Form 6i in browser not in applet viewer urgent plz

dear fellows i have problem running form 6i on web when i click the run form web icon from form builder it opens applet viewer not browser
and when i clik startup-program file-form 6i-run form from the web firstl i get errrcannot find the file c:'orant\tolls\web60\html\runform.htm (or one of its
componants). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.
if i press ok and pursu to the form and fill ins the name/passwore@service
and press run
then i get
Oracle Forms Web CGI: Error detected
Your request cannot be serviced at this time due to the following error:
ERROR: Error getting least loaded host from Load Balancer Server.

Swing applet looks different in browser than in applet viewer

I'm developing an applet using Net Beans 5.0. When I run the applet in the applet viewer I get a totally different look and feel than when I run the applet in a web broser. The background colors are different, the buttons are a totally different style and color, and some buttons that show up essentially transparent in the applet viewer are totally opaque in the browser.
The applet viewer is the one that looks like the interface that I designed in the Net Beans GUI builder, so can anyone tell me how I make it look the same in a Web Browser?

the cross-platform (java) look and feel changed dramatically between versions 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5.
however, if you use another look and feel, such as motif, or perhaps your system's look and feel (windows, mac, etc), the program should look pretty much the same (perhaps a little different, but not like the differences in the Java look and feel).
if you want to be COMPLETELY sure that they will always look the same, select a third party look and feel that comes packaged in a jar file that you are free to distribute with your applet.
Some good third party look and feels are JGoodies Plastic, and Incors Alloy. And there are others.
if you use one of those, it should look pretty well the same on all platforms, and in all JVM's.

Running forms within Browser, not as applet

I am running Developer/2000 Form Builder for Windows 95 / NT and application server 4.0.7 using the JInitiator. I want to run my form within the browser
window and not as an applet. I already tried the separate frame=false property in the html source, but that did not work for me. I would
appreciate any assistance.

Forms 4.5 only ran outside the browser.
Forms 6i can run in the browser.

You should upgrade to the newer versions of forms if you are planning to run on the web since there were many improvments in those versions for Web deployed forms.

Calendar in mobile browser not showing month view

I have a Calendar. I looked under Modify This View, and got the web address for this mobile view. When I bring up this url in a browser on an ipad/iphone, the calendar doesn't display in Month view. It only shows one day. very strange view. and only gives
me the option to go to the previous day or the next day. I tried Safari browser and Chrome browser. same issue.
How can I customize my calendar in sharepoint so that it will show the same month view on a mobile browser as the same month view that I see on SharePoint on computer?

Open your site in the iphone->at the bottom of the iphone, click ellipsis->then you can choose switch to pc view.
Now you can navigate to the calendar list, and you can see the month view.

You need Lightroom 4.1 or later.
OR you can download the free Adobe DNG Converter version 7.1, convert your RAWs to DNG and import those

I have r11.5.9 on AIX 5.2 i create one new AIX 5.3 server give same IP and copy all folder from 5.2 to 5.3 wiht exact path.
With same user i can open db+lsnr+apache on new 5.3 server But when i try to login EBS i can see login page also Ebuniess enter link but when i click it it thoruh 404 page can not found
In apache log file i have File does not exist: /oa_servlets/AppsLogin, i can not find pages under $COMMONTOP on 5.2 and my new 5.3 server. But on 5.2 i canlogin system wihtout any issue
All services start wihtout problem also db, i run autoconfig on appstier but when i try to run on dbtier it thotugh error:( I am not sure i need to run autoconfig on dbtier for upper erro)

Applet running in IDE's applet viewer but not within browser

Hello,
I have this applet which runs perfectly on JBuilder4's Applet viewer but when I access the HTML file which JBuilder generated as part of the applet creation the applet won't run.
The parameters in the applet tag in the HTML file are correct, i.e. the code attribute of this tag has as its value the correct class that implements the applet.
The only io operations associated with the applet are writing/reading objects to the socket's input/output stream, to communicate with a threaded server which has been started before running the applet. It all runs on the local host. So, I'm not sure it should be signed for it to run in the browser, should it?
I have tried several browsers, and have the latest java plug-in installed.
Any comments on this?

Works in applet viewer but not in internet explorer

I origionaly posted this on devshed. I got 55 views but no replies. It seems to be a common problem to which no one knows the answer. Surprise me :O)I'm sure this is a really common but there seems to be surprisinly litttle on the web about it.
I developed a game applet a while ago in applet viewer and am now thinking about putting it on my web site. However I have found that it doesn't work in internet explorer. I can browse other sites using Java fine. There is clearly just something about my applet that ie doesn't like.
Does anyone have any suggestions? What sort of things upset ie?

There must be some thing that tells you it isn't working. You should tell us so we don't have to guess. Does the browser hang? Do you get an error? Did you try opening the Java Console to see if there were any messages? I am guessing that your code is using something that the security level of an Applet does not allow (but appletviewer does allow).

Rather new in Java developpement, this topic should be peanuts for most of you.
I am using Oracle JDevelopper 11.
I have written a very simple applet which just display a text using the following code:
*public void paint(Graphics g){ g.drawString("I am talking to you !",40,40); }*
The html code calls the applet using the following code:
*<APPLET CODE="project1.Applet1.class" HEIGHT="200" WIDTH="600" ALIGN="bottom">This browser does not support Applets.</APPLET>*
Running the hmtl file in the applet viewer, result is as expected.
But running the html file using the server instance gives an error message which translation to English looks like the following:
Error: click to get more information.
The no java supported text is not displayed.
I have set my browser to the lowest security level in order to check for security matter.
No change.
Browser is IE 8
OS is Windows XP.

I guess something is wrong with Jdeveloper or there is something I don't understand (most likely ;-)).
Please correct me if I am wrong.
The directory structure build by Jdeveloper is the following:
Application name
Project name
classes
project name <<< my class is stored under this folder

html file calling my applet class
Calling Project1.Applet1 (as given as default when I create a java html file) in the html file give the following error message:
open HTTP connection failed:http://127.0.0.1:7101/Application2-Project1-context-root/Project1/Applet1.class
Calling Applet1 in the html file give the following error message: wrong name for applet Projet/Applet
It does not refer to an http connection problem.
Calling Project1/Applet1 gives the following
HTTP connection failed:http://127.0.0.1:7101/Application2-Project1-context-root/Project1/Applet1.class
So I am really puzzled.
And stucked.
Any hint ?

Could not load applet in a browser using jre 1.6.0_06

Hi,
I am facing problem with loading applets when the browser uses jre 1.6.0_06.
Not able to understand what actually the problem is, I tried to check with a small applet that would simply print Hello World on the java console. Even this applet also could not be loaded on the browser. I could load this applet in the test environment of eclipse, but not able to load it on the browser when the applet is deployed on Tomcat.
We have no problems in loading applet if the browser is using an earlier version of the jre.
One more thing we have found out that, if we change the SSL cipher suite of the ssl.conf file such that it can support weaker protocols, my applet works with jre 1.6.0_06 also.
But one thing we could not understand is that why changes in SSL cipher suite of the ssl.conf file creates problem in loading the applet, only in case the browser is using jre 1.6.0_06. I mean to say that changes in the SSL cipher suite does not create any problem in loading the applet if my browser is using an earlier version of jre 1.6.0_06.
Please help me out as I don't have any clue regarding this problem.

We have found a wor around for this problem.
The following option has been unchecked and the applet could be loaded.
Go to java control panel
Under the Advanced Tab
Under the Security section
Uncheck the last option "Use TLSv1.0".
This makes the applet work.
But could not understand as why this is creating a problem.
We have tried to include TLSv1.0 in the cipher suite of our apache server, while keeping the above option in java plugin control panel checked, but even that did not solve the problem.
Please help me of how should I proceed for this problem, as I am totally stuck.

AccessControlException when run in IE or Safari, but not Applet Viewer

My applet requires the use of a txt file as input. The txt file need only be read, and is always in the same directory as the class files and the web page the applet's running in. For a while now, there have been no problems with reading the txt file; however, recently, I've been getting a "java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission *insert filename here* read)" error. Furthermore, this error only comes up when I run the applet in Internet Explorer or Safari; when I run it in the applet viewer, it works perfectly. On top of this, when I went to the tutorial suspecting that the problem had something to do with thread management, I noticed that all three of the applets on page http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/essential/threads/index.html of the tutorial generated errors, which may or may not indicate that the problem lies in my browsers; frankly, I'm not sure. Any help that you people can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Applets can not read from the filesystem unless you set up policy or sign the applet (or both)

JMF works in Applet View, but in web browser, cannot find device

I'm developing an Applet which can capture image from a web camera.
It's working very well in the applet view, but it says "No devices" error message through web browser.
How can I make it work? How can I find device on the web browser?
I changed permission using "java JMFRegistry", and tried signed Jar.

I have this problem: I'm making a form that is not based on view object. From the Data Controls I can drag a view as a combo box, but I cannot drag a view as a ListOfValues ...
So I must create a non-SQL-based View and create attributes of my form and attach the LOV to one of the attributes ?
Is there another solution ?

Yes, input list of values must be model driven.
What we do is :
Create Dummy view as:
Select 1 as id,
null as code
from dual;
and we bind code with list of values view object.
