Folio not updating
I'm having trouble updating my folio. I make the change in indesign. Save. Update. Folio Producer. Update. When I open the app, it goes passed the library and right into the app content that was not updated.
I was using a custom welcome screen and thought that might have something to do with it so I removed it. Still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went ahead and tested the sample welcome screen from the following location and it worked for me on upgrade:

When testing the app behavior on upgrade make sure that you create a new version of the app through app builder. To do so you must select the app, click the "Edit" button, then step through the build process. This will increment the build number version and will ensure that iTunes will replace the application and perform an upgrade.
Also, when editing the application make sure the version drop down menu has "v29" selected. This will appear in the first screen after you select "Edit".

Folio not updating on iPad content viewer
Anyone else had this problem? I've made several changes to the folio yet on my iPad it doesn;t say there's an update available. I 'archived' the folio to try and get it back but it's just hidden for good now. I deleted the app and re-installed and all the other folios appear except this one.
Not sure what to do short of re-uploading everything to a new folio...duncan,
i experience the same bbehaviour. acrobat.com seem to become hickups after
some time.

Our multi-folio content needs some updates.
I have followed these steps:
1. Updated the source files in INDD with the content updates.
2. Updated the articles in the Folio Builder panel
3. Updated the folios in Folio Producer
There have not been any messages with errors with any of these steps. Tested in Content Viewer and the changes are implemented. There are two separate folios that have updates and both are showing up in Content Viewer.
However, we're not getting an "update available" notice on iPad libraries. I've also deleted and reinstalled the app; but the content updates are not appearing.
v26 is the version for this app.
Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated!
~ AshleyDid you ever unpublish/republish the folios? There was a bug in v26 apps that prevented updates from being registered after a folio was unpublished and republished. This issue was reportedly fixed in v27 and later apps.

Folio producer not updating folios on app after publishing folios
Folio producer not updating folios on app after publishing folios, before May updates it used to update my folios right away, it's been 2 days and my folios has not been published or updated. please help
yes I did, i even unpublished the folios adn then published them again, i made them public when publishing and it still doesn't make the updates on the app, on the folio producer it shows the latest files and that the updates request was sucessfull. But istill no updtes on app,

Cannot see offline folios after updating to iOS8
Hi guys, since i’ve updated my ipad to iOS version 8, i’m experiencing some issues with the adobe content viewer app.
The problem is that i cannot open the editions created before the update. The status bar keeps working but nothing happens. Differently, if i reupdate the folio by updating manually its articles, i get a duplicate edition on the content viewer app that works perfectly.
This only relates to offline folios uploaded trough the ipad’s cable.
Although it seems the problem is solved for me by redoing the update of every single articles, there’s a friend of mine (which seems had already posted the same question here) who cannot open his offline folios even when he do the articles update again.
Another strange issue, when i try opening the content viewer's default folio, i get a blank document and the app suddenly crashes.
i’m using Indesign cc 2014 with the latest update and a 2013 ipad mini retina.

As i've seen on the adobe blog, on iOS8 you cannot view apps (and then folios) made under version v31. This would have answered my question, but i've tried making another folio in v32 and i get the same error.
I suppose it's something related to the iOS update, since i've tried on the Android version on my galaxy note and everything works just fine.Hi
I've just experienced exactly the same. I made a v32 folio but once I go back to the library and try to re open it....nothing happen. I mean I see the status bar working but it doesn't open.
I'll wait for the fix. -
Content does not update when published
My content is not updating when I publish updates to my app. Side loading shows the updates, but an updated published folio doesn't. On the third try, I got a blank light grey screen. I finally had to unpublish and republish the content, which is obviously not an ideal situation.
Are there any known bugs or problems at the moment that could be causing this issue? The DPS Status page doesn't have any info.

-ScottI'm not aware of a way to get out of this state cleanly. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixes the problem (unless your unpublish/republish again), but it's difficult to tell your customers to uninstall/reinstall. Another option is to unpublish and then publish the affected folios as different folios, but then some of your users will end up with two versions of a similar folio until they archive the older version.
Let me ask around to make sure that I'm correct about the cause and to see if there's a cleaner workaround. -
Artical's not updating?
Individual artical's were edited and updated in the folio builder. The content viewer sees an update but does not show the changes that were made.
I archived and re-downloaded still not showing changes.
Using V23Also I tired deleting article from folio and re "adding" it to the folio...It builds and then just spins never uploading???

Folio Builder Updating Articles Loop
I'm testing a small folio, cover, ad, and story. I see a spinnng wheel next to each article, indicating that each article is being updated, but it's been updating for several hours.
Something is wrong.

when every article is spinning it is indicating an error-- and not updating. I do recall an Adobe employee commenting on the indicator-- and several forum users requesting an "X" rather than the entire panel spinning. -- i do believe it was either John or Bob that commented previously and maybe they can reiterate what was said before. -
Was prompted to update folio builder on my Windows 7 PC running InDesign CS5.5. Did so, restarted, launched InDesign and once again was prompted to access folio builder update. Tried it again, same result.
Tried updating both folio producer and folio builder, got the same results.
Still getting the prompt "A newer version of Folio Builder is available for download."
Any ideas on steps to rectify?
ThxI found a solution to my problem, which is kind of similar. Hopefully this can help others who get the update folio builder request, even when its been updated.
I found Indesign CS6 + Folio Builder has some type of glitch on my Windows 7 machine. If the folio builder window is open when I open Indesign, it will close as soon as Indesign starts up. When I open the Folio Builder panel it will always ask me to update the folio builder, even though it is fully updated.
The solution for me, is to make sure the folio builder panel is always closed when I close down Indesign. In this way when Indesign is opened, the folio builder panel does not open automatically. I then wait for a few seconds after Indesign has fully opened. Once it's fully open and ready to go, I open the folio builder panel and viola the folio builder panel opens correctly and I'm signed in. -
iPod 4,1 will not update to iOS 7. I updated my iMac to 10.9.1 (maverick). Latest Numbers version on iMac is not compatible with Numbers on iPod. Ideas? Can I go back a version with Numbers? I downloaded old version of Numbers 2.0.1 from DVD but with both versions the 2.0.1 will not open. So both versions are present but only the new version functions. I tried to drag the new version to the trash but the old version still runs error message and will not open. I did not try to restart with the new version in the trash.

IPod will not update in iTunes with Windows Vista
Every time I connect my ipod to my computer, my computer locks up and it does not update. The only way I can even connect my ipod is to use manual update.
iTunes does not yet support Windows Vista. There are numerous problems running iTunes on it. The latest release of iTuens 7.1 fixed some of them but not all.

Previews in Adobe Bridge in Essentials View do not update after manipulation in Adobe Camera Raw
When I open a RAW file in Bridge and manipulate it in ACR, the preview is not updated in Bridge Essentials View. The only way I can get it to update the preview is to open the file in "Preview" view, then it updates and looks fine in Essentials view.
Is Bridge set up to store the ACR modifications to those XMP files? Only then it can update the preview right after working on it. Else you need to refresh the preview cache.

Can not update request in data target
Hi,
We have a process chain for master data (10 parallel) loads. One of the load
failed with error "can not update request REQU_46xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in data target".
When I checked the InfoPackage
(a) update: full load
(b) it has data selection
(c) processing :PSA and then to data targets
(d) Data targets: update in all data targets for which active rules exist.
But I do not see any list of data targets here.
Can some one please suggest me how do I correct this load failure.

I export part of my master catalog to a laptop. I include the image files so I can edit the files at full res. After managing and editing files I import the catalog back into the master catalog. When importing I check to replace metadata, develop settings and negative files. I have been running some tests to be sure all my work is being captured in the master catalog by this process. I find that if I change develop settings or photo ratings this is detected when the file is imported and the data in the master catalog is updated properly. The surprise is that if I delete files or move files among folders in the exported catalog these changes are not detected and these changes are not updated inthe master catalog. It seems bizarre to me that such changes are not detected but I do not see how to get LR to recognize these changes and include them in the catalog update. Without this capability I don't see how to use catalogs to move part of a catalog to another computer for edits and file management and then move back to the master catalog.
There are various reasons why Lightroom works this way, but you'll need use pick flags to indicate photos to be deleted, and other metadata like colours or collections.
