Form printing in a single page

Hi All,
We have developed a smartform , suppose in an internal table i am getting 3 records for these 3 records i am getting 3 pages in out . But i want to display these 3 pages in a single page.
My requriement is like this in a single page  i want to print 3 pages data . Please help me how to restrict the pages.
Regards,
Satyapalli.

Check your smartform, inside main window you will find command node, remove the command or un-check the tick box goto next page in your command.. it will solve your problem... now all data will be printed in single page, if it cannot fit single page then it goes to next page...
Close the thread once your question is answered.

  • Why can't I Print just a single page of a document, before this printer I could select to pint 1 pg

Everytime I print a doc, I can select to print a single page but right after that selection an HP print window opens and the only option is Start Printing or Cancle Printers. The upper border of the popup says " HP Officejet 6500 "

Thanks BDAqua. It seems so silly that it's so easy in other contexts, but it's good not to keep on trying something futile

  • Duplex printing switches to single page at a certain point in pdf file

    Hi everyone,
I have combined about ten separate pdf files into one complete pdf file for a client. The problem is that when they print the file using duplex printing, they're saying that at a particular point in the document it switches to single page printing instead of duplexing all the way through. It seems to be switching to this single page printing at the start of a particular section, ie. I mentioned that I had combined separate pdf files into the one document and it switches to the single pages where one of these separate documents start. I went back to the original Indesign file relating to this document and noticed that when I pdf this I can see the following in the range field that I assume is related to section numbering as the document contains sections:
    Range: +1-+12
The other pdfs that were used to create the combined file also have sections but the abovementioned numbering doesn't appear in the Range section like the problematic pdf I mentioned above.
Can someone tell me why the duplexing stops at this certain point? Does it have something to do with the section numbering as explained above? Also, I have tried to reproduce the issue from my end but mine is printing it perfectly well, i.e it duplexes all the way through, so could it be an issue with their printer or some setting they have? Or can I fix it somehow from my end by manipulating the original indesign file that has the sections?
    Really appreciate any help.

It's probably on their Printer setup. Sometimes if you set print for duplex then another Operator comes in and uses the same printer and assumes it's simplex printing it can print duplex or whatever the previous print setting was used.

  • Adobe forms prints part of one page 6 times on a sheet of paper

I am attempting to print a completed web based Adobe form and the 8.5x11 page prints part of  the page about 6 times on one sheet of paper.  This has happened before on Adobe documents and I was able to get around it by saving the PDF file (downloaded from a home utility website) then opening it in Adobe Reader XI and printing it.  This time I do not have the ability to save it since I filled out an Adobe form (the system will not let me save the completed form as a PDF file.)   My system:  iMac 27-inch Late 2009; OS:  OS X 10.9.4; Adobe Reader:  XI, version 11.0.07; Printer:  Canon Pixma MP490 (verified I have the latest drivers)
Print preview shows the document the way I would expect it to print.
The last time I called we never resolved the issue:  Apple points to the printer or Adobe, Adobe points to the computer or the printer, and Canon points to the computer or Adobe.

When I first open the form on the web it appears to be an Adobe file, but still on the web via Safari.
Even before I try to save the file there is a message at the top of the screen that reads, "Please fill out the following form.  You cannot save data typed into this form. Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records."  BUT, when I just saved a blank copy of the form to my desktop, opened it in Adobe Reader XI, filled in the form and then printed it the form printed nicely.  Problem resolved, or at least a work-around handles the problem easily
It is frustrating that I cannot print directly from the Adobe file via Safari; i.e., I have to experiment to find a solution instead of just hitting the print button (yes, I'm lazy!).
    Thank you!!

  • PDF forms "print" as totally blank pages

I am using a Mac running Mavericks. I have created a layout in InDesign, exported a PDF, then made form fields using Acrobat Pro XI. I then save the form using the "Enable More Tools" option so that people using Reader can save and print. The problem is that when people open, fill out and save the form using Acrobat Standard X, they cannot print the file. Pages do come out of the printer, but they are totally blank. No field data, no background form layout. Nothing. Right now, we are working around it by using the advanced > print as image setting out of Acrobat X, or by installing Reader XI. While these solutions work for our internal people, these files need to be sent outside of our company where we don't know what software will be used to fill them out.  As a side note, forms originally created in Acrobat Pro X print fine. This problem has appeared after I updated to Pro XI and other users ar still on Standard X.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any solutions that can be applied to the form PDF file itself, so we don't have to deal with software compatibility issues for outside users?
Thanks to anyone who may be able to provide insight on this issue.

I am having this same issue. I used photoshop to create my form layout, exported as pdf and imported into acrobat. I have tried a variety of different things (color modes, optimizing the pdf, different save modes, etc), none of them have worked. The only way to get the form to not print blank pages is setting to print in grayscale or print as image. You can't simply download the form, fill it out and press print. This solution is not viable for external people who use these forms.
I should note I have adobe acrobat 10 and the issue of printing blank pages only occurs in adobe reader 11. All other PDF reading programs (reader 10 and below and acrobat) work fine. I never had this issue before, only recently but my process for building forms hasn't changed.

  • Printer Spreads to single pages

Hello. I am a digital printer and am having an issue with printer spreds. I have customer who keeps submitting a booklet they need printed in printer spreds. However that is basically usless for me since I have a digital press with impostion software( xerox 700, fiery 8 and command workstation 5). I need this file in single page format. Is there any way to do that in acrobat x pro or indesign cs6. Normally I would tell the customer to resubmit it but there are too many time constraints this time( par for the course). Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Peter I appreciate it. You are exactly right. When I extract the pages the covers are sing 8.5x11 but the body pages are all 11x17(two pages on one sheet). Your solution of placeing the documents twice in indesign and just using the bounding box to crop out the uneccessary page seems to be the best way to go about it. Luckily the pamplet is only 8 pages long. I would have been up a creek  had it had a lot of pages.

  • Form / Report on a single page

Hi I'm new to APEX and I have been working on creating what I think to be a simple data entry form with a report that must appear on the same page. I've read tutorials and searched the forum. I'm very frustrated.
    Here's the details.
    APEX 3.0
    Create two regions-
    Form Region (on top) -
Report Region (bottom)- displays results from data entry and if possible show existing records.
The page is based on a table - Candidates
    Id_record (pk - auto generated)
    RFP_NO
    F_Name
    L_Name
    Project
    Selected (boolean)
    Contractor_Name
The user will enter a rfp_no and other candidate info as in the table above.
Click Add (Submit button - I have in the form region)
The new record is inserted into the table (this works)
The record does not appear in the report region.
The user may enter numerous candidates related to the same rfp number, I would like all candidates related to the rfp_no to appear in the report region.
On a related note I would like the page to display in the report region all records related to the rfp_no that may have been entered previously. so I need to find a on load process, I think.
The report region needs to be be editable as well, I've seen example of this as two separate pages but not one.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Moe

    Varinder,
I apologize for the delay in my response. I was temporarily put on another project.
Yes there is a where clause. Yes it refers to the rfp_no on the same page.
But the RFP_NO is not the PK.
Yet, your post pointed me in the right direction. I needed a valid sequence and trigger to get the expected results. Thank You so much!

  • Smart forms--print total on 1st page...

    hi friends...
i've a smartform...it is related to excise invoice..
on first page i've summery of  next n pages....getting it..?
so...on next pages there r several line items...
i need to print total of 'quantity' n total 'amount' of those on first page...
i've not tried it..but i am worried it wont execute as my first page is having summery only....
if u stil dont get my question  pls let me know.......

hey, if u r printing only summary on first page then u cant use the total feature of table in smartforms.
then u can do it by following way :
    1) add a program line before the text where u wanted to print total.
    2) loop that internal tbale which u will submit to tale in smartforms.
    3) get the total of that internal table in loop and assign to one variable and print that variable in TEXT.

  • Two SAPScript forms on a single page

    Hello
Is there a way (in SAPScript) to have two forms (sapscript forms defined in SE71) printed in a single page ?
What I would like to achieve is to have several sapscript forms defined in the system and to be able to combine them in a single page dynamicallly - I mean: the printing program would decide which of them should be output.
I have one sapscript form which I want to output always - it contains some header and main window with some items. Apart from this form I need to print some additional information on the same page.
This additional information may be formated in a few different ways - depending on the case. I need to include this info at the top of the page - formatted in one of possible ways mentioned. The rest of the page is always the same (some header and main window with items).
I know I could just use windows definitions in a single sapsript form and let the printing program decide which of those windows to print. But my problem is: I would like to have different sizes of the information printed at the top of the pages - when I define a window I must declare height which will be occupied on the page - I'd like to have different height values for different cases.
Is there a way to achieve that ?
    thanks in advance
    regards

    Hi,
    It is not possible.
But instead of creating sapscript, why dont you create different standard text and call in same sap-script based on condition.
You can create standard text in tcode so10. Its similar to editor in sap-script.

  • Export to PDF is not printing all the columns in one single page.

    Hi,
I have a report, I am exporting the report to PDF, but ALL the columns are not printing in a single page, It is getting printed 2 or more pages.
I am okay if I have a horizontal scroll bar or if the test size is reduced. Please see the recording and let me know whether it is possible.

Sorry sir, It is a slip of the tongue, I corrected my response already.
So it is defenitely possible to make ALL the columns appear in the same page in PDF regardless of how much width the report occupies?
If yes, can I see a horizontal scroll bar or the text will be shrinked to fit the page?

  • Is it possible to print a spread as single pages?

The file was created in InDesign CS5 and has to be saved as a .pdf. I want to view all of the spreads in the .pdf, but actually print them as single pages.

If the pages are exported to PDF as spreads, that's how they are going to print. You can export as single pages and set the initial view in Acrobat Pro so the file opens as spreads, with a single cover page if needed, but it won't look exactly the same as a true spread and it won't stop a user from changing the view.
Personally, I hate PDFs exported as spreads because they're really hard to navigate (same for two-column text meant to be read on screen).

  • Help With Printing Multiple Pages on Single Page

I am trying to print a calendar on a single 11x17 sheet of paper. Currently the size of the calendar is forcing the application to want to print 3 pages. I have a ministry requirement that requires the calendar to be printed in Arial size 16 font and print
on a single page. Is there any way to fit this document on to one page?
    Thank you

I would set it up with a landscape page size of 11x17. Insert tables for the calendar, floating if necessary. Insert the text. This is not using a calendar wizard or anything of the sort.
    Tables
Are we talking a week, a single month, two months, a quarter, four months, six months, or a year? Very much is going to be very crowded!
As an alternative, you could try setting it up for two portrait pages and then tell word to print two pages per sheet. You would lose some paper to wider margins this way. (I have only done this with 8-1/2 x 11 pages but the principle should be the same.)
This would require starting with an even larger font because Word would scale it. If you need exactly Arial 16 it may be tough to get.
p.s. I envy your ability to print on 11x17.

  • Setting up new book with single pages but facing preview and breaking up pages at print time

I have a new book to design.  Last time on a similar project (with 100 pages) I had a massive cry at print time as the printer wanted single pages with bleeds. I had set up the book with facing pages.  When I unchecked to non facing pages I lost all my formatting and margins...   I spent hours fixing this up.... I do need to show double spreads to the client as we go along and I do want to work in a mode that shows both left and right next to each other (ie in a book format).  What do you suggest? I have been looking at setting up as single pages side by side and then at print time I think I can move all my right hand pages over with the break up page function and then fix up all my bleeds manually.? thanks in advance

    lisalip schrieb:
no my printer needs 5mm bleed all around for the books I am doing and wants single pages with crops and bleeds
I will check the link and hope ok
I do prefer to design with facing pages but as I said it was a nightmare for me last time when setting for print
You confuse single pages with non facing document.
Every page has to be its own page. When your document has facing pages you have to set up a document with facing pages. There is no way around. Otherwise you will have problems with the left and the right page number and a lot of other issues.
If the printer needs single pages you have to export your document as PDF with single pages. That means deactivate the spread option in the PDF export dialog.
    Here I have an example:
    Situation:
In the 2 spreads on the top you don't have a problem when you export to a single page PDF. The bleed is taking material from the opposite page. It is ok and not disturbing.
But the bottom spread is different. Here you see a design break. It would be disturbing, if you take material from the opposite page. In many cases you would not realize it, but there are several situation where it might be a problem like glue or o-wire bindings where the bleed might become visible.
So you have to go to the page panel.
You have to select the spread first, then you go to the fly-out menu and select don't "allow selected spread to shuffle" pages. The numbers of the spread will appear in rectangle brackets.
Now you can drag the right (or left) page away from their counterpart on the spread. First you have to deselect any pages from that spread, so you can click on any thumbnail of any other page of any other spread. Then click on the right page of that spread. Only this pages has to be selected.
You see the icon of your curser changes as it is in the image above. Drag it as far as you see a thick vertical line. Then release sthe curser.
As result you have now seperate pages. You need only to extend the image, here on page 6. I have taken an image which is large enough, so I need only to move the image frame edge to the bleed.
When I export a single page PDF, as your printer wants I don't get problematic bleed from the opposite page.
You can download this example as IDML file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qnotrl1ihe7umh7/SinglePages-Spread%20Ordner.zip

  • Is there any way in Adobe Reader to limit printing to only one page at a time?

We have a large piece of internal knowhow in the form of a pdf document that we don't want users to be able to print in one go as it would risk the document leaving the premises. We are quite happy with users using print screen for single pages, but that doesn't really produce readable results.
So ideally we'd like users to be able to select print, but when they do it should only allow 'print current page' or just print the first chosen page instead of the whole selection. For instance, selecting pages 123 - 145 should only print page 123.
I've looked in to various areas already. We are delivering this document through a secured version of Adobe Reader via Citric application streaming, so are able to customise the config.js file any way we want, however I've looked through the Java Reference Guide and haven't been able to identify anything that might satisfy our requirement this.
I've also looked in to Document Actions such as "Document will print", but again (perhaps due to a personal lack of programming knowledge) am unable to find a way to fix the print option to a single page.
    Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Kaan

The sponsor is not happy for low res printing either. As an organisation we should be looking at DRM more closely, and we've added to the requirement with this problem. We are also going to look in to the option of attaching metadata and scanning that at our exit points (e-mail, printers, usb's, etc.) so that users have free reign internally but can't send sensitive documents out. Obviously it's all going to be very expensive!
    Cheers for the respones guys.
