Fonts on help screen

Hi,
I know this sounds very odd, but suddenly the font on the
Dreamweaver 8 help screens has gotten so small I can hardly read
them! I'd say they're about 6 pt. The index on the left side of the
help screen is fine, it's just the body of the text on the right
side of the help screens. These are the std. help screens within
Dreamweaver, not anything I authored. If I print them to a pdf file
it's the same... tiny.
I've tried things like Ctrl + and rebooting with no
improvement. It's not happening in other products such as Image
Ready or Photoshop CS2. If someone can tell me how to get back to a
readable size font I'd be very grateful.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

I'm not certain what font sizes you wish to change, when on a page you can use command and the += button to zoom in and make the fonts larger. On the finder desktop you can make what ever is on the desktop larger or smaller from the finder menu click view, custom view options, and adjust the icon size with the slider on the top, and the text using the text size box to select the size that your comfortable with.

Can't get rid of the help screen

CC2014. I can't get rid of the help screen because the links at bottom are gibberish. See screen shot. What font am I missing?

Man, logging into Adobe is a major hassle. Anyway, I reloaded Tahoma and Lucida. But I don't see any delete or do not display.

My help screen on Photoshop CS2 no longer works

I tried to activate the Help Screen on the Photoshop CS2 (Running on Windows 7) and was unable to use it. It was operating before but now I get this. I press Yes to get it to work, now it doesn't
What happened, and how do I correct it?

Does anything happen or you don't get the Adobe Help Center at all?
Do you get any message or error screen?

Lack of help screens in apps

I have downloaded several apps from the ovi store for my C6-01. Many of the apps have no "help" screens or instructions on how to use them. A case in point - I downloaded the CNN app. It is a great app, but I couldn't figure out how to play videos. Videos just wouldn't play. It would be so easy to have a "help" screen that would tell you how to do this. I am not singling out CNN. Many of the apps posted on the ovi store suffer from the same drawbacks. It's just that this was the latest one I downloaded.
Well, I'm not stupid (at least I don't think so). I like to try to figure things out if I can. I discovered that the videos will play if I change the settings within the app. I have the phone settings to use wi-fi only, but CNN defaults to my cell phone provider data to play videos.
What other unknown surprises lurk in some of these apps?
I think Nokia should require any app posted on the ovi store site have a "help" screen or some kind of a "how to" screen.

How to Restrict Master data in value help screen for a user???URGENT

Hello Gurus,
I have a requirement.When a authorized user logins to view the report, he should see only list of customers assigned to that user in the value help screen, instead of displaying whole master data.and the data is displayed perfectly fine for the authorized sales rep. By default, Value help screen displaying all the customer numbers.
How can I restrict in the value help screen?
Any help appreciated with points.

I got that Idea too. I created a authorized customer, I created a authorized Object and assigned to a role.But in the role, when I am changing the object to generate profile, it is asking to select list of customers from the customer table.If the customers are always constant then this would work, but in my scenario, customers for the sales rep changes over time and when I ever reps open the query, they should see updated list of customers assigned to them only, as we update the master data everyday from source system and that shud reflect in the value help.
I am trying User Exit to achieve this, but I am not getting proper ideas how to do this.
Any Help on this issue with user exit code???

Problem to generate same VA01 search help screen in BDC Program

          I tried to record using BDC, but the screen generated is different.

Just check the field in the VA01 for which you are using BDC , you may get the standard search help for that .

we are using EP 7.1.4.0.1. We like to change the labels in the logon help screen. (LogonHelpApp page openned by "get Support") http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsecumewdenduser/LogonHelpApp.
In the webdynpro content administrator screen, I can not find the labels used in this screen.
Where to change this?

Mapping a field from input help screen(Using POV) to user screen

I have used the Function module 'DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE', to get the value from Description field in the search help.Now its throwing a runtime error mentioned below.

This function works only after POV.
So ensure that it is written in that module:
like AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR f_name.

Help screens not working

Had to put Tiger back in after a failure on Leopard to make a good wireless connection, but now I have no help screens available at all. Is there any way to get them going short of putting it in again?

You don't provide enough information to tell why this is happening.
If you want to shoot in the dark, you can try resetting the Mac Help.
This can be done with OnyX via Maintenance > Reset > Mac Help. Be careful with this tool: Uncheck what you don't want to be done.
Or it can be done by hand. Dr. Smoke provides a walkthrough here.

Help Screen blacked out in 64 bit apps in CS5

I recently installed Production Premium CS5 and the AE/Premier Pro/Photoshop 64 bit apps have a portion of the help screen blacked out. I have spent 5 hours on phone with Adobe technical support and they have been unable to resolve. Has been escalated to level 2 support. Essentially the search box in left frame and the top of the main page consists of all black. This makes it impossible to see what has been entered in search box or where the tabs are to click for various options.

Issue was resolved by removing all Adobe Applications, including non CS5 programs like Presenter, AIR,Captivate, Acrobat and then reinstalling Prduction Premium CS5. After using Control Panel to uninstall applications, used Adobe's clean programn http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/829/cpsid_82947.html to remove all reminants.

Aperture does not show tick box for shared photo stream as promised on the help screen

I try to configure Aperture for iCloud shared Photo Stream. According to the help screen, I should select Preferences and see a panel with 4 tickboxes. The first three relate to My Photostream and work fine on all my devices. The crucial fourth tick box for sharing with others however does not show however. What else should I set-up to see the 4th tick box ?

Help screen for MII application?

I am part of a team that is developing a pretty big and complicated system built with .irpt pages and MII applets, queries, displays and transactions.
Does MII offer a way to build a custom help screen, similar to Microsoft's HTML help? How have creators of other MII applications done their help screens? Are there any examples to look at?

MII does not offer a special tool for creating help pages. You can use any tool for building dynamic web pages that you would also use to build your application, even external tools like Adobe Flex to create nice screens.
I once created a PDF User Guide which I linked into the User Navigation, so users can read it online or print it easily if needed. You may create help buttons that open small help pop ups.
Perhaps other users can share there ideas?

Creating an online help screen?

I am creating documentation for my company, and the ideal way to present it would be through an online help screen. When users are connected to the website, they would click a link, and a help screen would pop up.
I can make the various pages in Dreamweaver CS5, no problem there. There will be at least 40 or 50 pages when I'm done.
But I need to do more than simply present a bunch of pages. The help screen needs a table of contents. It needs to be searchable (so users can insert a word, and be taken to any pages that contain that word). And it would be great if it could include an index and/or a glossary.
HTML Help Workshop from Microsoft would have been the perfect program to create a compiled .CFM file. I made a test file with it, and it looks great, but apparently, it's no longer possible to access this kind of file over the web, at least not in Windows.
So, I'm wondering if it would be possible to create this in Dreamweaver. Are there any tutorials that address this specific application? Does anyone know of any templates or examples that I could see?
If at all possible, I'd like to do it entirely in Dreamweaver, rather than purchasing a license for Robohelp.

It is possible as long as your server runs ColdFusion, and that can happen in either Windows or *nix.
