FMCore has stopped

So a while ago I decided to try out Suitcase Fusion but later on decided I didn't need it after all. However, whenever I start up any design program on my Mac, a notification pops up saying that FMCore has stopped. I've looked this up several times and can only seem to find a solution for people who are using SF at the time. So I don't have SF and can't stop the alert. What can I do to make this annoying little box go away? Can anyone point me in the right direction with this? Thanks.

Go to the Extensis web site and look around there. They at one time had a fix posted for this problem.

Fmcore has stoppped

I receive an alert message when opening Illustrator CS3. The alert message is:
"FMCore has been stopped. Please start it from the System Preferences pane and then relaunch Adobe Indesign CS3."
I know this was a problem with suitcase fusion and i could turn it back on in system preferences but i have since uninstalled suticase fusion and the message keeps appearing.
Can anyone advise me on what I could/should do from here? I appreciate any help you might offer.

Ok so i re installed suitcase fusion 2 and turned on the core but frustratingly indesign still says the fm core has stopped, i think the problem is i may have reinstalled suticase fusion in a different place where indesign doesn't know where it is. Or it might have something to do with the font faut, if you go to the system preferences and click on suitcase fusion at the bottom of the window it gives the font vault location, on mines its at:
/Users/StuartHamilton/Library/Extensis/Suitcase Fusion/Suitcase Fusion.fontvault

Try restarting PC and run itunes again!
If error again than perform clean instal of itunes (uninstal first and than instal again)!

HT1689 I can reach the iTunes Store from my iPod Touch, but it will not open on my PC running Windows 7. Message shows that iTunes has stopped working. This happens every time. I have updated iTunes Software. Will not solve the problem. What is wrong

I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded. When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:

The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up. The computer will shut down the website.

There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details. When clicked a long list of items show up. I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them. I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version. How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?

I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

Can't get itunes. I get the following message when I click on either the shortcut or the program. It says ITunes has stopped working and I can either check on line for a solution and close the program or just close the program.

It seems that my entire library is not there. If I sync my ipod will it add it back into my library on the computer?

ITunes 10.3.1 has stopped working in Windows 7 64bit

I just upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and I downloaded iTunes 10.3.1 for Windows 7 64 bit. My Quicktime player is working fine but everytime i tried to open iTunes, it gives me an error message that says iTunes has stopped working. Try copying the QTMovieWin.dll in the c:\program files (x86)\common files\apple\apple application support folder to the c:\program files (x86)\iTunes folder. I had same problem and it's fixed this bug.

ITunes has stopped working ...Running Windows 7(64)

I upgraded my home PC Desktop to Windows 7 earlier this year and had no trouble bringing over iTunes from my previous platform (Windows XP).
I recently returned home to the US from a work assignment out of the country and because my iTunes resides on my home PC desktop, I didn't open up iTunes for the past 6 weeks. During this time Apple released iTunes 10.5. When I returned home, the old version of iTunes was still working. However, when I upgraded to iTunes 10.5, iTunes stopped working. The error message: "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I have worked through the following knowlege bulletins (nothing has fixed my problem):
(a)" iTunes for Windows Vista or Windows 7: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues"
(b) "iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-ins"
(c) "iTunes 10.1 for Windows: iTunes may stop working and need to quit while importing or syncing audio"
(d) "Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows vista or Windows 7"
(e) "iTunes for Windows: system restarts, blue screen, or quits unexpectedly when accessing iTunes Store"
the last bulletin (e), recommended ensuring that my drivers were up-to-date. So I also updated my drivers.

PS - someone recommended uninstalling Apple Quick Time Player. I don't have Quick Time Player.

I had the same problem. I'm using 64bit Windows7. This solution only partially worked for me. I still couldn't connect to the iTunes store.
The following solution worked for me:
COPY    QTMovieWin.dll
FROM    c:\program files (x86)\common files\apple\apple application support\
INTO     c:\program files (x86)/iTunes

Unlikely. Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone.

Thanks Pat. I was able to resolve the problem.
OS is Windows 7 Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.07.
I went into the Properties file where I identified that Users only had Read & Execute and Read properties, I changed properties for Everyone to Full Control. That fixed the problem.
I don't know how the properties got changed to just Read & Execute, but there had been an automatic update the night before.

Adobe Bridge CC has stopped working -again

After many months of pain caused by Bridge CC not working it seemed to be cleared up in Sept '14. (I used just about every fix that was suggested incl. preferences changed to have no program load on startup, managing cache, etc.) I has been working flawlessly until today. My pc notified re: windows updates were ready to install. I cleaned my pc, closed all programs and installed 23 updates. (Win7, 64bit) Updates seemed to install cleanly but Bridge CC will not open and displays a white screen and the msg "Adobe Bridge CC has stopped working" This began immediately after the os updates were installed so I suspected that was the issue. I restored the pc to before the updates and CC will still not open (stopped) and in desperation I tried Bridge CS6. CS6 opened normally and I was able to open a folder. Touching the space bar should have opened the selected file to full screen image but instead I got the same error msg now saying Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working. I have the same programs on my laptop and CC opens and works properly. So that sounds like my pc and not Bridge is the problem but there is an incompatibility somewhere and I am stuck and my work is piling up as I speak. I need my bridge back!

This problem has been solved by Microsoft, rebuilt Win7. I would like to delete my question to reduce clutter here but I don't know how to delete it. A moderator may delete this if they wish or someone can add to my reply and instruct me. Thanks!

Bridge had worked before. When I refer to BRIDGE I mean that I go to a
folder of photos in PS and select file/browse to open. This feature
does work with other folders of photos. It was when I downloaded photos
from my cell phone into a folder and in PS went to file/browse the
browser will open and then I get a message "Adobe Bridge has stopped
working."
I can still go to another photo folder in PS and select file/browse and
it will work, the problem is with the photos from my cell photo.
Do you have any ideas.
I have the latest versions of PS.

Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working - has issue been resolved?

I am experiencing the above problem with a new install of CS6.
Has this issue been resolved?
CS6 Design and Web Premium installed on Win 7 pro 64 bit Dell Precision laptop. Error with Adobe Bridge cs6: "Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working", problem event name "APPCRASH". Error occurs when opening Bridge from Photoshop and other apps (Browse in Bridge) and directly from desktop or start menu. Also a cache directory is not being created under c:\user\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\bridge\. Holding ctrl key down and double clicking icon gets same message, cannot get at reset window.
Performed the following with no change: verified Bridge and full suite is on latest version (Bridge=5.0.2.4); created desktop icon directly from bridge.exe; verified application was installed and is starting with administrator privileges; verified latest display driver installed; performed complete uninstall of CS6, CC cleaner tool run, then full reinstall; Error under Event Viewer: faulting application: Bridge.exe and faulting module name: ntdll.dll; disabled UAC; tested memory for damage using MemTest86-good.

A follow up to the above.
There appears to be a number of possible causes for this type of error. In my case it was somewhat specific. I had a stand alone copy on this same machine previously of Adobe Photoshop CS2 (only) which was completely uninstalled prior to the installation of CS6. There is an issue with Bridge CS6 being installed on a machine that has Bridge CS2 on it. I wasn't aware of Bridge being present with my copy of Photoshop CS2 but apparently there were at least some components of Bridge CS2 left after the uninstall. The workaround that solved the issue for me was the creation of an empty folder:
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS2
