Hello All, I am selling our SCL-Z18X140 - Sony's FZ Mount power zoom lens. I've owned it for less than a year and used it only a handful of times so it's basically in brand new condition. The glass is completely clean with no pitting or scratches of any kind, and the servos are all in great working condition. There are also zero scratches on the body or the lens to be found anywhere. All original boxes, manuals, lens caps and hoods are included. This is an awesome lens for f3, f5, and f55 users because of it's long focal range of 18-252mm, manual and automatic focus and aperture control, and image stabilization. - JPG images are corrected in camera
- SRW images have built profile
- the information in the list https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support-lightroom-4.html
is little misleading because suggests there is a profile for Samsung 16-50 lenses
I tried to make a 3 profiles in a Adobe Lens Profile Creator 1.0.4 for 16mm, 26mm and 50mm (but it was very amateur work, so I don't guarantee the quality)

Connect camcorder drivers for a Sony CCD-TRV608 Hi8 Camcorder for Windows 8.1. How do I SOLVE? New camcorder?

There are no drivers for a Sony CCD-TRV608 Hi8 Camcorder for Windows 8.1. How can I solve this problem? Do I need to buy a newer or different model that plays video8 and videoHi8 tapes that IS compatible? Its a shame because I searched for months for the power cord and bought connecting cords for USB and the old fashion three RCA plugs for a VHS VCR and now I cant use them.

Dear Comrade VideoGeek, Yes, I am extremely frustrated, and you have my sincere apology if I was rude to you. I should have known better than to say unwise and unkind things to you. My bad entirely. Sorry!! The things you don't know are that Windows 8.1 does not under ANY circumstances acceps USB video streaming. Not from my camera and not from Dazzle or ANY other device or cable. That is written into STONE by Microsoft. Can't do nothing about it. That's a barrier that cannot be broken or worked around. The other thiing you don't know is that I do not have RCA outlets on my camera. I bought it assuming it must have as most devices until then did and got it home in 2001 or whenever and found to my great dismay that it ONLY has a USB output. Not multicolored RCA jacks of any kind. That is also a barrier that I cannot break unless I buy a used camera that takes my tapes and DOES have RCA outputs. My bad. I should have returned it immediately at the time, unfortunately I was too ill at the time to do so. I know you were only trying to help. I'm sorry if I was snippy with you. You were extremely kind to try to help. And I appreciate you. Hopefully other people will see your answers and they will help them. Meanwhile, I'm banging my head against the Apple walls trying to find out which product of theirs MAY be able to work for me and which is the best solution for me all around and that too is a nightmare. Power Reset
Turn off the television.
IMPORTANT: For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.
Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
Turn on the television.
Factory Reset
Unplug the TV power cord from the electrical outlet.
Allow the TV to remain without power for one minute.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
NOTE: The TV should turn on automatically. If it does not, turn it on.
Wait approximately 40 seconds for the TV to completely start up.
On the TV remote control, press and hold the UP ARROW button.
While holding the UP ARROW button, press and release the POWER button on the TV set.
Release the UP ARROW button.
NOTE: The initial setup screen displays if the above procedures were performed correctly.

Sony Vaio VPCEB3F4E intermittent power on problems

Hi All
Model above. Four years old, new SSD, everything else factory. Fan cleaned six months ago.
Was working away one day and just turned off. Wouldn't boot back up. Tried to take out battery, hold power for 30 seconds, then boot didn't work (power light goes green for five seconds and then turns off). After one go it booted up and went to home screen as normal, then turned off again and wouldn't boot ( light green for five seconds and then off) I left it overnight not plugged in and came back this morning and it booted fine, worked all day on it and then exact same thing happened. Now it is not booting again, the power light is still going green for five seconds but then just turns off. There doesn't appear to be any movement from fan etc.
Notes
The fan has been spinning loud of late but wasn't when it did work for a few hours. Battery life has been fine.
The green light won't come on with the battery in, only works with battery out now. However previously, when it booted earlier today the battery was in. Not sure how much help this is, the true definition of an intermittent fault!

Zoom Lens for Pano PV-GS180

We are a middle school that does a lot of video. We use the Pano PV-GS65-180 series (inexpensive 3CCD) for everything. I am looking for an inexpensive zoom lens that will work ok in low light situations for filming the school play etc. Does not need to have a real powerful zoom, just a litte boost.

Keep in mind that a telephoto converter will not zoom. It merely multiplies the camera's own zoom power. Also note that some cameras may not focus well with a converter in front of the lens.
So, the auto focus may not work well? Hmm, perhaps someone at BandH photo would know. We always use either tripods or monopods for filming. I gave up on hand helds with 13 year old videographers!
I am assuming the "telephoto converter" comes in different strengths? I don't need much, just a little boost!
I guess I could go to manual focus? What we want to do is to put the three cameras at the back of the gym. One camera has a wide angle lens (if needed) and on the other two I want more zoom ability. Then, when we edit in FCP we can get better closeups of the band, school play etc. Right now we use monopods and go right up on the stage behind the curtains etc for closeups but we are sort of looking at the side instead a frontal view. Plus, using the monopod in this situation isn't as ideal as setting the camera on a tripod.
Just trying to take your average middle school video production above and beyond.

Reinstalling OSX Lion for sale

I'm cleaning up a MB Pro for sale. It's from March 2011 and has Apple care for another 18 months. I can't remember if it had Lion or Mountain Lion as its original OSX.
The problem is; I've deleted the partition in disk utility but when I come to reinstall a fresh copy of OSX it tells me to reinstall Mountain Lion and it asks for my Apple ID to get the copy - if I do this, won't the machine then have an ID linked to mine? I just don't know how to proceed so help would be most welcome.

Revert the machine back to Snow Leopard using these instructions and your install disks that came with the machine or call Apple with your serial/model identifier to reorder new ones. The 10.6 retail disk will NOT work for your model.
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
Make sure the ENTIRE internal drive is selected (drive makers name and size) at the top, and use the Erase with Security Option > Zero All Data or else someone can grab your deleted files using software.
All partitions on the drive will be erased, including RecoveryHD, EFI, MacintoshHD and BootCamp, so make sure your sure you have plenty of backups, do NOT only trust TimeMachine.
When OS X is done installing, it will reboot to the Welcome Video, press and hold the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, it will remain in that state for the new owner.
