First of all, I would have to say that getting in touch with you is a nightmare and I am not at all happy that I can't just email or live chat with someone who can help!  I am not a technical person, I just want to be able to use Photoshop Elements and get on with it. I bought Photoshop Elements via Amazon some months ago and it worked fine.  I then got a message that advised that the trial version would expire, which it subsequently has (I have been trawling your site for weeks and weeks trying to find an email or phone contact to get some assistance).  Relucltantly, I am now typing this - and I suspect it will not help in the slightest!  I bought the FULL not TRIAL edition of Photoshop Elements and I have contacted Amazon who confirmed this, but say I need to contact you.  Can you please let me know how I can resolve this?  Louise A Fraser

    You may want to look into getting Xtools ps-scripts - Browse Files at SourceForge.net then.  Most of the support is for ActionManager script code where XML code is use as an intermediate step.  There are quite a few Photoshop script in XTools .   Ross Huitt is an expert javascript programmer though is is fed up with Adobe's lack of support for Photoshop scripting particularly the bugs in ScriptUI he is still maintaining tool he  has created for us free of charge. Tools like Image Processor Pro. None of his scripts are save as binary so you can read all of his code there is a wealth of knowledge in there....

    Is there anyone there? I hope there is someone who can you understand this problem and have the common sense to respond?
    I open gmail. I want to save an email to one of my folders.
    I position my cursor over the appropriate Folder icon or by choice, to the Trash.
    The friendly finger pointing cursor icon changes to an arrow icon.
    The hand icon allows me flawless access to opening and/or moving emails.
    The arrow, however does not open the link.
    On the Google menu bar the cursor hand with finger opens the links to Everett (my name), Search, Images, Maps and Play.
    When I attempt to open the remaining links in the menu bar (YouTube, News, Gmail, Drive, Calendar and More) the arrow icon replaces the hand. The arrow icon does not work. It will not activate these links.  Nor does it open email messages in the Inbox.
    Usually I reset, even reboot Safire and sometimes the problem goes away, then reappears.
    Can you imagine if this condition should it happen to a tech savvy Google Support person? Perhaps one can share and make my problem go away.
    I am considering dropping Google as my mail source. Unfortunate!

    I have uninstalled my Access Connection, but this problem seems to persist. IBM technician have changed the wireless card of my T60, the first few days after it was changed was very fine, no problem at all. About a week later, the problem occured again, and it happened quite frequently after that occurence. Now i really have no idea what is the cause and how to solve it.     Go back to the editor and close the photo there.

    Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
    Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

    I have a 3yr old HP running Windows 7.  For a class in Powerpoint the school allowed me to download MS Office 2013.  In a exercise to embed a video from YouTube it said I needed an Adobe Flash video plugin so I downloaded Adobe Flash Player 3 times with a reboot before the last time.  Each time the same message came up.  I initially reached out to this forum to see if there was a phone number for Adobe.  Since the clock is ticking for when the assignment is due I hired the Geek Squad to troubleshoot.  After optimizing my PC this is the message they ended up with after 6 hrs of work.

    JPG does not support transparency, so even if you create an oval with transparent background, the saved JPG will have white background. Instead, save it as a PNG, TIFF, or GIF which preserve the transparency.
    Here is one of many ways to create your oval:
    Create a new file the approximate size of the oval. Add the oval with the Custom Shape Ellipse tool, and simplify the shape layer.
    In the Layers Palette, Ctrl-click the oval to select it and copy the selection to the clipboard (Edit > Copy).
    Then do File > New from Clipboard. This creates the oval with transparent background cropped to the oval size.
    Then save it as one of the file types that support transparency (and also supported by the application where you are sending the picture to).
    Note:  Is is not even necessary to do step 2. That is only if some reason you want the oval to be tightly cropped. It is sufficient to delete the Background layer in step 1 (or turn off its visibility) and save the file. The oval will appear correctly in the book with either version.
