Firefox Menu and some other forms show blank

When I open the Firefox side menu (the new one with the three horizontal lines) initially it shows fine, but then if I try to click anything in it or open it again, it only opens blank space and I cannot see anything. Same goes for any pop-up forms (allow add-on installations, remember passwords etc) - blank white frame where the form should be. The forms themselves are still clickable, if you can guess where the buttons are - for example, I can guess where Allow button on an addon install form is and blindly click it and it will work.
This is not an addon issue - same thing happens in Safe Mode! Also, this is only on one particular desktop and only with Firefox (has been this way for a while, so, this is not the new version). Also, hardware acceleration is disabled. Also, the regular top menu works fine.
I wish I could add screenshots to help you understand the issue...

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

For some reason, since this morning, any bookmarked or previously visited website works, and some others But new links or even pasted or typed in addresses don't. Must.figure.this.out! I don't have extra firewalls/security other than the standard mac ones and have restarted the computer and also rebooted all devices. Operation is safe mode has same results. Cleared cache and cookies.
Any ideas?

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

Adobe Interactive Form Shows Blank (WD JAVA ZCI)

Hi Expert,
I have the following problem.
I developed an Adobe interactive Form embebed in WD java app with success in DEV environment, but i have an issue in QA environment.
When i run the Adobe Form logged in portal, the application runs fine, but, when i do unlogged, WD app run fine but Adobe Form shows blank

In the Visual Admin of the server that runs the ADS check under server->services->destinations click on http folder. There should be something under that called FP_ICF_DATA_<sid of backend>. If there is not then create one in there.

It could be browser incompatibility or something else. When you say you can't log in, what happens? Is the bank website generating an error saying you're not using a supported browser? Does the login form for your bank account display as usual, but once you submit the form to log in it doesn't work? Give me a specific step-by-step of what you're doing, such as...
1. I load bankofamerica.com
2. I type in my login
3. When I submit, the page does nothing
Obviously that may not be your issue, but giving us details like that will help us come to a quicker conclusion.

Cyrillic font in google and some other sites like Wikipedia are looking different in Win XP and Win 7

Yesterday I installed 4 beta on my desktop after succesfull using it on laptop. But when i opened google (and some other sites) i found that fonts are looking different with the same settings. Here screens:

Whenever I try to access websites such as google, hotmail and some other ones. Why does this happen?

My antivirus program removed all virus that I had so my computer is now virus free. So if this issue is not caused by virus, then what is it? Suddenly i cannot load videos from you tube and some other locations, although I can load then using CHROME

The problem is that all of a sudden, I cannot load and see videos from youtube and some other sites.
When I ask to see something from youtube for example, the appropriate page opens, and in the place that the video was supposed to be loaded, I see a black screen and nothing happens.
I scanned the computer and found nothing.
I uninstalled firefox and installed it again.
The problem stays.
I browsed using CHROME and I have no problem. i can see everything perfectly.
This happened suddenly today.

That depends. If the file you are interested in is available in multiple resolutions, then downloading the highest available resolution would provide the best starting point for iMovie editing. If compressed content is already in an iMovie compatible compression format, then it might be possible to copy the content to an iMovie compatible file container (if not already in one) and thus avoid transcoding the data before import to iMovie. However, you still have the potential for some visual quality loss after editing when you export the finished project from iMovie.

I note from another site there are seven bugs needed fixing asap. I have most of them after upgrading.
Worst at the moment is the crap scrolling in Chrome and some other apps.

After updating my Apple TV I keep getting a message box asking if you want to hide Netflix. How do I make this message go away? I understand about going into the menu and select Hide or Show icon.

After doing the recent Apple TV update I keep getting a message asking if I want to hide the last application I was using on Apple TV. I understand how to go into the menu and select Hide or Show. I selected Show and the next time I use Apple TV I get this annoying message. Any ideas how to make this message go away?
