Please let mew know how to configure form24Q please let me know the steps to configure and also doc on form24q and form 16 and what the difference between for16 and form24q

Hi Girish,
SAP has provided standard reports for Form24Q and Form16. You need not make any configurations for these reports. You can use by providing the inputs in selection screen like employee number etc.
Form 24Q: HINCF24Q
Form 16: HINCF160
Form 24Q is to generate e-file and print, for the selected employees. Where as Form 16 helps to print the income, deductions and tax details of theemployee for the financial year.

Form16

Hi
We are testing the Form 16 in a test server by providing the 12 months data. Maintained and activated the Ack nos in pe03 for 2008 But the ack nos not triggering in the Form 16.
Similarly maintained the data for Form 24, removed the check for Temse file executed the Form24 program, maintained the challan detils, but the tax deduction details not triggered in the page 3 of Form 16.
Any notes or support packs need to apply, pls advice

Hi,
For the current financial year Apr2008 to Mar 2009 SAP has changed the program for Challan mapping
If you are using a Standard SAP program for Form24Q generation you are mapping the Challan for each Qtr using Tcode PC00_M40_CMAP
This Challan mapping records will be used in form16, Pls check up with SAP if they have released and Note to consider the Challan mapping data instead of Temse File

No manual signature in Form16

Team,
End-User team is not interested in manual sign in Form16.
Is there any way to avoid this in Form 16 ?
Is the computerized sign is acceptable by Indian Govt?

Change the description of the line in the EMOLUMENTS PAID in the FORM16

Hello Seniors,
A small issue regarding the change the name of the FIXED DA to DEARNESS ALLOWANCE in the EMOLUMENTS PAID in the FORM16.
my client asked me to change the description of the DA.
how can i change this, programm HINCF160 is SAP STANDARD it is not changeable.

Custom Adobe Forms in FORM16 output

Dear Sapgurus,
I have a requirement to change the adobe forms output in FORM16 PDF output.
In standard output PDF will contain annexure to Form 16 as fifth page .We don't need that fifth page in output.
So we tried to create a custom Adobe form without the annexure but unable to get PDF output with custom adobe form.
We are able to get the PDf output with 5 pages if we used the standard adobe form .Is there any other way to restrict the fifth
page.
Kindly provide me some info whether we need configure apart from ADS settings or how to restrict the fifth page alone ?.

Error in Form16 taken through ESS.

Experts,
While accessing Form16 through ESS, system shows an error. The error key is as follows:
Screen output without connection to user.                           , error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
I check the Java connections and its working fine and there is no problem with the display of salary statement in ESS.

yes. I have checked ST22 and found the run time error. it shows as follows

Error analysis
    During background processing, the system attempted to send a
    screen to a user.
    Current screen: "SAPMSSY0 " 0120.
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND" " "
"SAPMSSY0" or " "
"SYSTEM-EXIT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)

Form16 Table Name

Hi Experts,
As per my understanding, to generate Form16 for Indian Legislation the steps are:
1. Run "End of Year Archival (India)" to acrhieve the data
2. Run "Employee Annual Tax Returns (India)" to get Form16
Question:
What is the table name in which the form16 data is stored after archiving?
My requirement is:
To get all data that appears on Form16, in Excel sheet.
Its very very urgent for me.

Never worked on IN legislation mate.. else would have given you the exact data.
But the very reason that you are running the 'End of Year Archival (India)' process before running Form16 shows that the data is picked from the archive table.
Not sure if all the data is being archived in the table, as it depends on each legislation to store relevant data.
Go to Flexfield --> Descriptive --> Segments
Search for Title - 'Action Information DF'
You can see all the context fields ( 'IN%' and some generic ones might also be used for IN )
Search for the segments which store the data you want.
You can also look at the Java program PayINIncomeTaxAnnualReturns to see the exact code.

Please can you guide me who to create web tools using SE80.i dont have any knowledge in webdynpro.
Here i am working as ABAP programmer. We also want to use ESS service.
here is my requirement.
there is one Tcode PC00_M40_F16 .this is form 16 .when ever he want to see his form16 we need to show . We able to show it ,but the problem is one can see other's form16.
we are planing to create some custom Tcode or Function module which will use this TCODE internally.
We have to restrict one person such that ,he can able to see his own form16.

How to include Mar 2007 salary in Form16 for 2008

Hi Experts,
I want to include Mar 2007 salary in Form16 for 2008. How is it possible.
In legacy system March salary was paid in April so the yearly period of payment was from Mar-Feb, currently employees have paid ITax upto Feb, so I want to include the remaining March 2007 salary in F16 of 2008, inorder to streamline the process with standard.

I don't want to do any customization, but since the salary of March is paid on 1st April in legacy system, it should come in Form 16 of 2008.

Hi all,
I am planning to include the amount in wagetype /4MI "Monthly taxable income" of Mar 2007 payroll in IT0267 "Add Offcycle payments" in Apr month, but employee won't be paid and also there won't be any posting. In this way the amount will come in F16 as prev. yr arrears ( I've used a wagetype with Evaluation class 6 value equal to 24 ).
Please advise, whether i m doing right or not.

Hello buddies,
Is there a *new note released to take care of F4 help on the main screen of Form 16?
We have applied all the required notes, however, when we are testing the Form 16, we are unable to upload the temse file for data on Page 3 of Form 16. This is because there is no F4 help on the main screen.
Please someone help as this is a very important requirement from the client side and we are stuck with the testing.

FORM16 in Portal ESS throws error message

Hi All,
       While trying to click on FORM16 in Portal ESS, it throws below error.
       "No data has been found for the specified selection."
       Required permissions have been provided ADS is also configured.
       while executing t-code :hressin_f16 it shows PDF form in R/3 for 2010 to 2011.
       At the same time in R/3 while we execute for 2009 to 2010 period it throws a message No data has been found for the specified selection.
        what i think is its picking for the year 2009 to 2010 instead of 2010 to 2011. so what should we do now.
      Can any one suggest on this.

Call transaction SA38 and enter the name FP_TEST_00.
Choose Execute (F8). A dialog box is displayed.
Enter FP_TEST_00 in the field Form.
Enter the name of the connection to the ADS. Enter the default name ADS,
In the dialog box, choose Output in Print Preview.
Enter an appropriate device type in the field Output Device.
Choose Print Preview.

Please maintain the follwogin three steps in config.
1. Assign form in SM30 - J_1IEWTCERT
- Assign form for company code, section code, Tax code wise.
2. Later Assign number ranges for the number range groups at
Financial Accounting --> Financial Accounting Global Settings --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholding Tax --> Postings --> India --> Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendors and Customers --> Assign Number Ranges to Number Groups
3. Maintain Number Ranges
Financial Accounting --> Financial Accounting Global Settings --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholding Tax --> Postings --> India --> Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendors and Customers --> Maintain Number Ranges
This must help you out.
