2101 Anyone else get the "iPod too hot" message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool?

My iPod Touch 4 repeatedly gets the iPod too hot message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool. Shuts itself off. Ugh!
Is this a warranty issue or is there a fix?

What model iPad do you have? If it's an iPad 1, the battery may have expired and needs replacement.

Why does firefox crash when the internet connection is lost?

We have been having trouble with our internet connection recently and firefox crashes whenever the connection is lost, but this didn't used to happen, so I was wondering why this was happening.

If there is any intermittent issues or connection is lost you will revert to the menu, regardless. The 'apps' are fed via server and there is nothing stored on the unit, it simply caches when you are online.
As for the initial wait time. That could be due to ISP throttling, interference, using another DNS

Firefox crashes when I try and download a pdf. eMac 10.4 1.25 GHz PPC G4

when on a site and one can download a pdf, firefox crashes.

This happens often and never works. It did work on 10.39 but not on 10.4

How do I digitally sign with reader XI when the fill and sign functions are grayed out?

I am using Adobe Reader XI. I am suppose to digitally sign a fillable .pdf document for online submission. However, the fill and sign functions are grayed out.
What are my options to put a signature in the signature box of the document?

Here is an image capture of the properties.
The document is part of a job application that is suppose to be digitally signed and submitted soon. I have thought about printing, signing, and redigitizing to submit, however, the cells are statically sized and do not expand to include all of the information when printed.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The Pound and Hash keys are transposed on my (UK) iMac since upgrading to Mac OS X Lion.

After upgrading my (UK) iMac to 10.7 I find that the £ and # keys are transposed i.e. shift-3 gives # and alt-3 gives £ which, I assume, is the standard US layout. I also upgraded my MacBook but this transposition didn't occur. What's going on here?!

Firefox crashes when loading Gmail, and random other pages, and freezes often.

Firefox upgraded itself to 3.6.10 sometime last Friday, I believe, and every since I cannot get into gmail, and it freezes often. When I try to log into gmail it will crash immediately. Sometimes if I click "sign in" rather than hitting "enter" it will load, but will lock up or crash within minutes or seconds. It also will lock up if I have more than three or four tabs open, often when loading a video, and crashed while loading Nexis, which I use often for work to do research.
I have disabled add-ons, disabled extensions, run in safe mode, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, downgraded, re-upgraded. Nothing has worked.

Problem does not seem to occur on a modern Win XP nebook with 1 gig RAM, but does on a relatively old laptop running Win 2000 with 98.5 MB ram.
Error message states that a script is running from a Firefox directory and asks to stop it. Crash occurs anyway!

But with my function the program doesn't know if the pressed key is printable or if it's shift, ctrl
or something like thatProbably the easiest way is to check and see if e.getKeyChar() < a space character or if e.getKeyCode() >= 127. You can use e.getModifiers() to get the modifier, etc... -- take a look at the documentation for java.awt.event.KeyEvent class.

Send email notification when the baseline and actual values are different in project

I am working with MS Project 2013 and Project Server 2013.
I need to the send email notification to the program manager (or to a user) whenever the project manager changes the task finish date for a task. Comparison should happen with the baseline finish and the difference needs to be updated to the Program Manager
over mail.
How to configure/customize email notification for changes in MPP.
Please suggest.

If you are not having developer skills it will be complicated for you.
You need to create event handler by code, as in the below link:

When I type on my macbook air I get the symbols I would get if I were holding down the option and shift keys.

I've looked at sticky keys and other stuff like this they don't seem to be the problem. I guess it is possible that both the option and shift keys are stuck at the same time, but they don't seem to be stuck at all.
I tried a restart and that didn't help and I hit the shift key 5 times....

Firefox crashes when Flash Player is enabled..

I am facing this prob for the last few days...It says firefox encountered a prob and needs to close down....After a lot of findings I came to know that it was due to Adobe Flash Player ...when this plug-in is enabled and i visit video sites firefox crashes, but if I disable this plug-in firefox doesnt crash.....Please Help... AVG is not the problem - it is the Adobe plugin that triggers the crash.
Evidence :
Flash works perfectly in Internet Explorer.
Firefox works when Flash not present or disabled.
Firefox crashes when Flash enabled and any site requiring the plug-in to be used is accessed.
Firefox fails to give any warning message or explanation.
Disabling any other plu-ins makes no difference.
AVG has been uninstalled and an alternative anti-virus put into use.
Problem started earlier in June when version 10.1r53 (10.1.53.64) of Adobe flash plug-in appeared. The problem did NOT exist until early June.
Uninstalling flash and reinstalling does not cure the problem.
Affects Firefox 3.6.3 and 3.6.4
