I have Windows 7 and for some reason I cannot install Adobe Type Manager onto my Computer. I need ATM to install the DIN font but am having no luck what so ever. I can see the DIN font in my Dropbox but it is showing up like this:- ._DIN-bold, no file file extension. what am I doing wrong? is it Mac?
(1) Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is not compatible with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP (32-bit, only). Attempting to install ATM on any newer version of Windows may actually disable Window's capability of rendering Type 1 and OpenType CFF fonts, requiring a reinstallation of Windows.
(2) There is no need to use ATM to install any fonts under Windows.
(3) The file name ._DIN-bold is indicative of a MacOS font. These fonts cannot be installed on Windows systems.

For some reason I cannot download and install the latest version of iTunes. 11.0.2. Could you help please? Each time I try, I get a command box saying 'The feature you are trying to download is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click Ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes.ms in the box below.

UK(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Just to make sure... you have the phone in ringer mode right? Sometimes the switch on the side gets bumped (especially if you don't have a case on the iPhone) and goes into silent. If you see a orange line on the switch - it's on silent.
If the switch is fine (and isn't loose or anything) try restoring the iPhone in iTunes. -
I have a MacBook pro version 10.6.7 with snow leopard. After an scheduled software upgrade I could not open Quicken (It said it could not open the files). Now I can only open it if I have my external drive on. Can you help?
All the information that I had input on Quicken is gone. I have to have the external hard drive that I use to back up to be able to use quicken now. It is as if it was erased from the laptop hardriveTry repairing permissions. My favorite way is with a utility called AppleJack. Info and download here. It's free. It only works when you boot in Single User Mode. When restarting or booting, hold down the Command key and S keys.
You will get a very different startup screen that looks like the Terminal app has hijacked the screen. Just let the lines of text scroll by. When that happens you will get a text entry prompt. Type in "AppleJack" without the quotation marks.
A DOS looking menu will appear. Choose 1 or d to run Disk Repair. If you get a message that Disk Repair found and corrected errors, run it again. Repeat until you get the "your disk appears to be ok" message. This rarely happens with my experience, though. This does the same thing as as booting from an external drive and running Disk Utility's repair. Only, no external drive is required!
Next, choose 2 or p to repair disk permissions. This will take a little while. AppleJack warns that it will take up to an half hour to run repair permissions. It'n never taken more than about ten minutes for my MacBook Pro.
As permissions are repaired, you will see each repair scroll on the screen. When done, the menu returns, choose q to quit. Then at the prompt, enter "exit" without the quotes. Your MacBook Pro should restart into Mac OS normally after this.

I cannot get .arw or jpeg files from my Sony A6000 to be taken into my Lightroom 4.4 via the normal "synchronise" process. I have updated my Pc to Adobe RAW/DNG 8.4 with no improvement. Can you help please?
With regards to your .arw files:
You need to either purchase and install Lightroom 5.4 -- OR -- download and install and use the FREE Adobe DNG Converter version 8.4, did you actually launch and use the DNG Converter?
There should be no problem importing JPG files into Lightroom from your camera, what happens when you try? Is there an error message? -

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts. Ever since she updated to the iPhone 5c, for some reason when she tries to update her apps, it comes up with my AppleID and asks for my password. I cannot figure out why this happening and how to fix this. Please help!
I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

I got my iphone & ipad many years ago. My ipad was stolen and I had to set up a new user ID for some reason. But all my old purchases are on my old ID. When I try to do the reset password it gives option for security question or email. Security question is my DOB which I obviously know but it tells me it is wrong. When it emails me, it doesn't show up in my inbox (maybe it was my old work address when I originally set it up). How can I get in so I can access to all the stuff I bought before my ipad was stolen? If you have a rescue email address on your account then have you checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well ? If you haven't (the reset email would go to your primary email address if you don't) or its not there, and you've tried requesting the reset email again, then try contacting Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset the email for you.

You can't merge accounts, nor transfer content between accounts. What you might be able to redownload will depend upon whether the items are still in your country's store (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), and if you've moved countries since buying them. What you can redownload will show in the Purchased tabs in store apps on an iOS device, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on a computer's iTunes. Redownloading an account's past purchases may tie a device or computer to that account for 90 days : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID. -
