1.) Clicc HERE

and download the file named "tftp.exe".
2.) Clicc HERE and download YOUR, AND I REPEAT YOUR AND I MUST REPEAT AGAIN, YOUR ROUTER'S LATEST FIRMWARE. Please for the love a God, Allah, Jah, or whoever you look up to. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT FIRMWARE. If you don't know what version or model router you have, look at your router's home page or you can actually look at your router with your eye. Voila! You now know your router's model/version. Download the lastest firmware for your router.

It is strongly suggested that you remove all connections from your router except the one for the computer you are using! Not removing the other connections from the router can cause a corrupted firmware, and the dreaded flashing diag light.
3.) Double clicc on/open up the TFTP.exe file. Enter your password (admin if you haven't changed it), use the browse feature to find the (latest)firmware you just downloaded. Then, click on "upgrade". You should see a progress bar, then the message that you have successfully upgraded your router.

I have a WRT54G ver.6. It works perfectly with a windowns PC but not for my Mac. I have high signal but no internet. Do you know if this model is not compatible with Macs? thank you Simone

Backup All Music video contacts and everything except settings and Applications..
first then download and install ANNA via NSU or OVI suit, and update it..
then goto file mgr. and format mass memory..

There may be other issues with Windows and changes that need to be addressed to dual boot Windows natively.

For all you who have problems here is the fix for your phone.

Most of you on here don't understand that 3.x or if you have jailbreak your pass software and set it up from back up you are going to have problems. That can be from drop calls to not having the phone working right.
The 4.0 software has been rewritten completed for the new and old phones. So if you were on 3.x and update to 4.0 then you are bring in a bugs into 4.0. You have to set up as NEW PHONE not from back up. This clean your phone with a fresh software then you add your stuff from your computer. Then you have to go to general and go and reset your network settings. That reset your carrier account with the new 4.0. That because the new 4.0 is now looking to find the tower which has the less people on the tower not which tower is close to you. This way you get a better service and sound of it.
If you still have problems all of you with your iPhone 4 then it a hardware problem. You have to go to the Apple store and replace the phone. Apple will be happy to replace the phone. If not you have 30 days to get your full refund from Apple.
That is it. Nothing hard about it. It's a software problem of a hardware problem. BTW my new iPhone 4 is much better in sound and not having any drop calls than my old 3GS. If you have problems with drop calls is because you are in area which has a week tower which is so busy and can't keep up with the system. That a ATT problem which ATT is working hard to fix it but it can't get the equipment from their supplies fast enough to fix the problem with the network.

I know this sounds like a bit of Voodoo, but it's worth a try. If you've upgraded to the new iPhone 4 and have restored your old software, you may see what appears to be a signal drop-off. Let's stay away from the whole iPhone 4 "death grip" controversy; that aside, no matter what you do, you're not seeing as many bars or getting reception that's as good as what you had with your older iPhone.
Here's something to try. On your iPhone preferences, navigate to "General," and then scroll down to the bottom where it says "Reset." Tap that, and then tap "Reset Network Settings." You'll get a warning, and the phone will reset to factory defaults. You'll likely lose some Wi-Fi passwords, but you may also find that your cellular reception gets a lot better.
I have two friends who tried this, and they went from one or two bars to four or five at the same locations. This is the same trick they are doing at the Genius Bar, and my research shows that it can help in many (but not all) cases. We've talked about this fix before, but we have a lot of new readers, and some old ones, who may have missed it. There are also some discussions about this on the Apple support board. Diskutility does not show any error on an iMac, SMART should be ok (tested).
WhatSize running on the iMac and over FW targetmodus shows the Document folder emty (it is not empty, of course). Finder shows the size in both methods with 78GB.
At this time I have no HD for a backup, should I buy one for sure?

I would take a look at the apple hardware test. Your hard drive may be corrupt.
I'm not fully understanding you, however I can say that clone programs don't always take all system info, for a number of reasons I won't get into, but don't worry about it if your personnel data is their.
I would just copy your data that you have on your main drive, onto the external. Divide it up well, making sure you know what is what and what is where. Much to the disgust of others here, I would say just wipe and reinstall, put your stuff back (leave it on the external as a backup, you may want to look at a better backup solution) and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, you all fixed, if it does then your hard drive may well be having major issues.
If your Mac is within warranty, take it for a repair.

Does anyone have trouble with their Macbook Air Trackpad freezing?

I have had trouble in the past few days with my track pad. It freezes so that I can move the cursor but it does nothing on any of the buttons. It's just dead. Then for no apparent reason, it works again. It's driving me crazy. Ideas?

The MBA trackpad is the source of a lot of wierd problems and, IMHO, is the weakest aspect of the computer and compromises its usefulness. There appear to be multiple sources of the various problems; some are in hardware, others software, and yet others situational. Personally, I hate the **** thing and would trade it in a moment for a dumb 2-button, PC trackpad that at least didn't screw up unpredictably. At least that way, I would be able to concentrate on my work and not on the trackpad.
Anyway, to your post...
Some people have found it useful to disable all options on the trackpad using the System>Preferences>Trackpad, then power down (NOT restart). After it powers up again, set only those options that you actually use (the fewer the better).
From what I've read, if this helps, the help is temporary but can at least be repeated.

Maybe creative should do a money back recall on all that had problems with the X-Fi. I mean who wouldn't be mad over a 00 to 200 and over sound card they can't use. I'm lucky I don't have these problems myself, but I feel everyone's pain on this. Maybe someone should sue them over it, but that's just me.

Since installing Time Capsule, all other devices have problem with their internet connection

3 or 4 weeks ago my sister bought herself a Time Capsule to use with her IMac and since we have a big house and the Wifi Connection is pretty weak at her room, she connected it with our devolo dlan ethernet(which makes a connection between the time capsule and the router via electrical cables). I also use the same system for my xbox360/ps4 and never had any problems, but since she no longer has her Imac connected directly(WLan from her Time Capsule) something is messed up. If I don't unplug her Time Capsule I'm not able at all to connect with the Internet with my Xbox360 and with my Ps4 I'm only able once in 6-10 trials and only for about 5-30 seconds. But this isn't even all, my Laptop which has top Connection to our home network and also to the time capsule network sometimesneeds me to change between them for about a dozen times till it finally is able to make a connection with the Internet and even then it loses the connection to the Internet from time to time.
So my Question is, is it possible that the Time Capsule screws up some of the routing of the router and what can I do about it?
My Sister is happy because she finally has a good wifi connection in her room, but it got unbearable for me because it screws up the internet connection of every single electronical gadget I own and I don't want to have to unplug my sisters' time capsule every time she isn't in her room.

Yes, the TC can be messing things up. It is in router mode and is providing the dhcp in the wrong network to clients in the wrong places..
The TC should be in bridge mode.. is it.. ??
Go to the setup of the TC in the airport utility and check the setup.

For all those who say Verizon never calls back.

I tried to activate a STB last night that was picked up at a store just before closing. The box would not activate, even after the Cable CARD did an automatic firmware update. I contacted Customer Support and the box still would not activate because of some type of pending order on my account. Normal tech support agents cannot access accounts, for the customers protection, and theirs.
I was told that I would receive a return call within one to two hours. WOW! Within 15 minutes a supervisor called back and said the issue was resolved with the pending order for some type of future activation. Glitch? But the Supervisor had the box up and running within 30 minutes, and staid on the phone with me until I could go upstairs and Verify the proper operation.
Kudos to Verizon and their Fiber Solutions Center CSRs!

As of today Dutch software developers Sloof Lirpa are releasing their Android emulator for Windows Phone. This great app will run any Android 4.x compatible app and give all you windows Phone users access to the vast number of games, tools and gizzmos from the Google Play store.
A spokes person from Google announced they were thrilled to see Windows Phone users come into the fold and als announced because of this they decided to no longer stall and block their services to Windows Phone. Full and unrestriced access to Mps, gmail and other services would be available immidiately.
So there it is, Sloof Lirpa to the rescue!

For All Those Who Miss The Old Layout After Upgrad...

So yeah, I feel your pain but I've found a kind of workaround that will give you some of the missing layout features you miss from the previous versions of Skype, including the compact view and opening chats in new windows.
To do so, follow these steps.
Log into Skype, (obviously).
On the page that appears click VIEW.
Then click on SPLIT WINDOW.
Then close the second window that appears.
Please be sure to tell anyone you know about this topic and to reply to keep others aware of the workaround.
It should also be noted that you'll still be running 6.21 or 6.22, so any changes to the client itself will still be in effect and some of the minor cosmetic changes, (such as borders and colour schemed), will still be present too, but fundamentally it will look and work like previous versions.
Admin's: please feel free to pin this topic if a great deal of people find it helpful, I definately think that others would be happy with this help.

I use VMware software and after the instalation i receive this advertise:Cannot open the disk/Users/leofernandoz..../Libary/Application Suport/VMware Fusion/Virutal Machines/Boot Camp/%2Fdev%2Fdisk0/Boot Camp partition.vmdk"or one of the snapsohot disks it depends on.
Reason: The partition table on the physical disk has changed since the disk was created. Remove the physical disk from the virtual machine, then add it again.

At work we have many who travel with train alot, where the internet is very unstable at best. And they have trouble getting their e-mails. So the question is if there is a way to increase the mail cache in iOS 7, to lower the dependence of internet.

I don't think so. Unless it's in the settings, there's not much that can be done.
are they using wifi on the train? If so, maybe switching to cellular. There are devices like the Mifi, which is a battery operated portable wifi hotspot that they can connect their device to.
If the wifi on the train is solid, I know I've had issues using certain hotspots. For example, my yahoo mail simply will not pull down via the mail app if I'm on some AT&T hot spots. But if I go in via safari then it works. So if the signal is good, maybe using a different way can help.
Or maybe looking for a mail interface that isn't apple's. There are others in the app store that may have better function or more control.
