FM/Transaction/BAPI to delete sales order line item in APO

Hi,
Could you please share the details of FM / Transaction / BAPI to delete sales order line item in APO?
Tcode - SDORDER_DEL / FM - BAPI_SLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 delete the complete order with all its order items.
Even the OM function modulesdelete the complete order. We could not locate a BAPI/FM for deleting only specific line items of a Sales order...
Thanks,
Arvind.S

Hi Arvind,
Can you try the below:-
Function module : BAPI_SLSRVAPS_REMOVEITEMS
Bapi object type: BUS10501
Using this, one can delete One or More Sales Order Items / Schedule Lines.
Please confirm

  • Information about the deleted sales order line item in idoc.

    Hi Experts,
I am new to IDOC.We have the following idoc requirement,
When a line item is deleted from the sales order(VA02) ,
the outbound idoc getting triggered for the sales order has the information about the rest all line items other than the deleted line item.We now want the information about the deleted line item in the Idoc .
Please help me in proceeding further.

    Hi,
I am facing the same scenario of capturing the  deleted sales order line item in idoc.
I am using ORDRSP message type , where in E1EDP01- ACTION contains value  "000" .
And the Deletion line item is not been captured, is there any configuration setting required to
capture the deleted line item in Idoc.
Based on the posting in this thread i understand that there is an  indicator which has to be set .
Please let me know what is that indicator and how to set it?
    Thanks

  • Cannot reject/delete sales order line item due to del.date in 2210

    Hi all,
not sure if anyone else had this issue already....
    Situation :
Sales order line item entered with delivery date in 2210.    We would like to correct this order but can't....
every time SAP issues error :
    Error determining posting period (info
    S008, variant GL, RC 3)
I believe this is because we haven't maintained our calendars yet for 2210 :-D
Question : without us having to load/define the calendar...is there a utility/oss program which we can use to delete the line item, or reject it...or even update the delivery date?
    Thanks for your help!

If the system pop ups the error message M2012, then please refer note 10891 or 37532.  If the error message number is different, please update the forum.

  • Deleting Sales order line item

    Hi,
The sales order line item deletion should not be allowed after accouting of the advance payment is happened.
    How to achieve this.

    Hi Seema
As far as I could guess you need to grey out VBAP-ABGRU field once you have posted payment for the sales order line item. Since this is a SD related process no validation or substitution would work in this. In this case when posting the incoming down payment through F-29 internally you need to call the user exit in the sales document to update the status of VBAP-ABGRU.

  • Due to deleted Sales order line items and Archived Sales order is still showing as Incomplete in BW as Open Order reports because of Incorrect SAP R/3 Rejection Status("A") in VBUP table.

In a archived saler Order user had deleted Line Item and completed overall sales order. Now this sales order is archived, but it is stll appearing in BW report as open order because of deleted item  with rejection Status is maintained as “A” (Not yet Processed).
We want to change this status from "A" (Not yet Processed) to "C" as completed.
I have tried to reload Archive data but due to some limitation I was not able to do it. Also I feel this will like this s not the proper way to do it.
Could you please help me to correct way to do it???
    Thanks in advance....

    Hi Vaibhav,
If you can get the list of Sales orders which has deleted line items and force completion status. You can manage them in BI via lookup  or navigation attribute.
Just my views I am sharing .

  • Transaction VKM1 - Changes Sales Order Line Items Custom Fileds

    Hi,
I have a challenge to indentify the impact of VKM1 on a Sales Order Line Item Customer Enhanced Fields. When credit hold for the customer is released in VKM1, I want to prevent some of the changes to the line items in the User Exit. The Problems I am not sure, How VKM1 is calling the Transaction VA02 or those Sales Order User Exits to modify certain customer enhanced fields. I tried Activation of Break Point in Update Task but did not stop at the Break points set up in the User Exit. How does Transaction VKM1 call the Sales Orders to execute changes? Is it through BAPI or Call Transaction VA02 or some thing else.
Can any One please help me? Appreciate Your Help in advance.
    Thanks,
    Kannan

VKM1 uses FM SD_ORDER_CREDIT_RELEASE to release orders on credit.

  • Restrict deletion of sales order line items

    Hi,
I need to restrict deleting of sales order line item, I think we can use the user exit, MV45AFZB, USEREXIT_CHECK_XVBAP_FOR_DELE.
But when i set the flag to 'X', even though it does not delete at tht instance when the sales order save is clicked again the line item gets deleted.
ANy idea , to prevent that?
    Thanks
    Keshi

    Hi Keshi,
That is the correct exit, we are using the same without any problem. Just set US_EXIT  = CHARX.

  • Sales order line item delete error for MTO sales order

    Dear Experts
iam facing below error for MTO sales order line item deletion
"For reasons of cost management, item 000040 cannot
    be deleted"
    Please help
    Regards,
    KEdar

It looks you try to delete the sales order line item and you get this error message.
Try to put reason for rejection for the line item and save the order. This is equal to deleting the line item.
You can also refer the OSS note 14097 - Order item cannot be deleted/overwritten for further information.

  • Re-Cost (CK55) Marked Sales Order Line Items

My current client resets standards each quarter. They have requested to re-cost open CTO Sales Order line items and update the valuated sales order cost (EK01). I have reviewed the options available in CK55 - Mass Costing and find the processing log retrurns the following message:
Cost estimate with status VO exists. See long text
       Message no. CK_MCSO014
       Diagnosis
A cost estimate with the status VO already exists. This cost estimate will not be overwritten.
       System Response
Processing continues with the next item.
       Note
You can remove this message from the log with the customizing transaction User-Defined Error Management for Mass Costing of
Sales Documents. The item will still not be costed, however.
Short of manually re-costing each open sales order line item. Is there a way to re-cost open CTO Sales Order Line items?
    Regards,
    Dewayne Wesley

I didn't realize there was a MASS Cost transaction.
Is there a MASS delete Sales order Cost estimat transaction? That would help.

  • Sales Order Line item characteristics (classes)

I am not 100% sure what I am talking about but I need to get characteristics for materials on sales orders (line items).  I am told that these characteristics are stored in classes which get assigned to materials via the material master.  I am also told that these characteristics (classes) are created/maintained in transaction CT04.
My ultimate goal is to create an iDoc similar to LOIPRO01 only include the characteristics for each material.  I imagine that I will be getting the characteristics from a BAPI or FM but I do not know which one.  Also, is there an existing iDoc that contains the fields of LOIPRO01 and also the characteristics?  Right now my plan is to copy LOIPRO01 into a Z iDoc and add the characteristics.
I did search and I found that people were suggesting BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL and FM CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS.  However, I ran them using the test functionality and they didn't seem to return what I need.
    Regards,
    Davis

    Max,
Thanks but those give me the details of the characteristics but I need the characteristics of the line items on an order.  I am looking for the way to link up the line item to the characteristics.

  • How to upload sales order line items?

    SAPGurus,
For years my customer service department has been asking for a way to upload sales order line items into the VA01 sales order-entry screen.
Many of our customers submit PO's with huge amount of line items, up to 1,000 lines. Our CS reps need to key in the data line by line (or copy/paste
approx 17 lines at once from Excel into the VA01 screen), and we are looking for a way to make this process leaner. One idea we have is that user creates the order header, and then has a way to upload the material numbers and quantities in a separate (newly created Z-transaction) screen in one go.
Obviously rules then need to be built that deal with the various pop-up messages related to e.g. ATP, material status, etc.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on how we could achieve this? A way to make the sales order-entry process a bit less time-consuming? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !
    Thank you,
    RVS

  • No cost booking against sales order+line item once accontng release is done

    Dear all,
I want to stop all cost bookings against a sales order + line item once the accounting release for that item has been done.
By cost booking i mean, all such transactions that are done for a sales order + line item that involve cost booking. Like, MB1A should not allow any goods issue against that sales order + item once accounting release is done.
Is it possible to that in sales order? Like by using any status at item level.
    Please guide.
    regards
    SAPshed

    Hi Ajay,
We have not kept automatic cost estimate marking during saving of sales order as costing dept wants  to confirm whether costing for the SO is correct or not.
Hence we have to use CK51N.
Now the problem is for any change in any line item of a sales order is changing the costing status from "VO" to "KA" for all line items of the given sales order in table KEKO.
This is causing measure problem as production people are facing problem while making any change in production order as already there is a check put in CO02 that if cost estimate does not exist for underlying sales order, then change in production order should not be allowed.
Similarly production order creation (converting planned order to production order) is getting held up.
Costing user has to repeated run CK51N for all line items of a single sales order if there is any change in any single line item of the sales order.
Hence pl. help and suggest as to what is to be done now.
    Regards
    Ratna

  • Print Preview of 'Document' attached to a PR/PO, Sale Order line item

Is there a BADI/BAPI involved in 'Print Preview of Document attached to a PR/PO, Sale Order line item'. When I select a line item in PO for which a DIR is attached, it doesn't display the files content in the Print Preview.
Q:) Is the system supposed to display the 'Original file' content attached to a DIR in the Print Preview Or is this the standard behavior that system won't display attached DIR - file content.
    Please advise.
    -Thanks

    Hi,
unfortunately I have to inform you that from DMS point of view such a 'file preview' function is not available in the standard of the R/3 system.
If you want to raise a development request at SAP please see the SAP note 11 for further information.

  • How to set Confrimed quantity as 0 in the sales order line item

    hi all
i have a requirement that my user dont want to see confirmed quantity in the sales order line item.
    scenario is make to order.
i have set strategy group is 20 -make to order
                                            MRP Type is PD
                                           Lot size -
EX , still its showing confirmed quantity.
could pls any one tell me how to set 0 quantity in the sales order line item
    thnx

    Dear Sateesh,
If the availability check is carried out and stock is not there in our plant, then it will show the confirmed quantity as Zero.
If you don't want to carry out the availability check,
    To achieve this,
    1. Remove the availability check in the transaction OVZG against your requirement class.
You can find the requirement type assigned to the sale order in the procurement tab.
In OVZH transaction, you can find the requirement class assigned to your requirement type.
    2. Remove the availability check for your schedule line category in VOV6.
In the material master MRP3 view, you ll be having Availability check, there you need to specify the availability check..
If you specify it as KP(No check), then it will confirm the qty, though the stock is not there in our plant..
To meet your requirement, you have to prefer user exit.(Correct me if I am wrong)
    Thanks,
    Venkatesh.S.P
