Flash player  request that I reinstall it  every time i reboot my computer

I just  uninstalled  flash player  using  the  adobe  uninstaller,   following  the   steps,   it  installed  successfully.
Tonight  I got  message  up  saying  I  had  to  install  flash player  to  enter  Game Ranger  It reinstalls the same version.
Every  time  I  shut  down  computer  and  come  back  I  have  to  reinstall  Flash  player  again. when I go to Game Ranger.   I uninstalled Game Ranger  and it made no difference.   Other people  using this site do not have this issue.
I have Windows 7 64 bit  Ultimate  and my default browser is Firefox.
I did  deep scan on computer and have no problems, no  malware  etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions.   This  worked fine  until a couple months ago   now i have this problem
Thanks in advance

Well I just recently downloaded the application "Whatsapp" again after I synced my new iPhone 5 to my computer and it wasn't there. So I actually went into the app store and downloaded it from that again. It didn't make me pay the .99 cents as before though. Maybe because I was already in the system. This has really agrovated me, because none of my friends that use "Whatsapp" with thier iPhones experience this problem.
    Someone help please!

  • Logic asks for my serial number every time I reboot the computer.  Anyone know what gives?  I restored the program after a hard drive crash and now I need to enter the serial number every time.  Why doesn't it remember the code?

After a computer crash I had to reinstall the whole system using Migration Assistant.  The User ID is NOT the same as the original computer.  And now every time I reboot the computer and load Logic the program asks me to enter my Serial Number with a "Licensing" window. Why can't the copy protection see that I have already done this?  Am I missing some Pref file, or is it in the wrong location?  The program works fine once I enter in the number and insert my Logic XSKey (from an older update).  Thanks.

    Hi!
Do you run automap 4.8/4.9? If so, then the chance is that automap is the culprit for slow undos/redos on LPX 10.1. Delete the Novation controller in the LPX controller surfaces. You find it under preferences/controller surfaces. If that is the solution for you, then uninstall automap. You find the uninstaller under applications-automap.
    Good luck!

  • My audio aggregate device is not stable in Mountain Lion, it was fine before I upgraded from Snow Leopard - every time I reboot the computer it loses the configuration and so it is not available in Logic Pro

My audio aggregate device is not stable in Mountain Lion - it was fine before I upgraded from Snow Leopard. Every time I reboot the audio aggregate device (MOTU TRAVELER, MOTU PRE8 1, MOTU PRE8) has to be reconfigured so that it is available within Logic Pro.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
    NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

  • Every time I reboot my computer, I lose Firefox. Safe mode window won't stay up, after a half hour or so, I usually find a way to open it, but what's causing it

When I reboot my computer, the Firefox icon is still sitting there, but will not open the program. I sometimes have luck opening from a link from another software program, but there is no logic. When I try to "Start/Run" firefox in safe mode, it still will not stay on the screen - just a brief flash. This is frustrating! This has been going on for at least a couple of months, help!

Thanks, that may be the problem ... I just have Windows Firewall, but have recently trialed Norton for about a month ... did not buy it, but it caused other issues with my computer, as well. I uninstalled it, but (for instance) my Flash kept crashing, etc.

  • Flash player 11 (11.1.102.55) disables itself every time I reboot!   Win 7 -Thinkpad T500

Craziest thing has happened to my laptop.  For about 3 weeks I have had this issue.  Everytime I reboot, Adobe Flash player diables itself.  I say disable rather than uninstalls since when I look into the Programs section under Control Panel it says Flash Player 11.1.102.55 is there.   But when I try to play something such as a YouTube video or anything that requires Flash Player it will not run and says " You need to Upgrade your Adobe Flash Player"  or  in the case of a YouTube video embedded in a website it says "The Adobe Flash Player or an HTML5 supported browser is required for video playback.".  I use IE 9 for my browser.  I then have to re-install Flash Player onto the laptop and then I can once again play video.
Then I just saw the followng item today when I booted my computer up in the morning. First time I have seen this.   Upon Bootup and not doing a single thing to the laptop but booting up, Windows gave me a message that said " Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 10.1 r102 has stopped working".  It then generated a few files for me and asked if I wanted to send more infoarmtion about the problem.  One of the files was a .txt file.    The other was a mdmp fil and the other was a .xml file.  The .txt file is copied below.
Can someone help me fix this!
    Thank you,
    Marc

This told me that something called "C:\ProgramData\MediaMall\if.exe" was uninstalling then immediately installing itself on system startup.  We tracked this executable down to a service called PlayOn.  Once this service was disabled, Marc was able to install the latest version of Flash Player without having it uninstalled the next time he rebooted.

  • Flash Player needs to be reinstalled every day

Without any specific cause, I have found that to view most videos I must reinstall Flash Player every time I start my computer whether I use Firefox or IE. Of course Chrome works always no problems, but it is not my desired browser- that's firefox. Once installed Flash works perfectly. If the computer is shut down, restarted or allowed to sleep, Flash must be reinstalled. I can't find any settings that effect this issue. Very frustratring.

What about if you tried those steps, and it's still not working?  Have the same issue; flash keeps uninstalling itself, and tried that solution.  Reinstalled flash, said it worked.  Downloaded the thing from Windows, downloaded the attachment and extracted to the same folder, ran it as admin.  Little DOS box seemed to work fine.  Restarted the computer, and yet again, flash is missing.  I get nothing at all when trying to view videos.  Becoming very frustrating!  Using the latest Firefox, Windows Vista (64-bit), and never had issues before.  All was fine till quite recently (past week).  So, what next?
Edit to add:  Tried, after restarting the computer, to reinstall Flash Player, and no wit won't install AT ALL.  keeps saying it's "already in use", and then trying to open multiple new downloads to install it.  Becoming extremely frustrating.
Have also tried to install an earlier version from the site, but every time I try, I get the messagethat it can't install because it's not the latest version.

  • Why must I reinstall Flash every time I reboot?

I have WindowsXP and IE 7.
I have installed Adobe Flash Player 10.0.42.34 MANY times. It works fine, until a point that I need to reboot my computer. Once I reboot, Flash is still installed and a listed program, but no sites will open with Flash, stating it is not installed.
Only solution I have found is upon reboot I must delete my Flash and then reinstall it. Every time I reboot! I am living with it, but sure would love a solution.

LIKEWISE WHY IS THIS ISSUE BEING TOTALLY IGNORED
COME ON GUYS THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
    A SOLUTION WOULD BE GOOD

It's not Logic that can't find them, it's your Komplete apps, though if you did exaclty as you say I can see no reason why they can't.
Do you know where the apps installed them in the first place? I chose a non-standard locarion for mine, but I'm sure it installs sounds to your documents folder/native instruments/name of app.
Go into the prefs of each app and choose the library location button on the library tab and point it to the relevant folder in documents/native instruments and see if that works

That's a good question. I may have installed FP 10.1 Beta in many of the attempts to resolve the issue. I've scanned my registry for any reference to Flash and removed anything that remotely resembles Flash Player (of course backing up Registry first). I've run uninstall_flash_player.exe, which doesn't appear to do anything. I've checked logs and there's no reference to Flash Player being installed.
When I go to the link provided ( http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) I get the messageThe version of Adobe® Flash® Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest, most secure version. and when I look at the log (install.log) I see an attempt to install Flash Player. The same thing happens to me, Safari asks me to update the Adobe FlasPlayer, I download, start the installation process, ask me my username and password in order to install, then see a window where I choose if I want to always install the updates , or ask first, or not inslate updates, and at this point it is not progress, I can not cancel the process, I turn off and turn on my machine.
    What can I do ..??
    Regards.

I renamed my plugins folder to plugins.old.
It recreated the Plugins folder and all was good again. I have since reinstalled the plugins I've been prompted to install.
