I open Frefx and a small icon of homepage shows above taskbar at bottom of Win7. But I cannot open a full page or use Firefox. I tried uninstalling then installing newest version, but this did not solve the problem. Have had to go back to IE

Hi Molly, you probably found the answer in another thread by now, but this is caused by Firefox 33 being incompatible with older graphics card/chipset driver software. no icons on google toolbar. I just get a blank toolbar with nothing on it. unable to modify/reset. reinstall did not volve the issue.

I updated my Itunes the other day and now, when clicking on the itunes icon, the program does not open?? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting the computer, checking permissions, running as adminstrator.. nothing is working?? Help!!
Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

I have an IMac desk top. Safari icon is down at the bottom, but nothing happens when I click it. How do I open safari? Was working fine earlier.

Open your Applications folder - find Safari in the applications, and double click on the icon in there. You may have a corrupt alias in the dock at the bottom. -
This is especially annoying if you have hot corners for LaunchPad and accidentally open it with a full screen app open, because the Dock will not leave! Try it: open any app in full screen, open LaunchPad with a gesture or hot corner, exit out of LaunchPad and the Dock will be at the bottom of the full-screen app, obscuring the bottow 10% or so of the screen. Any fixes, or something to come on Apple's end?

My Adobe has stopped allowing me to move library books from my PC to my KOBO (both show authorized on the ADE. the message reads : CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy book. It used to work. Any easy fixed for me?(I already tried uninstall and re-install)

My 4th Gen iPod Touch won't open up the apps I've downloaded. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app and it seems to only be a temporary fix. The reset and reboot didn't work either. Help would be appreciated.
In more specific terms. The apps that came on the iPod like the weather and maps and whatnot have been working flawlessly. It's just when I download an app and then disconnect from wifi it's almost like I'm on a timer until the app stops working. It acts like it wants to open, the screen flashes black then resets to the home pages. I've tried all of the basic fixes, rebooting, reseting, uninstalling then reinstalling. But like in my...long...question, the reinstalling option only seems to be a temporary fix. Since loading Lion, I've experienced much more instability than Snow Leopard. In particular, Mail crashes with regularity, full-screen apps seem to run slower and show the beach ball more often for longer, etc. I love the features, but I'm disappointed with the performance. Any help coming from Apple? I've been sending them so many reports after crashes, that their file must be full!
Summoning max. courage, I did what you advised. Here is the result. What does this tell you? My Lion 7.2 (mid 2011 iMac) has several annoying glitches (which I have so far tolerated through gritted teeth) but none that have actually stopped me working.
BTW, I see several items involving CleanMyMac which I did not know I had. It is generally villified as a trouble-maker. Spotlight can't find an app. or a utility of that name. How can I get rid of what's there please? Just delete?

Ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion, my AOL messages sometimes, but not always open with a blank page. If I open AOL in Firefox, the messages open fine. This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message. In fact, in the same screen I can often open an email from the same sender with email intact. This is weird. Sometimes I close the page and open a new page. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is a very annoying thing.

When you start Messages fro the first time you are asked for an Apple ID
When this is verified and entered it appears in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts and is Enabled.
The App should have also picked on on those iChat Accounst you had before.
These should be Enabled if they were when you last used iChat.
Exactly which "Accounts" are logged in can be seen in Message Menu > Accounts and will include the iMessage "Account" and Bonjour.
In the Window menu you will see CMD +0 for the Messages window and CMD+1 for the "Buddies" window which is a combined list at this stage.
Go to the Preferences > General Section and Untick the "Collect all accounts into one list".
This will give you separate iChat type Buddy lists.
You can check if that account/Buddy list is set to Invisible or if in the Preferences > Accounts > Security you have settings that will block some people from seeing you as On line.
You are saying Buddies can see you as On Line which implies they are still sending to your AIM based Names (@Mac.com is a valid AIM Screen Name)
I am not sure from your post if you are trying to iMessage their email IDs thinking they are Apple IDs and that they are using Messages as well.
There is no Buddy list for iMessages side
No-one can tell you are "On Line" until they have your details in the "To" spot in Messages with the correct iMessaged contact info (iPhone Number or Apple ID)
Obviously an Apple ID can be an email or look like one.
In some cases they are also valid AIM Screen Names as well.
In the case or the @mac.com name you may have linked this Apple ID to iMessages as well.
