Flash delay on the web

i'm so close with my first flash animation. the only think i
need help with is this: when i open the page on the web, the flash
windo appears white before the file plays. here's the lihk: <

i'm alsounclear as to what to do with the html file that's
generated when you publish a flash project. could that have
anything to do with my problem? any help greatly appreciated.

Looks like the movie is loading (white screen) you should
look at adding a preloader if you want to control the way that
looks.

I can't install Flash Builder from the Web Premium suite, what should I do?

I just downloaded the Adobe Creative suite 5.5 Web Premium and am about to install the program but notice a note next to the Adobe Flash Builder program... it explains that my system doesn't have the requirements needed for this program. I checked and it explains further details stating that I need to have a • Mac OS X v10.5.6–10.6 and I doubled check which version I have and it's OS X 10.5.8. Doesn't this actually mean that it does meet the requirements?
Please advise as to what can be done to be able to download this specific program.

so for the memory:      it's 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 and when I click to
install the programs it says (Macintosh HD: 10,0 Go (459,5 Go
disponible).
As for the processor: it's 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

We do still need more information such as how much memory you have,
resolution of your monitor, how much disk space you have free, which
processor are you using. I good guide is to look at the system
requirements and try to post for each of the items within the
requirements. The system requirements for Web Premium can be found
at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/web/tech-
specs.edu.html.

Is there a way to download a Flash file from the web?

Hello all.
I am just wondering if there is a way, similar to downloading QuickTime movies and trailers from the web (using the provided link or its URL) to download a flash file? i.e. a flash-made audio or video?

Startup delay over the web

When viewing the swf file generated by g++, there is a ~21
second delay before starting. This occurs only when viewing it
online, but offline it runs fine. Can anyone confirm this? For

Clicking FLASH elements in the Web Browser

The website that I am working on has numerous FLASH elements
in it and I was wondering if there is anyway to make it so that
users browsing the site with Internet Explorer do not have to click
on the FLASH elements before navigating the site. Any help or
suggestions would be appreciated.

10.4.9 update and flash players on the web give me no sound!

no sites such as myspace, youtube, bbc or even my own music sites gives me any sound after installing 10.4.9 this morning. is it possible to revert to 10.4.8? help!

This problem has happened before with 10.4.8 and earlier updates. Go to your Audio Midi Setup application, and make sure your sound output is set for 44.1 kHz and not something higher. Unfortunately the higher level which is found on SPDIF/Toslink capable Macs as a default is not compatible with many websites sound engines.

How to make a VR html file autoplay via the Web Content overlay

Hello,
We have created a VR using Object2VR and have loaded the .html file via the Web Content Overlay panel in InDesign CS5.5.
We want this VR to play automatically on page load, so we have checked the box 'aut play' in the Web Content overlay panel, but it won't play automatically.
We've tried switching the auto play off in Object 2VR and switching it on in the Web Content overlay and vice versa and also with both on, but still we cannot get it to autoplay.
Any suggestions? Is this a bug?

DPS is no longer supported in 5.5 you need Indesign 6 or Creative Cloud.
Set you auto play delay for the web overlay to something other than zero seconds, 0.125 works, if it is set to zero seconds. Leave the auto play enabled for the VR.

My edits to a flash template will not show up on the web!

Hello all.... I am editing a flash template that I have
downloaded. I have read up on how this is done and here is my
process. I open the .fla file in Macromedia Flash 8, I make some
small changes to some of the text, and then at this point I have
tried a few things... I have clicked the "Done" button, at which
point it exports the file to .swf...... I have clicked file >
publish settings > publish...... and I have clicked file >
export > export movie...... no matter what I do when I go back
into dreamweaver and access the updated files, I can see my
changes. THEY ARE THERE. however when I upload them to my website
and access the page on the web.... the original template shows up.
It is as if nothing was ever changed.... HELP PLEASE I'm going
insane!

Are you positive that you've also uploaded the updated HTML
that reflects the new SWF? Have you cleared your cache in your
browser?

Just tried this out on an IIS server with Flash player 10.3.181.14 - it worked.
Are you using the release version of Flash Builder 4.5 with the release version of Flex SDK (not a prior SDK build)?
The URL you mentioned gives me a 403 forbidden error.

Flex 2 SWF not loading on the web browser when Flash Player 8 is running

I got a Flex 2 application that is not loading on the web
browser when the users workstations got Macromedia Flash Player 8
installed. Please advice on what could be the issue, i got security
calls included i.e. securty.allowInsucureDomain, crossdomain.xml,
etc.
The application shows no issues on web browsers with Flash
Player 9 installed.

flex 9 is complete rewrite (almost) and its lot mor fast and
effecient) you should't want to use flash 8 if you can anyways, but
somethimes I guess there is not other way out..

Adobe flash player when on yahoo messenger for the web

I don't know if anyone else using the new version on the adobe flash player on yahoo messenger for the web. But it keeps on locking up and sometimes it cause internet explorer to lockup and crash. anyone out there having this as well.
This sucks.
When is this going to be fix. I have sent an e-mail to yahoo about this and it was not on their end and I have uninstall using the adobe flash player uninstaller and I reboot the computers so it can remove the addon's etc..
I also see that this website is slow as heck what is going on with it it use to be faster then this. Just like typing on a 286 at 16mbhz...

and i'm A+ certified computer tech trust me I know the ins and out of computers and networks I have try everything and came down to adobe has bugs in it so fix it.

It will very likely never be available for iphone/ipad/ipod.

PDF files load on the web, quicktime doesn't and flash doesn't

I am amazed pdf files load but not quicktime video.
Even apples own website has some streaming video and it will not load.
Flash sites don't seem to load either.
But PDF files.
At least they got that right.

I have a number of QT Videos on my website that I converted to "iPod Video" using Compressor2. Oddly, most will play on iPhone but some refuse! The embedded video frame shows the QT logo and a "play" icon when it think it can play, otherwise it show a greyed "play" icon with a line through it. And I thought all the videos were the same!

Published Flash module and 404 errors in the web server log

I’ve created a Presenter module, published it to my computer, and uploaded all the files to a web server. And it plays fine via the web.
The odd thing is a bunch of 404 errors in the web log:

In the data directory there is a file named spk10821.jpg that was generated by Presenter. The image is actually the presenter bio photo that would normally show up in the sidebar -- but no photo is there. The browser never requests the valid spk10821.jpg file, only the non-existent spk10821.1.jpg path.
Anybody know why this would be happening? I see in data/viewer.xml there is a tag for <image>spk10821.1.jpg</image> but I don’t know why Presenter would mention that file in the XML but generate a differently-named one in the publish folder.
I’m wondering if I should have the web server rewrite requests with the ".1.jpg" ending to get rid of the ".1" part so they will work.
By the way, this is with PowerPoint 2003 SP3 and Presenter 7.0.1.

I am assuming that you are using Visual Studio 2010 to target the .Net framework 4.0
Crystal Reports 2008 is not compatible with VS 2010. Use [Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010|Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 Production Release Now AvailableCystlR%2528SAPWeblogs%253ACrystal+Reports%2529] to target .Net framework 4.0.
Deploy the application using the methods specified in the 'Deployment' section of the [CR for VS 2010 .Net SDK developer guide|http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sapCRVS2010/en/crnet_dg_2010_en.zip].
See if you can reproduce the issue after redeploying the application as mentioned above.
Few questions-
- Is it the dev machine or production machine causing the issue?
- OS version?
- What does the application do? i.e. view, export, print report?
- Issue is with some reports or all the reports.
See if there is an image on the report, remove the image and add it as a picture object ' Insert --> Picture' from the CR designer.
