Depending upon the additional features you wish to have the particular user to have access to, and where your account is located, you could do this one of two ways:
Add enough credit to the "child" account so the user can purchase a Premium subscription; or
If Video is the only feature you need, here is a screen shot of where to find and to add that feature:
Please note, if the Skype Manager account is in the United States and has accepted US.. Terms of Service, then the members are not permitted to purchase any products themselves. They can only request available products from the administrator, and Skype Premium is not currently available.

Changes to Skype Premium for existing users

I'm confused about what my former Skype Premium package now includes following an email from Skype. I had noticed that from 1st May I was no longer getting free calls to Canada as was previously the case but the latest communication from Skype isn't clear. It states:
"Group video calling is now free. But as a big thanks for being a Premium subscriber, we're giving you calling to countries around the world at no extra cost. That means you'll get all the perks of Premium, plus unlimited1 calls to phones in over 60 countries/regions — all for the same rate you're paying now."
So does that mean I get free calls to the 60 countries listed or not? I'm primarily interested in free or low cost calls to Canada and if these aren't on offer what benefits am I getting from the new Premium?

I've now had another email from Skype which tells me I have subscribed to a new package and upon checking it is unlimited world calling, so that seems to clarify matters, although I was still charged for calls earlier in May...

Skype Premium for 1 month

I wanted to use group picture calling to our account as prompted during a call so signed up and paid up for a monthly billing. Then all it said was group calling 'not available'. I am being billed monthly but when I check my account credit I have $0.00!!!
So what am I paying for??

Skype Premium itself provides group video calls, not calls to phones. Subscriptions provide calling minutes, not credit therefore your balance will not be changed, when purchasing a subscription.
I guess you are interested in Skype Premium bundle that comes with Unlimited US&Canada subscription: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/premium/
As the website says, in order to get Unlimited US&Canada you need to sign up at least for 3 months.

Well I understand typically the Analog out voltage range is + or - 10V. I need some help regarding choosing a power amplifier ( if I need one).
Here's a brief discription of my application:
I have a electroactive actuator. I am trying to develop a VI which generates voltage levels specified by the user through a array. What I am trying to do is to generate a voltage spike, which is faster than the speed of response of my actuator. However, I am not exactly sure whether 10V would be sufficient amplitude for my spike. So I might need say upto 15V output. Since the DAQ cards have a maximum range of 10V, I suppose I will need a amplifier. So how should I go about in selecting a correct power amplifier or signal conditioner?
Here's what I have planned right now:
Labview VI---->DAQ card----->Analog out----->Actuator
I suppose for above stated reason, I should look for a amplifier/signal conditioner between the analog out and my actuator.

Why does Skype premium screen sharing function not work on the most recent Ipad

You need a Skype account and have to read through their Help sections and all to get an idea of what their service offerings are. You can get a number for your account, not for the iPad, but you pay extra for that.
I've uses the Skype app to send phone calls, for audio and text chats and messages and .... I guess that's about it. No video chatting on the iPad of course, due to no camera. I think I got video from my brother once, but he no longer turns his on unless I do mine also, as in on the iMac.
The app has plenty of audio out ( not all do) so you won't need headphones unless you're in a noisy area. I'd be surprised if the integrated (mic included) ones wouldn't work, but haven't had one to play with.

If I buy a surface 2 tablet in US and gift it someone in India will they get the “Unlimited World” subscription which includes calls to both landlines and mobiles Offer ?
I do not see India in the listed countries.
I want to know if they will be able to make call someone in other countries or to only specific contries.
Or the free call offer is only from the listed countries to any other country.
Its bit confusing. Because its not mentioned the calls are free to the listed countries or from.

sorry to hear about your trouble with using Skype WiFi on your new Surface 2.
To fix this please try the following:
Connect with your Surface 2 to a WiFi access point that gives you internet access without using Skype WiFi
Start the Skype WiFi app and wait for it to sign in and show the "You are already online" screen
After you've done this you should be able to use Skype WiFi to connect to hotspots again. Sorry again for the trouble.

Skype premium making free calls to the USA

Hello everybody
I have skype premium for a month offered by Skype, and I'm wondering why am I being able to call to USA's mobiles for free. I checked on my skype account, and not a cent in being charged, although I can not call to anywhere else in the world. If I don't have any skype credits, is there any way they are charging me for those calls to the USA??
Does skype premium have that thing that I can call for free to a country I choose?? I may have chosen USA and I don't remember maybe??
I keep looking on my Account witch country I've chosen for free calls, but I can't find it..

Is Skype Premium a scam?

I have Skype Premium now for 4 days or so. And the reason i bought it is to get rid of the ads. But i still see them, in my home screen and during calls. heres a screenshot: puu.sh/1sEsU
It is very annoying as i bought a service to get rid of them. But in the end they are still there... I hate commercials very much, and i refuse to use programs that force me into them. However i liked skype before Windows toke over and needed a phone number, so i thought lets just buy the **bleep** Premium, its still cheaper than a normal phone here...
Eitherway how do we fix this.. i won't pay for commercials.
I am very unsatisfied, also i don't see the promised live support in my contact list.
As we speak i am looking for a other program that can do almost the same as Skype.
Getting tired of fixing stuff, its always the same with Microsoft.
I want my ads to be gone within 24hours or i refund myself, that are the benefits of paypal. And i will report Skype Premium as a big scam, with all PROOF in it. I'm really pissed of now, due this. I'd say yes it is. my ads are gone but now i have a bunch of Skype advertisements- I dont want ANY pop ups, not even skype ones, why --- would i want to be harrassed to buy premium and check features im either dont want, or already know of? Ontop of owning premium already!
Oh and the multiway sharing dont work ---. I am trying to share dark souls with my 2 friends and every 6mins the flipping thing says "Group video is unavailable at the moment. Please try again a little later." Why --- should I? Its premium service! Now where --- is the service?

I received a one year free skype premium voucher from purchase of my laptop. After redeeming the voucher I never get the option of choosing the country of my choice for free unlimited calling. I looked everything but all i see is FREE US and CANADA. I already go free calling to US and Canada with my home phone. I would like to add germany instead.. help Please..

Skype Pro vs. Skype Premium

I am currently on a grandfathered Skype Pro subscription, for which I pay USD 3.00 a month. I would like to try group video calling but understand that I need to switch to Skype Premium for that (which currently goes for USD 4.49 a month).
What are the main differences (besides group video chat and different monthly price) between these two subscriptions? What will I be loosing and gaining when switching from Pro to Premium?
What I need most is my Skype-To-Go number, so I wouldn't want to give that up with Premium, but I cannot find any information about whether that is still supported in Premium or not.

But I think you are comparing Skype Pro with Skype Premium 3 or 12 months subscription that comes with Unlimited US & Canada: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/premium
If you just need group video calling then you can purchase Skype Premium monthly or day pass and make group video calls.
In case you are thinking of replacing Skype Pro with Unlimited US & Canada that comes with Skype Premium bundle then I'd recommend checking Skype Pro benefits: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/skypepro/

Keep in mind that Skype Pro is not offered anymore, if you cancel it then you won't be able to get it back.
Skype Pro is very similar to Unlimited US & Canada as they both cover US&Canada and have similar price, the main difference is that in order to call US & Canada with Skype Pro you need to be actually in one of these countries, but with Unlimited US & Canada subscription you don't. Then again with Skype Pro if for example you go to Germany then calling landlines in Germany is covered, but with Unlimited US & Canada only calls to 2 countries(US and Canada) are covered.
When it comes to Skype To Go, then this is not linked to subscriptions. Setting up Skype To Go is free of charge, but you need to have either a subscription or Skype Credit to pay for calls. It doesn't matter if you have Skype Pro or Unlimited US & Canada as long as you call country that is covered by your subscription.

Can't purchase Skype Premium, something went wrong...

I'm already a old style 'Skype Premium' user, with the old 'Skype Premium' features and unlimited calls to the US and Canada.
Other than that, I have a one month new 'Skype Premium' subscription that is still active.
Now I have credits in the accoun and I want to buy a 12 months new 'Skype Premium' for umlimted calls to over 50 countries, but it always gives me something went wrong error?
And where is the online chat support for 'Skype Premium' users? I just can't find it on the skype website at all.
