I am calling from my skype apps from android phone to numbers(Mobile and landline) from India but it fails stating no skype balace, buy some balance.
Is it not valid for India's mobile and landlines. Please respond.

You may be misunderstanding Skype. With Skype it matters only where you are calling TO. Your location is irrelevant. Unfortunately you don't tell us to/within which country you are calling so it's not possible to give you a definitive response.
If you are calling within India that country is not included in the Premium Subscription.

All subscriptions apply to call forwarding. For example if your calls are forwarded to your mobile number in Japan, then you need a subscription that covers Japan: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
Subscription should cover the number where you forward your calls.
Currently there aren't Unlimited subscription for Japan mobile, only landlines: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/pay-monthly/#JP

Subscription for unlimited calls to US

Good morning, i want to buy the subscription for unlimited calls to US for a month, but i have some problems:
1. There it says that if i want unlimited calls on US mobile number i have to say that before i pay the subscription , but i complete everything i can not write anywhere that i want unlimited minutes to US mobile number. I am not interested in unlimited calls to landlines
2. I put the card number... and so on, but i can not make the payment it says to chech if i have money or verify my account, it can be possible this because i have a Master Card with LEI, not with Dollars or Euro

I just signed up for the premium service yesterday (I have had a "regular" Skype account for years) and seem to have the same problem. How do I link my newly purchased outside phone number and my new annual subscription together? I emailed Skype tech support about 24 hours ago and have received no reply.

I am using skype from long time, I was using subscription for unlimited call to India on landlines and mobile, unfortunately I missed to put autorecharge option and on 28th august my subscription expired.
Now when I am trying to buy India unlimited subscription from portal its not available and it has been replaced with 2500min/month.
Is it possible to buy India unlimited subscription for 1 year without cap of 2500m/m.
Any help appreciated.

The Unlimited India subscription no longer exists. According to posts here on the forum, Skype discontinued it due to high levels of abuse. You can now choose from 4 time-limited monthly subscriptions (60, 120, 800, or 2500 minutes per month).

I have got a skype premium membership but don't know how to set my unlimited calls to a country of my choice (France). Could you please help?

To avail of the free unlimited calling subscription to the country of your choice is only available during your Skype Premium purchase. Since you already made the purchase and was not able to add unlimited calling subscription, I'd recommend that you contact Skype Customer Service.
They will review the purchase if it can still be refunded and will help you further in making the correct purchase of Skype Premium with unlimited subscription to France.

If I was to purchase the unlimited calls to the United States on a monthly basis, would I be able to add non subscripted people to calls if I host? So say for example I call my Auntie in Washington on her landline and I want to add my brother in who is on his computer on his free skype account in the other room. Would I be able to do this as the host free of charge?

I call my auntie in the US on my subscription but add my brother into the call to make it a 3 way call. He doesnt have a subscription but would he still be able to join the call since I have a subscription? So essentially, I call my auntie on my subsciption to her US landline phone. I then add my brother in who has a normal skype account without any subsciptions. What I am asking is, is it possible for him to talk in this conversation with me to my auntie even though he hasnt paid for a subscription. Or would he have to buy a subscription to join the call?

Any update on iCall, the app that supposedly allows us to make free calls over wi-fi/voice over IP (VOIP)?
any news would be appreciated, not only re: when it might be released, but also whether those calls have high sound fidelity-- this would supposedly fix the call reception issues (eg dropped calls), if you just have a wireless network at home or work.

i havent actually used it yet - but if you run the app it just prsents you wiith a dialing ketpad much like the native Apple one - it has favorites although it doesn't link to the native iphone favorite list - it also has recents and contacts (which does link to your native iphone contact list)
the only complication i can see is their is a topup button at the bottom of the app to add funds to your account - but it just links to the truphone web site

Subscription for Unlimited calls

Hello, I just paid for unlimited use for Switzerland, it says EURO 7.99/month, then had to find out I got a credit for CHF17 after trying to make a call and it deducted some money. Why is it for one, charging me CHF17 if I signed up for 7.99 and why is it deducting money if it is supposed to be unlimited???????????????? Am very annoyed to say the least. Is this the way Skype does business???? Also, it seems to be impossible to find an email to contact Skype. Why is there no email listed?

If the phone you are trying to call has a UK number, that would be considered a call to the UK - even if that phone is currently in the USA. You would need to get Skype Credit or a subscription covering calls to that UK number (sounds like it is a mobile number, so look for subscriptions covering calls to UK landlines and mobiles). The location of the device is not relevant to Skype, but the location of the number you are calling is very relevant.
With the Unlimited USA & Canada subscription, you can call numbers in those two countries where you are dialing +1 followed by the area code and number. If the country code is not +1, you're dialing another country - and that is not covered by the subscription you mentioned.

Skype discontinued the Unlimited India subscription in August, due to high levels of abuse. Skype now offers 4 subscriptions for calling telephones in India (60, 120, 800 or 2500 minutes/month). Since this was just discontinued recently, I would not expect Skype to resume offering the former Unlimited India subscription.
If you have contacts in India that have Internet access, you could encourage them to sign up for Skype accounts. Then you could have free Skype-to-Skype calls with those contacts, including one-on-one video chats.

Have paid subscription - unable to connect with ot...

Hello, I need help asap. I was hoping for a little customer service for something I pay money for, but I am unfortunately unable to find any. I have a subscription for unlimited calling to the United States. All day today was one failed attempt after another. Starting from the first call this morning. It won't connect at all with phone numbers and keeps hanging up after a few minutes on skype to skype calls which have bad reception. I have had reliable internet connection all day, so it's not my internet.
Can someone please help me with this? It's a paid subscription and I'm relying on it to do business.

Please contact customer service to ensure your Premium subscription is activated correctly on your account. Question: did you choose a particular country to place calls to when you subscribed? If yes, are the calls you are trying to place in that country? To clarify, the "unlimited" plans and availability of placing calls to all fixed line and mobile numbers depends upon the country.

Subscription to Unlimited World, Unlimited Minutes

I have a subscription to Unlimited World with Unlimited minutes, but I am unable to make any international calls. I have a 12 month unlimited subscription that I activated on December 17th 2014 and expires December 17th 2015. I am trying to make calls to both mobile numbers and landlines in Kenya. I keep getting an error message stating I need to add credit, but this is a one year pre-paid subscription so I should not have to add credit, which was the point of getting this. Can someone tell me why this not working? Thanks.

The 'world unlimited' subscription is actually limited to specific countries and, unfortunately, they don't include Kenya.
