Firefox was bringing up unwanted adds and downloads please help

It would not let me use the internet - it get going to pages wanting me to download things - I felt unsafe, tried deleting my firefox and downloading it again but it still kept doing the same thing. Have deleted it now but do what to download it again - have used it for 3 years and before today had no problem

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Usually, when you uninstall Firefox using the uninstaller, it will leave behind all of the user settings. If the user settings have been modified by a third party program or extension, you will first need to remove the settings. 
To do so, please follow these steps:

If you were able to load websites until you updated Firefox, your Internet security software (including firewalls, antivirus programs, anti-spyware programs, and more) is likely preventing Firefox from connecting to the Internet, see [http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configure-firewalls-so-firefox-can-access-internet firewalls]

What happens? When i click on the ''AdobePatchInstaller'' i get this message, ''Update Failed, Updates could not be applied. This patch is not applicable for you. Please check for updates from the Help menu in your product to see a list of latest updates available. If the problem persists, contact customer support for further assistance.
Any error messages? No
Did you have previous versions of the software on your system? No
Is the trouble with the download or the installation of the software? I am not sure but i think it may be the download. It shows that the download was complete and icon appears on the desktop. I plan to buy the ''Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium'' but i wanted to try it first via the free trials, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. So please let me know what i need to do.

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

Is it possible that you or someone who knows your iCloud sign on went into the Find My iPhone app and erased your device via iCloud? Because that is what that message is saying.
Have you tried to sign on with your Apple ID and password?
Was it online prior to this incident happening?

yes, 10.3.1, iTunes already restarted, menu settings already like that and still it will play all unchecked songs (including the checked songs of course). Why even have check and unchecked if the program is going to play all of them anyway?!

All buttons in Firefox have dissappeared after a PC optimization software- please help!

I am using Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop.
I used AVG's PC clean-up as a trial (no longer have access to it).
During the process, I chose to turn off blinking and revolving content on Firefox (thinking I was turning off those annoying ads).
Now, all of my 'buttons' are just blank boxes. I use gmail: the star option on the inbox has disappeared. The 'send', 'spam', 'trash', etc above the email- those are just blank boxes (they still do work though- I just have to move over them to get the explanation to see what they are). This is not the case with the 'star' however.
I have been all over settings, and have tried the JAVA advanced.
I think this must be something set outside of Firefox. Internet Explorer runs fully functional.
Please help. I really do not want to have to re-install Firefox as I don't want to lose all of my saved passwords and bookmarks.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Best buy pc app error (digital download) please help

Okay so the other day i purchased F.E.A.R 2: project origins for digital download. every time i get on the pc app i get an error saying there was an unexpected error with the application. if the problem persists please exit and try again.
i have exited reinstalled the app turn on and off uac on my compter to try to get it to work and even running it as an admin.

Dual Core intel processor @ 2.8ghz a core (rated at 3.36 per core)
3gb ddr2 RAM
Nvidia Geforce 210 1gb ddr2 pci express 2.0 x16

Are getting some kind of error when you attempt to download PC App? If so, what error are you getting? It would help to know exactly what happens and when.
Also, make sure your laptop meets the PC App minimum system requirements:
Windows 7, Windows Vista with service pack 1, or Windows XP
1.0GHz processor or faster
512 MB RAM (1GB recommended)
50MB available hard drive space for installation; additional drive space required to download applications
1024 x 600 display (1200 x 800 recommended) with 16-bit video card
Broadband Internet connection required for online services.

Had the same problem and the same message -- was suddenly unable to access icloud apps on my pc, also using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. After several days of pulling my hair out, decided to try a different browser and was able to get in by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Hope this helps.

i think i might have a solution... i have windows vista and after i installed to latest itunes update everytime i tried to open it it would freeze. I tried everything, including uninstalling itunes and all of its components and reinstalled it numerous times. So i went to the itunes folder in my folders, not on itunes, and i deleted my itunes library and playlists. After that it worked just fine, all of my music was deleted but luckily i had my files saved elsewhere.

Here is an article that I would recommend taking a look at for this issue.
Get help with Touch ID
Make sure that you're using the latest version of iOS.
Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*
Cover the Home button completely. Don't tap too quickly, don't press down hard, and don't move your finger while Touch ID is scanning. Make sure that your finger touches the metal ring around the Home button.
If you're using a case or screen protector, make sure it doesn't cover the Home button or the surrounding ring. If it does, remove the case or screen protector and try again.
Tap Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and make sure that iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is on. Also make sure that you've enrolled one or more fingerprints.
Try enrolling a different finger.
If you can't enroll any of your fingers, take your device to an Apple Retail Store, Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact AppleCare for help.
* Moisture, lotions, sweat, oils, cuts, or dry skin might affect fingerprint recognition. Certain activities can also temporarily affect fingerprint recognition, including exercising, showering, swimming, cooking, or other conditions or changes that affect your fingerprint.
