FrameMaker not resolving Paths

I am having problems with FrameMaker's ability to "Update Document To use New Path" on a consistent basis.
Our FrameMaker documents pull graphics from multiple directories and I fully expected each file, when opened after the move, to ask for missing files. What I didn't expect was that it would ask for every image even though they are all located in the same directory!
I have read the post about tossing everything in one directory with the FrameMaker file itself but this is not an option since we have strict policies against this.
Some of the FrameMaker documents do resolve the pathing issue after selecting the new path for the first instance of a missing graphics image, thus automatically remapping the rest; which is what is expected. What confuses me is that some FrameMaker documents wont, rather I am forced to identify the same Directory (same UNC server path etc.) for every image in the file as though FrameMaker has no recollection of what I previously told it.
Ideas?

I get the same results in 7.2 build p158 and 8.0 build p273.
Windows XP 64bit edition SP2.

Its working now, I assumed it wasn't working by looking at the logs. Accessing the rulebase "/JBossPOC/startsession/JBossPOC/" - i could see that plugin is working.
Do i need to make any other changes to remove the following warnings ?

Path to includes are not resolving when define is used

in a Php document path to a class specified with a string resolved without a problem:
require_once ( './classes/class.php' );
However, if a defined variable is used, the path does not resolve and Dreamweaver doesn't help with method hints:
define ( CLASS_DIR . './classes/' );
require_once ( CLASS_DIR . 'class.php' );
As a note, CLASS_DIR might not be defined in the same document, bu linked from another one that contains the define:
require_once ( './config.php' ); //contains define ( CLASS_DIR . './classes/' );
As I use defined paths, I can take no advantage of Dreamweaver's hints.

Sounds that you have cleanup or other security software that cause corruption of the file places.sqlite
You need to check the settings of your software and make sure that you exclude the Firefox Profile Folder to avoid such problems.

When using a dblink, the database with the link is acting as a client to the remote database ... exactly like sqlplus running on the db server.

Hi,
There was a bug on our side in the example since we updated
the namespace recently in last release. So, in the application tag
in Flexternal.mxml you need to specify xmlns:rtc="AfcsNameSpace"
instead of "CocomoNameSpace" . and the error will be fixed. I am
also attaching the entire code with the update in case you need it.

This is what i get with the latest Air 3.6 Beta SDK with a mobile project !
FB 4.7 shows the <mx:Transition> potential match but not the <s:Transition>. Its the same for all the other errors it shows the potential matches

Error "Could not resolve s:ViewNavigatorApplication to a component implementation...", after overlaying with AIR SDK 13.0

Just installed FB 4.7, overlayed with AIR SDK 13.0, started FlexMobileProject and I get this error "Could not resolve <s:ViewNavigatorApplication> to a component implementation...", which I can't get rid of. Tried 3-4 times, error stays.
I overwrote the Flex sdk 4.6.0 with Air SDK 13.0.
Is this a bug? Please help.

I replied to this under the thread name "Component Implementation problem" where yuo posted the same question. In case you missed that, my answer was:
horizontalAxisRenderers is a property of CartesianChart (and hence of course any descendants). In the example under the AxisRenderer class in the Adobe docs it shows how <mx:horizontalAxisRenderers> is used as an array container for the actual renderer itself

In terms of designing an MXML file you can only legally add the <mx:horizontalAxisRenderers> element within a chart of some kind. Personally I find it easier to think of the class structure by thinking about how to do it in ActionScript. Here you would create your actual renderer object of type AxisRenderer, then create an ordinary Array and push the new AxisRenderer into it, then set the horizontalAxisRenderersproperty of your chart to opint to the Array. So horizontalAxisRenderers is "secretly" just an array, not anything with real functionality.

Hey all,
A former employee developed a very nice Flash UI for our company's front page. I have taken his role since he left and was recently tasked with altering some of the code. The source code I have on file for this UI, when loaded in Flash Builder 4 using the 3.5 SDK, does not run flawlessly. Without changing any code, the application will not run. It gives me the error: "Could not resolve <ilog:BrazilMap> to a component implementation."
If I click "Proceed with Launch" at the error screen, everything runs fine, however I cannot "Export a Release Build" until this error is resolved.
Here's the namespaces found at the top of CountriesMap.mxml (where the error occurs):

Thanks for the rapid reply Ubuntu! Since the live version runs on the server, I assume the libraries are stored somewhere on the server. Where in the code would it indicate where the libraries are stored? I assume it must have a directory path listed somewhere, but I can't find? :-/

It compiles preopely through flash Builder but gives the error : "Could not resolve <s:ViewNavigatorApplication> to a component implementation" when compiling with ant. ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve... - sql plus works, env vars are set...

I am getting this error message in my ASP.Net apps (namespace Oracle.DataAccess.Client) and any app that tries to use the Oracle Provider for OLE DB.
Error:
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
Here is what I do know:
- My ORACLE_HOME is set to C:\oracle\product\11.1.0\client_1\
- My path has C:\oracle\product\11.1.0\client_1\network\admin;C:\oracle\product\11.1.0\client_1\bin;
- I installed Oracle Client 11g, previously 10g was working but one of the devs wanted to upgrade
- I can connect using sqlplus user/pass@tnsname
- I can test tns entries successfully in Net Manager
Here is what I don't know:
- When using OLE connections, why does Oracle Provider for OLE DB not pick up on the environment variables - sql plus seems to, that's why it works.
- In ASP.Net, why does the connection object from Oracle.DataAccess.Client not pick up the correct environment variables?
- How do the Oracle drivers pick up the location of the TNS names?

Hi,
What "environment variables" are you referring to that you have set? You shouldnt have to set any, unless you're talking about TNS_ADMIN just to avoid having to configure multiple TNSNames.ora's if you have multiple homes.
Your PATH doesnt need to include OH\network\admin, but thats not hurting anything. PATH is for dll loading, not for finding config files.
Do you still have 10g installed? When you connect using sqlplus user/pass@tnsname, are you using 11g sqlplus? Or is that coming from the 10g client? Multiple homes arent aware of each other, so if you have a 10g home and an 11g home, you'd have to configure tnsnames.ora for both (or use tns_admin).
As far as I know, the client software picks up tnsnames.ora by checking:
1) the local working directory
2) the tns_admin directory
3) the network\admin directory of the client home being used.

Flex - could not resolve something?

Hi, I'm new to flex and I'm trying to use the following code
to display "Random Products"

<srv:RandomProducts_request numberOfProducts="1"/>

click="myService.RandomProducts_send()" />
</mx:Application>
but when I run the application I get an error message
"Severity and Description Path Resource Location Creation Time Id
Could not resolve <srv:RandomProducts_request_var> to a
component implementation."
Please can somebody help? It's driving me a bit mental.

You've defined namespace srv, so is the component
RandomProducts_request_var located inside the com.montpellierdns
folder? If its in a sub-folder of the montpellierdns folder, you
need to specify a namespace specifically to that folder.
Also, com must be a direct sub-folder of the one compaining
your app mxml file, and then montpellierdns a sub-folder within
that.
