Firefox won't work, every website has an error like the internet isn't connected but internet explorer works fine, how do I fix it?

This is the message I get for EVERY website I have tried: Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at support.mozilla.com. I have checked the firewall and didn't notice any problems but I might not know what to look for. I have uninstalled and re-installed the program and still have the problem, I have also tried on different wireless internet signals and restarting my computer. I am using windows 7.

Which extensions did you install?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Please do the following. 
#Use Internet Explorer 8 or 9 and go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 4.0.1] Do not choose "Run" when you see the prompt, but instead choose "Save" and save the file to your desktop. 
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box). 
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier. 
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.

Firefox says "Unable to connect" but Interent Explorer works fine

Randomly one day, opened up firefox and it was unable to connect. I have gone to the support sites I have followed everything, yet nothing works. Internet Explorer works just fine so its not my connection. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the entire program it still doesn't work.

Did the problem appear after updating your version of Firefox? It could be your Firewall does not recognize the new version. See:

Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Today, two other users reported issues with the back-forward history list dropping down if they hovered the mouse pointer over the back or forward button -- without clicking -- and then moved the pointer downwards. I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me. Open the mail app and delete your exchange account (Settings > Delete Account). Then re-add your Exchange account. After this my Exchange contacts showed up again.

You need to restore the iPad.

The No Service means there is a problem with cellular service. You mention wifi in your title. Which is it you are having trouble with? What happens when you switch on and off as you state in your post? Are you saying that wifi does not connect while at home either?
