Format problem [email address removed by host]

We  formated our computer and we need to set up Adobe premiere CS5 to our computer again. We don't have the set up CD, although we have the licence number. We can not set up the Adobe premiere CS5 . We need set up trial file to use licence number for this product. What can we do for set up?

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

That's not how it works. This is a public forum, not Adobe customer service or a lost password facility. Nobody can tell you passwords not even Adobe staff.

  • Email address removal from iPhone

Back on an iPhone.... With my original iPhone if I sent an email with a 'bum' address... it stayed in the iPhone system. There was no way for removal other than resetting the iPhone. Is this still the case?
    Thank you.

Yes, this is still the case - the only way to clear the email address autofill cache is to restore the phone and set it up as new (not from backup).
You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

  • Copying format of email addresses

    Dear all,
This is a very minor issue, but it's a bit annoying nonetheless. It seems that with Snow Leopard, the format that you get when copying a contact's address (for example from the "To:" field of a new email you're composing) and pasting it somewhere has changed from the raw address (i.e. "[email protected]") to the full address info (i.e. "Tim Metz <[email protected]>").
Is there any way to switch this back as I use this quite a lot and 99% of the time I need just the address and not the brackets, full name, etc.
    Thanks and regards,
    Tim Metz

Thanks for the answer. It's pretty strange though cause I use that a lot and I'm quite sure it wasn't like that before Snow Leopard.
And I know it's a very small thing, but I use it a lot to share contacts with people, send invitations on social networks and other online stuff, etc. and usually in those things it's best to just have the raw email address without all the extra info (the naming in my address book is not necessarily what I would like to share with other people
Anyway, very minor stuff, in dutch we call my behavior "ant f*cking"
    Regards,
    Tim

  • Format of email address when pasted from Address Book

I am trying to send bulk emails using my Address Book. The records have been imported by via a text file where the email address appears correct. In Address Book all the email addresses are fiormatted correctly. However, when a group is imported into a 'To' field in Mail, some of the addresses are changed, like this:
    John Doe <[email protected]>
    instead of simply
    [email protected]
Mail rejects all of the addresses which include the name and the characters.
Why are they appearing when they do not appear
    a) in my database source
    b) in my text file exported from the database
    c) in the corresponding record card in Address Book?

Okay, I suspect you are giving the mail program a bunch of email addresses with extra commas.
    Do this:
    Open Address Book
    Open Mail
    Select New Message
with your mouse drag an email address from the Address book and drop it in the BCC line
Do that for all the addresses without manually adding commas. (Mail hides the commas when the addresses are in the Address Book. It just shows the first and last name in an oval.)
Or if this is a list you will be using a lot, in Address Book, make a new group and drag the address cards into the group and then in Mail put the group name in the BCC line.

  • Resume use of another active email address removed from accounts page

    Greetings Mozilla team,
My Tbird A/c started as [email protected] (in Australia)
I then added [email protected], hosted by direcNIC.
Then I deleted reference to the first name in the TB Accounts information window.
Since directNIC now seems to have disappeared, and my websites are in limbo, I would like to resume use of the still current bigpond address, but can't find out how to do this.
Bigpond themselves had no trouble mailing me recently, using their [email protected] address.
Messy to describe, but should be easy to fix. I hope you can suggest the way.
    Thanks and Cheers,
    Mike Moran

Last Mike Moran I knew sold Real Estate in Macksville.
But more to the point. I am assuming you got an email from the plod in Thunderbird, which indicates you only sort of got rid of it.
So, to see what is an is not configured. Please post the Account information from the troubleshooting information on the help menu in Thunderbird. That is copy to clipboard and paste. All of it or just the account information.

  • Problems Emailing to Web Gallery From Camera Phone

I have a Sony Ericcson camera phone that has a mail client which I have set up to use GMail for both incoming and outgoing mail. I can't seem to get Web Gallery to accept the picture emails I send from the phone. The only thing I can conclude is that the server accepting the emails has problems parsing the message. I can use my desktop computer to send the image to Web Gallery, so it's there's nothing wrong with the image itself. I've also tried configuring my phone to use an AT&T mail server to send the picture, but have the same problems, so it's not the mail servers. I've also sent a full sized image (2 megapixels) as well as a small version (640x480) to see if it's related to file size, but they fail as well. Interestingly enough, I can send videos that I take from my phone to Web Gallery and it gets posted, so I figure it's not the phone.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I've included the failure notice email I get back from the Web Gallery mail servers below if it can help diagnose the problem. Thanks.

After many trial and errors, I figured out that the web gallery mail servers were choking because the filenames my phone gives photos have capital ".JPG" extensions. If I change them to lowercase, the pictures get posted. Unfortunately, I can't rename the files inside the phone and need to transfer them out to my mac via bluetooth before I can rename it. To solve the problem for myself, I created an email address on another hosted website that pipes mail to a script that rewrites the problematic portions before sending it to my web gallery. It's somewhat of a roundabout way of doing it, but it works for now.
Hopefully the web gallery mail servers will be corrected to handle this situation.

  • What are valid and invalid email address characters

What are valid and invalid email address characters in Exchange 2010, for example can you have Conan.O'[email protected] is there a document that shows the valid and invalid sysmbols?

    Hi
The format of email addresses is
local-part@domain where the local-part may be up to 64 characters long and the
    domain name may have a
maximum of 253 characters - but the maximum 256 characters length of a forward or reverse path restricts the entire email address to be no more than 254 characters.[1]
The formal definitions are in RFC 5322 (sections 3.2.3
and 3.4.1) and RFC 5321 - with a more readable form given in
    the informational RFC 3696[2]
    and the associated errata.
    Local part
The local-part of the email address may use any of these
    ASCII characters
    RFC 5322 Section
    3.2.3:
Uppercase and lowercase English letters (a–z, A–Z) (ASCII: 65-90, 97-122)
    Digits
    0 to
    9 (ASCII: 48-57)
    Characters
    !#$%&'*+-/=?^_`{|}~ (ASCII: 33, 35-39, 42, 43, 45, 47, 61, 63, 94-96, 123-126)
    Character
. (dot, period, full stop) (ASCII: 46) provided that it is not the first or last character, and
provided also that it does not appear two or more times consecutively (e.g. [email protected] is not allowed.).
Special characters are allowed with restrictions. They are:
    o
    Space and
    "(),:;<>@[\] (ASCII: 32, 34, 40, 41, 44, 58, 59, 60, 62, 64, 91-93)
The restrictions for special characters are that they must only be used when contained between quotation marks, and that 3 of them (The
    space, backslash \ and
quotation mark " (ASCII: 32, 92, 34)) must also be preceded by a backslash
    \ (e.g.
A quoted string may exist as a dot separated entity within the local-part, or it may exist when the outermost quotes are the outermost characters of the local-part
    (e.g. abc."defghi"[email protected] or
    "abcdefghixyz"@example.com are allowed. Conversely,
abc"defghi"[email protected] is not; neither is
abc\"def\"[email protected]). Quoted strings and characters however, are not commonly used.
    RFC 5321 also
warns that "a host that expects to receive mail SHOULD avoid defining mailboxes where the Local-part requires (or uses) the Quoted-string form".
The local-part "postmaster" is treated specially - it is case-insensitive, and should be forwarded to the server's administrator. Technically all other local-parts
are case sensitive, therefore [email protected] and [email protected] specify different mailboxes. However most organizations treat uppercase and lowercase letters as equivalent, and also do not allow use of the technically valid characters
(space, ? and ^). Organizations are free to restrict the forms of their own email addresses as desired, e.g.,
    Windows Live Hotmail,
for example, only allows creation of email addresses using alphanumerics, dot (.), underscore (_)
    and hyphen (-).[3]
Systems that send mail must be capable of handling outgoing mail for all valid addresses. Contrary to the relevant standards, some defective systems treat certain
legitimate addresses as invalid and fail to handle mail to these addresses. Hotmail, for example, refuses to send mail to any address containing any of the following standards-permissible characters:
    !#$%*/?^`{|}~
    Domain part
The domain name part of an email address has to conform to strict guidelines: it must match the requirements for a
    hostname,
consisting of letters, digits, hyphens and dots. In addition, the domain part may be an
    IP address
literal, surrounded by square braces, such as jsmith@[192.168.2.1], although this is rarely seen except
    in email spam.
    Examples
    Valid email addresses
    <tt>[email protected]</tt>
    <tt>[email protected]</tt>
    <tt>[email protected]</tt>
    <tt>much."more\ unusual"@example.com</tt>
    <tt>very.unusual."@"[email protected]</tt>
    <tt>very."(),:;<>[]".VERY."very@\\\ \"very"[email protected]</tt>
    Invalid email addresses
<tt>Abc.example.com</tt> (an @ character must separate the local and domain parts)
<tt>[email protected]</tt> (character dot(.) is last in local part)
<tt>[email protected]</tt> (character dot(.) is double)
<tt>A@b@[email protected]</tt> (only one @ is allowed outside quotation marks)
<tt>a"b(c)d,e:f;g<h>i[j\k][email protected]</tt> (none of the special characters in this local part
    is allowed outside quotation marks)
<tt>just"not"[email protected]</tt> (quoted strings must be dot separated, or the only element making
    up the local-part)
<tt>this is"not\[email protected]</tt> (spaces, quotes, and backslashes may only exist when within
quoted strings and preceded by a slash)
<tt>this\ still\"not\\[email protected]</tt> (even if escaped (preceded by a backslash), spaces, quotes,
and backslashes must still be contained by quotes)

  • Unwanted outdated email address in my profile on Apple Concierge page, why?

My profile in Apple concierge has and shows an unwanted outdated email address that is not in my Apple ID profile.
Whenever I register for an workshop, Apple sends workshop confirmation to that unwanted email address, which is not in my Apple ID profile.
Support Teams, both online and at the Genius Bar, had tried hard but were unable to edit it, or remove it from my profile in Apple concierge, or replace it with an email address currently in my Apple ID profile.
Why, and how and where else can I get help to get it fixed?
By the way, I don't have multiple Apple ID's - just one.
    Thank you.

Good news, everybody who has the same problem.
Today I finally got it fixed and confirmations on my 3 newly registered workshops were sent to my Apple ID email address and my profile on the Apple Concierge page finally got the outdated email address removed and replaced.
Weeks after the iTune Apple Support Team told me they were not able to find my outdated email address in their system and that I had to talk to people at Apple Store, I finally got some one in the store who took what the iTune Apple Support Team said seriously and agreed to get a technician look into THEIR workshop registration system .   She said it would get fixed but not immediately.
From then on, each time when I registered for a workshop, I kept attaching a note in the "comment" box telling them they were keeping and using my outdated email address,  which is no longer in my Apple ID profile, and requested that old email address be removed from their system and confirmations be sent to one of the email address in my Apple ID.
At the same time, I put a block to all emails from Apple Concierge in my outdated
email address so that each time they sent a workshop confirmation to that address, they got a bounce from Mailer-DAEMON, which reminded them to check my profile in their system.
About a month today,  the problem is solved - my heartfelt thanks to the Apple workshop instructor/manager Vivian at Oakridge Center, Vancouver, who took my complaint seriously,  and the technician who looked into the problem and got it fixed.
So, guys, just be patient and persistent.  And best of luck!

  • Web address & email address

I am in the process of migrating my business over to .Mac and iWeb and wonder how people are handling the issue that the .Mac web address format and email address format look the same - or at least I think they do. On the website it is clear which is which as you can use the email button but on business cards / letterheads its as if you must title which is which.
It could be I am not understanding something here so input is appreciated.
Also - very impressed with the ease of iWeb to set up thus far - we'll see as we go to publish.

musiccomposer - you may just get the BINGO award Some of these web hosts are INEXPENSIVE and offer gobs of storage, data transfers, free domain registration for life - wow. iWeb is easy to use but there appear to be some other programs that may be as good or better.
I've debated this whole .Mac membership / sync / iDisk / integrated approach and have tried to focus on the Apple solution. However, the time has come to get what I need and it may well not involve .Mac going forward. Too many $$$ and too few features.
    Stay tuned...........

  • Does anyone have an email address for someone who cares at Verizon Wireless?

I have had enough with Verizon Wireless and their lack of service and NO WAY to contact tech support. Which of you brave people will speak up and answer this question? Any way to get answers on ANYTHING to do with lack of phone service, no connection, weak signal/no signal, lack of coverage, etc. Why am I having to ask this question in a "community" forum? Why isn't there a link on this useless website for something other than spending money, buying new equipment, upping my contract? Should any company's customers have to use a forum and speak their mind or go to Facebook or Twitter for support. (Which by the way is just another forum and a pacifier.)
