I have researched this before and i see a lot of things that say get a external hard drive, but before I go and purchase one I want to make sure there is no other, simpler way, to solve this problem. Help Please.
You need an external drive so you can free up disk space. Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you have a minimum of 15% free disk space.

Hi, Although I had itunes downloaded on my pc & been using for a while now, today I've been prompted to download itunes again. This has been successfull except that 65 songs that I had previously in my library are now no longer able to play, the message informes me that the original files could not be found. Yet these songs are still on my ipod after being syncronised and I can play them on my ipod. Please advise how I can find the original files on my pc.

CarolI would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

when you have the same issue after the SMC reset:
put new batteries in the MM (even if the others are not empty), turn Bluetooth off then on again on the MBA, take all USB connections out (if any), delete the pairing of the MM and re pair the MM. -
wi-fi has full bars, says i am conected but never puts a check by the name of network,i have reset settings and it still does the same thing. i dont think it is my wi-fi because my other computers are able to get on just fine. please help.
There are two ends to a wifi network. Try rebooting your router.

When I plug in my ipod I can only get pics from my camera roll. Its like the other pics are not even there. I am afraid if I sync it to my computer I will erase all these picture. There are over 2500 pics of my family and kids. I loaded them from my Adobe photoshop 5 software.
You can't download pictures from iCloud by logging into icloud.com. If you deleted pictures from camera roll AND photo stream, the only possibility is preforming a restore from an iCloud backup, assuming the backup has the pictures in it. (Many users have been unable to restore and get back their pictures.)
If the restore doesn't have all the pictures, then they are gone.
In the future, use photo stream to sync photos from an iPhone to a computer, then copy the photos on the computer from the photo stream album into a permanent album. Photo stream pics stay there only for 30 days, and only up to 1000 photos are stored. Don't use photo stream as a storage medium, it's only for copying photos from one device to another. Always copy (either via USB cable or photo stream) to a computer and then move to an album. -
Since I've instaled the Airpor express, everithing connected to it works properly, My wifi network signal is good and I able to browse with my mac air, bu with my I-phone 4S even though the signal apears to be good and on the it shows is connected to my wifi network I can't open any web-site, instead I keep getting the same message: "Cannot Open Page - Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding.", wich is not true because I'm connected with my lap-top. The sound wifi system works perfectly but reggarding the wifi on my 4S I've tried changing through different chanels on the Airport (I saw people were having the same problem and aparently by changing the channels on the Airport the internet on the phone worked properly, but I'm still stuck with a brand new I-phone unable to opem my pages) I've also tried changing the Radio modes and still nothing.

I need help with syncing my iphone 5. it keeps giving me this file may be currupt to delete it and try again. But even after following the procedures on how to delete it i cant because there is no file to highlight and delete. please help me sync my cell phone i would greatly appreciate it
i had the same problem but i just got a new video converter and made it convert videos to ipod/iphone format and then put them into itunes. i would suggest GOM encoder as the encoder can convert them and then once they're finished converting, put them automatically into your itunes for you. from there you can just sync them to your ipod.

Hey everyone, I have been having this problem for about a day or two now. I have an iPhone 4, and have iOS 7.1.2. Basically, my iPhone will connect to my home WiFi sometimes, but it randomly loses connection and won't connect for hours upon hours. I have tried turning it on and off multiple times as well as resetting the network settings. I know that it is not my network's problem because a member of my family has an iPhone 5S, and it works fine with the WiFi, along with all of my other devices. This issue is getting very annoying as I don't like to use my cellular data at home since it is limited. Please help me!!
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
What happens when it fail to connect?

Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I keep getting the message saying that my start up disk is nearly full and I have been deleting as many files as I can but now I find that actually it isn't my photos which I thought it might be, I have no music, videos or movies downloaded and just a small amount of document files. It seems that I have 91.56 GB of files in 'other' does anyone know what they might be and how I find out what they are?

Hi, I have been using CS5 for a while now, but had to wipe my computer clean last night and now am unable to re-install my adobe on the same computer. Help please.
Can you describe more about what you summarize as "unable to re-install my adobe on the same computer." ? What actions do you take and what results? What messages do you get? Are you able to install it on a different computer?
Since you use the word "same", it might be a case that you do have another machine that the install is functional on. If so, or even if you installed a couple of times on the same machine, it might be a case where your activation allowance has been used up and you need to have them reset. If you contact Adobe Support thru chat you can ask them to reset your activations so that you have the two allotted to you available again.

I've been using my cell phone number to imessage from my ipad for a while now, but yesterday I got signed out of I message and when I signed back in, I didn't get the option to use my number, only my email adress. How can I fix that?

- Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
4. Sign in to your Apple ID with FaceTime and iMessage.

Hi Peter, Outcome is I look like a real big idiot!!!! When my husband got home I was in the process of writing down all the details to inform apple of the dodgy o2 store, only for him to inform me that he never got it unlocked at the o2 store because they couldn't do it the same day and as I have zero patience he took it a few doors down to a phone shop that advertised unlocking of phones! So now holding my head in shame I have to appologise to o2 and to everyone for wasting their time! Sorry! I assumed that when he gave me the phone and I asked that it was fully unlocked (as we had read up on the jailbreak and red something?) and he said yes! that the o2 store had done it, but he had asked the shop that unlocked it if it would be fully unlocked and took their word for it! so my phone has been hacked and I will now be (with my tail between my legs, so to speak) taking it to the o2 store for help : ( Hope someone else will read this and learn for my (well my husbands) lesson and go through the correct channels, Thanks again to yourself and KiltedTim and Sorry! I have shared my icalendars with family members via icloud and now my calendar on my computer has been stuck saying "Moving calendars to server account" for literally 5 days. What do I do?

Hopefully I can help resolve this issue for you. Try removing the preference to sync calendar events in iCloud preferences. Once this is down enable the preference again and see if this resolves the issue.
Turn iCloud Calendars off and back on:
Quit Calendar (or iCal).
Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then select iCloud.
Deselect the checkbox next to Calendars.
Close System Preferences and wait about a minute.
Open System Preferences and select iCloud.
Replace the checkmark next to Calendars.
Close System Preferences.
Open Calendar (or iCal) and test to see if the issue is resolved.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it reinitializes your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
If the issue persists, try all remaining steps in the article below.
