Form Settings (Header) / Form Settings (Table format)

Hello,
Is there a way for me to ensure that all my end-users share the same form settings ?
Lets say that mine, as a manager is fully correct and that i want to apply the same form settings to my 50 users.
How could i do since i don't want to do it, computer by computer, 50 times.
Regards
Stephane

  • Table Format order and visibility in Form Settings keeps changing

    Dear Experts,
    We are facing a concurrent problem where there is constant change in the table format of the form settings in marketing documents.
    The columns order keeps changing and also the visibility box which will be ticked, becomes again unticked the next day for particular columns which are used.
    Event though it is set one time in manager login and locked the doc settings for other end users. The format keeps changing.
    It has to be set dially manually. Is  there a permanent solution for it .

  • Can the responses submitted from a pdf form be viewable in a table format in SharePoint?

    I created a pdf form with Acrobat X. My plan it to upload the form to SharePoint and allow users to use this form to submit "help desk" type issues. However, I have a virtual team that need to view the responses in a table format so they can filter and sort the growing list of responses. Acrobat seems to only allow me to save the "response" file on my own desktop, not SharePoint. Is there a way for the responses to be stored and viewed in a SharePoint workspace so that members of the virtual team can view and sort the users' responses in a table format?

    Yeah that's the best bet, though if you don't want to make a bunch of fields, you can also just save it with the Typewriter tool enabled in Acrobat (Tools > Typewriter > Enable Typewriter Tool in Adobe Reader).  Then, the person viewing it will get a little typewriter tool that they can use.  I think they have to have version 9 of Adobe Reader.
    But it looks the best to add in all the fields individually.
    Hope that helps,
    Phyllis

  • Header and Item table - Form Design Question

    Hi All,
    I have a header table and Item table. For every record in the header table I have multiple records in the item table. I want to have a adobe form in the following way
    1. A new page starts for every record in the header table and Items in the item table for this header record can span multiple pages with the same header information.
    2. When all the items are displayed for that particular header record, a new page should start for the next header record.
    I created one internal table in the following way
    Header_field1 Header_field2 Item_table(with all the items for this header record)
    Header_field1 Header_field2 Item_table(with all the items for this header record)
    I am not sure how to use a table for this scenario (Should It be a nested table?).
    Please provide me some ideas.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh.

    Hi Balasubramani,
    I made some changes and have the following now. Can you please let me know how I can achieve page break for every BP_NUMBER.
    I have a nested table like the one below.
    Main table u2013 Has header and Items information. Every header record has some header information like BP number, name and all line items for that BP in a nested table .
    IT_HEADER:
    BP_NUMBER     BP_NAME           IT_ITEMS(Items table)
    BP_NUMBER     BP_NAME           IT_ITEMS
    BP_NUMBER     BP_NAME           IT_ITEMS
    To display this information I created the following
    Subform1 u2013 overflow u2013bound to $record.IT_HEADER.DATA[*] u2013 (Repeat sub form for
    |                                             each data item)
    |->Header sub form u2013 Positioned
    |     |
    |     |-> Text Field u2013 bound to BP_NUMBER
    |
    |
    |->Item sub form -
         |
         |->Item Table u2013 bound to IT_ITEMS
              |
              |->Data u2013 bound to IT_ITEMS.DATA[*] u2013(Repeat row for each data item)
    In the output BP number in the first record of IT_HEADER gets displayed and then all the Item records in IT_ITEMS for that BP get displayed. This is repeated all the records in IT_HEADER which is perfectly fine.
    Please provide me some suggestions to solve the following issues I am having
    1.     I need a page break between records of IT_HEADER. I want the new subform1 for the next header record to start in a new page. I tried conditional break option, on the only field BP number in header sub form. I have two master pages and two body pages. All the above information is in master page 2 and body page 2.  I am also not sure what to select in the TO section of the conditional break screen.
    2.     When there is an overflow in IT_ITEMS I need the Header sub form to be shown in the next page too.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh.

  • Rendering User Forms not in a table format

    IHAC who does not want to render their forms into the standard Identity Manager table format. They want to embed their content on Identity Manager forms as HTML displayclasses and then render the fields into the browser as is.
    How much effort is involved in making this type of modification?
    Which class(es) need to be modified?
    The customer is using:
    Identity Manager 5.5 installed into IBM WebSphere 5.1 on Solaris 9 OS.

    You can mix IDM form fields (Text, Check Boxes) with HTML fields.
    For example:
    <Field name='TD_start'>
    <Display class='Html'>
    <Property name='html' value='<td>'/>
    </Display>
    </Field>
    <Field name='myTextField'>
    <Display class='Text'/>
    </Field>
    <Field name='TD_end'>
    <Display class='Html'>
    <Property name='html' value='</td>'/>
    </Display>
    </Field>
    This lets you mix static HTML strings (TD_Start, TD_end) with the IDM fields (myTextField). As this in stored in your Forms, upgrades to the JSP files will not affect the layout.
    How much work it is depends on how fancy you need the HTML to be.

    To all experts,
    When I run report by calling run_report_object() in forms, only html format can show chinese characters. If I choose pdf format, garbage characters were shown instead of chinese characters. My settings on server are as follows:
    NLS_LANG=TRADITIONAL CHINESE_HONG KONG.UTF8
    FORMS60_REPFORMAT=PDF
    Do you know why? I hope to print report in PDF format as PDF turned out to be more regular in format. Is there any additional settings required?
    May experts here broaden my mind?

    Assuming that you are using version 6i, try using Oracle9i Reports it has support for multi-byte in PDF.
    By the way, Reports questions will get better response if you send them on the reports forum.

    You have two different ways of generating Japanese PDF files from Reoprts. One is font aliasing and the other is font subsetting.
    <font aliasing>
    You will need to have the following entries in uiprint.txt (example).
    [ PDF ]
    .....JA16SJIS = "KozMinPro-Regular-Acro"
    "MS UI Gothic".....JA16SJIS = "KozMinPro-Regular-Acro"
    You may need to download and install Japanese Font Pack from Adobe's web site (if your Acrobat is non-Japanese version).
    <font subsetting>
    You will need to add C:\WINNT\Fonts (or wherever your TTF/TTC fonts are installed) to your REPORTS_PATH.
    You will also need to have the following entries in uiprint.txt (example).
    [ PDF:Subset ]
    "Andale Duospace WT J" = "Aduoj.ttf"
    "Albany WT J"="AlbanWTJ.ttf"
    "MS UI Gothic" = "msgothic.ttc"

  • Diff. btwn Form Template & Table?

    Hi Guys,
    Wat r the differences between Template and Table(if possible with example)? Pls. list out.
    Thank you.

    In SAP SmartForms, templates (from template node) define the format of the columnar output but they are just structures which can used to set how the columns in the output are placed. Whereas as tables actually contain rows to hold data. The Template contains a fixed number of rows and columns, where the output is fixed. The Table can have variable number of rows
    The application data is selected in the application program and transferred to the form using the form interface. In contrast to the template node, the table node has another tab called the Data tab. On this tab, you enter the internal table whose data is to be output. The data is read to a work area in row format.
    The table layout is determined using row types (this is same for templates).
    A header area (for table headers), main area (for items of the table), and footer area (for whole sums, or similar) are table output areas. Table rows are created as subnodes of these areas.

    import went fine, but when I ran the IR page I got
    ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00904: : invalid identifier
    evidently the problem is a lack of public execute on DBMS_LOB, which is used in the generated IR source.
    while waiting for the DBA to grant privs on DBMS_LOB, changing the dbms_lob.getlength call to length() fixes the IR.
    however, i am not getting the download link on the associated form page... changed templates, that's not the issue -- we'll see if that's a dbms_lob issue as well

    Looks like there is a 127-column limit on the number of report columns supported when using that wizard. Do you have more than that?

    hi,
    smart form to pdf--
    All you have to do is call your SF to get OTF and then concert it to PDF. Works like charm:
    DATA: p_output_options TYPE ssfcompop,
    p_control_parameters TYPE ssfctrlop.
    p_control_parameters-no_dialog = 'X'.
    p_control_parameters-getotf = 'X'.
    CALL FUNCTION v_func_name "call your smartform
    EXPORTING
    output_options = p_output_options
    control_parameters = p_control_parameters
    IMPORTING
    job_output_info = s_job_output_info.
    call function 'CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF'
    tables
    otf = s_job_output_info-otfdata
    lines = t_pdf
    and if u need more u can check below links also

  • Invalid number error with Form on table page

    We used the "Form on Table..." wizard to create a simple page to update the SCOTT.EMP table. When we submit the page we get the ORA-01722: invalid number error. When I view the data in the WWV_FLOW_DATA view in the FLOWS_010500 schema, I can see all the data from our form in long format with the actual values that were submitted. But I can not track down where this error is coming from.

    James,
    What data did you enter in each field? Could it be as simple as you tried to enter character data into the deptno column?
