Flash doesn't work on Internet Explorer after updating

Hello everybody
I work in a professional environment
I have a Terminal server Windows 2008 R2 and I update Flash player to 11.5.502.146 (usinag command change user /install like usual)
Since this update, Internet Explorer is very very slow and we can not use it anymore
If I disable Flash player, it works perfertly
I tried to uninstall it / reboot / reinstall it but it doesn't work
For the moment we use Firefox, but we need Internet Explorer for our intranet
Do you have any idea ?
Does anyone know how I can get an older version 11.5 ?
Thanks for your help
Aurelie

Hi Aurelie,
Could you give our 11.6 beta a try to see if that improves the situation?  If not, try reverting back to a known working previous version (or our latest 10.3) to verify it's directly related to 11.5.502.146.

How do I revert to a previous version of Flash Player?
Thanks,
Chris

  • Adobe Flash Player not working in Internet Explorer 9

I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (version 11.7.700.169) and Adobe Flash Player stopped working in Internet Explorer 9. ActiveX filtering is disabled and the Adobe Flash Player add-on is enabled in IE 9. When I try to load the Web page for www.youtube.com, I get a blank screen. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox work fine - both can display the YouTube Web page. Is there a fix for this?

    What exactly means "not working"?

  • Muse CC 2014.1 slideshow--why doesn't work in Internet Explorer on a PC?

I have created several slideshows on my Muse websites but the one I just did yesterday doesn't work on Internet Explorer. It works on all other browsers though. Any ideas why or perhaps a workaround?

Well not really. Even if you did "convert" these images, iWeb would overwrite them again as soon as you published again. You see, iWeb converts to PNG anytime you let iWeb do anything to an image.
The secret is to have your images "iWeb-ready" before dropping them into iWeb. That means using some other program to properly size your images and apply any effects to them (like shadows, rotation, reflections, frames, etc). It's a pain in the neck, but it works. This is a limitation of iWeb that we all have to work around for IE users.
If it's any consolation to you, the next version of Internet Explorer comes with full PNG support and will bring the unwashed masses of PC users into a more modern era of browser technology (if the technology hasn't advanced even more by that time).

  • Response.sendRedirect doesn't work with Internet Explorer

I do posts like advised here: http://www.theserverside.com/tt/articles/article.tss?l=RedirectAfterPost. GET-POST-REDIRECT-GET. Now I have a problem when do redirecting to the same page in Internet Explorer. It works good with Mozilla Firefox but not with Internet Explorer. When user click to "Enable"/"Disable" link and do submit, application makes changes on the database. Changes occurs, but redirect to the page doesn't work. When I refresh page, I see that, the changes was occurred. When I use Mozilla Firefox with same JSP, there is no need to refresh page, because, redirect works. When I change redirect URL to other, for example http://www.google.com/, redirect doesn,t work in Internet Explorer too.

  • The wifi doesn't work on my iphone4s after updating to ios8. How do i fix it?

The wifi doesn't work on my iphone4s after updating to ios8. How do i fix it?

You're in luck, a non-unibody! At least keycaps can be found for those, cause when it happens to a unibody, you had better have AppleCare!
Anyway, the keycaps on your model have a little white plastic "scissor" that gives the up/down motion and feel. If it won't click back in place, that part may have broken. Take a look in PowerBookMedic.com for a replacement. They may even have a how-to video too.

Anyone know it is because this issue?
    Thanks and regards,
    rmves

    Hi rmves,
According to your description, my understanding is that your SharePoint hosted app not work in Internet Explorer sometimes.
I suggest you can try as followings:
    1. When you debug with Internet Explorer Developer Tools, you can check whether there is any error in the script.
    2. I suggest you can check the web request using Fiddler when the app work correctly. Then you can check if there is something wrong when the app not work in Internet Explorer.
    Best Regards

  • Flash Player 10.3 and Internet Explorer 9 update and workarounds

    Hello Flash Player community,
We are tracking the issues being reported on Flash Player 10.3.181.14 and Internet Explorer 9 and actively investigating them.  Users are reporting that Flash content is being displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.  We want to give those who are encountering these issues an update.
First, we apologize to everyone affected.  We know you count on Flash Player as an integral component of the web and we strive for high quality and performance in each release.  We are actively looking into the root cause of this issue.  Thanks to many of you submitting information via email and our online bug database, we now have some solid leads we are pursuing.
Flash Player 10 and later can use your system’s graphics hardware to accelerate video decoding, and can also accelerate video presentation on some sites. Starting with Flash Player 10.2, Flash Player will also take advantage of hardware accelerated graphics in Internet Explorer 9, utilizing hardware rendering surfaces to improve graphics performance.
With Flash Player 10.3.181.14, reports indicate that systems with Intel HD Graphics adapters running Internet Explorer 9 are the only systems impacted by this particular bug.  If you are encountering this issue and have a different configuration we'd love to hear from you.  Please review the instructions on this page for details on generating the information we'll need for further investigation.
    Solution #1
Adobe has officially released Flash Player 10.3.181.16 for Internet Explorer to address the graphical issues introduced in 10.3.181.14.  You can get this release by visiting our official download page, directly downloading and running the installer file, or using the Flash Player auto update mechanism.
After installing, we recommend you re-enable hardware acceleration if you had it previously disabled.  We also recommend you clear your browser cache and restart your system.
If you continue to encounter issues, please create a new thread and we'll do our best to investigate further.
    Solution #2
On some systems, you may be able to resolve this issue by updating the Intel HD Graphics drivers. It has been reported that driver versions 8.15.10.2361 and above do not exhibit this bug. Unfortunately, some systems might require updates directly from your system manufacturer. We’re working with system manufacturers to make sure they include the latest drivers in future releases.
    Solution #3
You can disable hardware acceleration in Internet Explorer 9 using the instructions on this page. Please note that you should re-enable hardware acceleration once this problem has been resolved to enjoy the full benefits of hardware acceleration.
    Thank you,
    The Flash Player team

  • New flash player 11 update doesn't work with internet explorer 8

I have Windows 7 and IE 8. This is a home desktop computer.
When the latest update of FlashPlayer 11.5.502.146 was automatically installed on Jan 9, IE8 stopped working. I can navigate to a site, but then it just freezes. I can not click any toolbar or other buttons or links--I can not even close IE--I have to use task manager. If I disable Flashplayer, IE works fine, but then of course no content can be displayed. If I go to a site and then enable Flashplayer, I can't click on anything again, so that doesn't work. HELP. Does the newest update not work with IE8?

I have a similar problem. I've Win XP SP3 with IE 8. For last few months I've noticed that Flash Player is not able to play flash audio/video on a webpage i.e., upon visiting a page the flash player starts loading but it does not finish - a circle keeps rotating - player does not manage to display 'Play' button. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player 11.5.502.146. Also, installed Flash Player 11.6.602.161 from above link. But, with same result.
Same behaviour is repeated in FireFox 18.0.1 with Flash Player 11.5.502.146. It seems that something else is not allowing flash player to play. I've latest Java 7 Upd 13, ZoneAlarm 11 and Avast 7.0.1474.
(Note: I've another PC with Win XP SP3, IE 8 and FireFox 18.0.1 and Flash Player 11.5.502.146 works well. It has Java 7 Upd 13. It has ZoneAlarm 11 and Windows Defender AV)
    Can anyone help?

  • Flash player not working on internet explorer 8 cipher strength 128-bit

    PLEASE HELP!
I'Mm using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 with cipher strength 128-bit and Flash player does not work properly, like when I want to watch a music video or listen to music on You Tube it plays then stops and plays and stops continuously I have installed the latest Flash Player but still have the same problem.
    Please please help anyone!

That sounds like you either have a very slow Internet connection, or the server at the other end (providing the video) is slow.
Try clearing your Internet cache; this helps sometimes.

  • Plug-in stopped working in Internet Explorer after upgrade to JDK 1.4.2

I've been struggling with this one for a week now with no success, hope someone can help. I have Windows 2000, SP4, IE5.5, everything was working fine with the initial installation of JRE 1.3.2, then upgrades to 1.3.4, 1.3.7, 1.4.1 and finally 1.4.2. An applet forced an install of 1.3.1_07, and it stopped working, I uninstalled both 1.3.1_07 and 1.4.2 and reinstalled 1.3.1_07, and since then I get a dialog with the message:
    Cannot load class sun/plugin/JavaRunTime.
The Bridge was installed at <C:\PROGRA~1\JavaSoft\JRE\1.37DB1~1.1_0> but the class is not there
Modify the registry key to reflect the new bridge location
    The key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Plug-in
or change your CLASSPATH to include the new directory
Please consult the documentation for more information
And the dialog title says "Java(TM) Plug-in 1.4 Fatal Error"
BUT 1.4 is uninstalled and totally GONE!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, numerous versions of JDK/JRE, always with the same basic result. Any attempts to install 1.4.x (either JRE or JDK) give this dialog PLUS a series of little dialogs with the header "asdas", and the message "register failk". I've looked through the forums and buglists for this same problem and found a few mentions of it, but there never seems to be any solution given.
And by the way, Mozilla 1.4 works perfectly with all the plug-in versions I've installed.
    I'm beginning to believe there's a conspiracy....

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.
    Hope this helps someone.

  • FingerPrint Utility - OmniPass - Doesn't work with Internet Explorer 7

OmniPass website password saving/autologin for Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 doesn't work correctly (it seems microsoft has changed the way their forms work for username and password submission etc)
OmniPass loaded slow in the earlier version it actually took about 30seconds or so for the FingerPrint dialogue to popup at logon, once i upgraded to v3.50.43 it loads in 10 seconds now, however when i first bought my notebook it use to load immediately, now that i've installed programs it's slower (not many programs).
Now i have done full registry cleans, spyware and virus scans, full cleanups, defrags etc...
I have tried editing the registry key for the OmniPass service - all with out success. It still hasn't gotten any faster.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi
The fact is that the Internet Explorer 7 is not official on the market and Toshiba doesnt support any Beta versions. In this case if you use any test versions on your notebook so you can do it only at your own risk!
Im sure that if you use the IE6 and other applications from the Toshiba recovery CD, all should works properly.

  • Web.SHOW_DOCUMENT('URL', '_blank') doesn't work for Internet Explorer 7

    Hello,
In my company, we are using Oracle Forms 10.1.2.0.2.
After inserting a URL, users are logged in. There is one page in the application that uses a button to open a PDF in a new page.
    Code behind this button:
    web.SHOW_DOCUMENT('URL', '_blank');
For internet explorer 6, there is no problem, but last week, some users have upgraded their browser to Internet Explorer 7. When they now push the PDF button, nothing happens. No error is given.
    Could someone please help me..

Actually, I think a couple of my colleagues have seen this with IE7 recently... It seemed to be related to individual PCs rather than anything in our software, and was sort-of sporadic. I think on one of the PCs, there'd been an update to the Google toolbar and that had caused problems (and of course, if you have Google toolbar, that has its own popup blocker that you need to disable for the site in question.)
Sorry to be vague, but I would look for any other browser plug-ins on the machine that might be causing issues.
    James
