Zoom dosen't work in flash applications and it is crazy small and too hard to read...this does beat out the fact you can't right click using flash in google chrome...I prefer firefox, but will go back to IE if it is the only program without such major bugs
I have also reset the minimum text size in flash and that did not help the problem at all.

I have different sets of users coming from different databases and using different
roles mapping for each of my web applications. I would like to configure a specific
security realm per application in my weblogic server 7.0 . Is it possible ?
I try to specify the realm-name of the login-config tag from the web-xml deployement
descriptor but it doesn't make any difference. The default realm is always used.
I also would like to tell the Weblogic server to use the default realm in case
the realm isn't specified or isn't found. For example, the default would contains
my admin users.

I thik this is a common mistake the ralm-name tag in the deployment descriptor is used
just by the browser for display purposes (when it opens the basic auth dialog box) so as
of now there is only 1 active realm which can have multiple providers as Kevin pointed
out

Email links out of Practice Fusion are not active (as they are in IE), which they say is a problem with "something lost in the communication between the Flash engine and the browser". Does anyone have experience with this?

This is a medical records system, cloud based. I use Firefox to get into the system, but any browser would work. Other than this problem, Firefox works fine (better than IE, in my opinion).
Patient demographics include their email, which is hyperlinked and should go right to Outlook (my default email program). This works in IE, but nothing happens on the click when using Firefox as the browser.
I queried Practice Fusion, which replied: In regards to your previous question about the email hyperlink in the patient information, it looks this is not something that can be fixed on our end right now. It is the web browsers' responsibility to handle these types of links, and there seems to be something lost in the communication between the Flash engine and the browser. I apologize for any inconvenience.

E50 Font size is too small

yesterday I bought a Nokia E50. this is really nice one.
I love it. but the problem is the font. Its too small. even some times I can't read it, if i am on move.
I think NOKIA should solve this problem. Because its a major problem.

How can I access applications if the wireless mouse does NOT work?

I have a new iMac (Snow Leopard) which comes with a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. Just in case that the wireless mouse does not work, how can I navigate through applications and the screen?

Let me replicate:
Shift-Command-A (on the Desktop, (but how to get there?) to open Apps, e.g System Preferences;
Arrow keys to navigate within Apps;
Command-down arrow to open a specific app;
Arrows to move around, e.g. to Magic Mouse
Space to open Magic Mouse;
Tab to move between options and arrows to change these; and Tab back to the back icon.

Interface Font Size is too small on hi-res monitor

Ok, so I am new to this.. I just installed Photoshop CC and the font environment is ridiculously small. I need to change the font size so I can actually work with this application.
I looked for help other than the forums and could not find any. I need help, please.

I was afraid of there not being a solution since the issue has apparently been carried over several versions already without Adobe changing it despite many, many complaints. I need the App for a class I am taking and signed up for Adobe cloud. If Adobe doesn't feel like this issue is important enough I will simply start using GiMP after I am done with this subscription. As much as this application costs, I should not have to "live with it" quite honestly. There are other options which I will take advantage of after this class. It's too bad because I really like Adobe. but what the heck?

I have a question about my Photoshop font size. I don't know why just this installed software shows magically small font and icon to see what is happening. I really want to fix this, so I don't have to stay so close to my screen to see it....

I recall that earlier incarnations of the help viewer had a
zoom setting that would allow for this. Sadly, it seems to have
disappeared and I'm unsure why.

Font sizes render too small in DW CS3 design view?

I have recently upgraded to DW CS3 from DW8 (which is still
installed) on my Vista Ultimate system.
For some reason CS3 occasionally renders fonts smaller than
they 'should' appear. This can be replicated using the below code
(I realise this code is not 'best practice' by any measure but it
is the simplest way I could demonstrate the problem). In DW8 design
view it renders exactly as it outputs in IE5, 6, 7, and Firefox
(with default viewing settings) but in DW CS3 the font appears much
smaller! I realise this is probably a standards issue, with CS3
probably sticking to the standards more firmly than the browsers
and DW8 but I need the design view to render as the browser will or
it is no use to me
Please do not say that I should amend my code to be more
'Standards Compliant' as my main use of DW is coding a large
PHP/MySQL invoicing system which is used within a controlled LAN on
IE6 only. It was originally written by someone else and has been
added to and updated by myself. It is very large and certainly
doesn't need rewriting just to render correctly in DW CS3 design
view.

.psd file size does not make any sense to me

I am hoping someone can explain the huge .psd file sizes I am seeing.
I have a Canon 7D and shoot raw. I have a raw file that is 24.6 Mbytes and is a 3456 x 5184 pixel image. I then open with ACR and do nothing but save it as a 16-bit .psd file with the same image (pixel) resolution. The .psd file is 102.5 Mbytes.
By my calcs a 3456 x 5184 x 2 bytes (16 bit depth) is 35.8 Mbytes uncompressed. Yet the .psd is nearly 3 times this size before it is ever opened in Photoshop.
Can anyone explain why? My 256 GByte disk has been eaten up like a bunch of breath mints...

Your assumptions are wrong.
"16 bit" RGB data has 3 colors per pixel x 16 bits per color. Thus, 3456 x 5184 x 6 bytes = 107 megabytes and change.
The raw file has, as I recall, 14 bits per photosite of measurement data that has not been debayered. Only one color range of light is measured per photosite.
Both the Canon CR2 raw format and the Photoshop PSD format include lossless compression as well.
I hope this helps clear things up.

When moving a page from one pdf to another I see a message "consolidating fonts" and the added page does not view properly

I am working with multiple PDF files in Acrobat Pro XI. Sometimes when I move a page from one PDF to another it does not view properly. It was fine in the source PDF, but not when moved to the desired PDF. I also see a message momentarily across the bottom of my screen that says "consolidating fonts". What must I do to fix this?

Follow these steps for Acrobat 11 .
Launch Acrobat>Tools>Print Production>Acrobat Distiller
Now in Acrobat Distiller follow these.
Select Standard in Default settings.
Go to Settings and select Edit Adobe PDF Settings.
Select Fonts and in the font source window select the fonts you want to Add.
Click Save As and then OK.
