Hello Guys,.. my sister working in japan..and she give a gift in my wedding.. Iphone 3gS 32gig...and when try to sim card... the sim card its not working.. but when put back my sim card in my old mobile..it's 100% working.., and my frind told me to jailbreak then unlock, for me i dont want to jailbreak and unlock with unregisterd unlocker.. what can i do so that i can used my sim DU here in dubai? please answer my question.. thanks you in advance....

Expanding on what John said, iPhones sold in Japan are locked to SoftBank and that carrier does not offer unlocking services. So other than jailbreaking, there is no solution for you other than selling your iPhone to someone in or from Japan (unless your sister purchased it recently enough that she could return it) and purchasing an iPhone from Quatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or another country in which the iPhone is not locked to a specific carrier. Note that you will get no support in Dubai for an iPhone; if anything goes wrong, you'll have to ship it back to the country of original sale for servicing.

Depends on where the device was purchased.
If it was purchased in Israel, take it to an authorized service center in Israel.

Try using RecBoot or TinyUmbrella to kick it out of Recovery mode.

The only option is to contact that person to have them remove Activation Lock from the iPhone. They can do it online and do not have to come to you. Check out the article below for more information.

Here are some helpful troubleshooting steps to go through when experiencing this issue.
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.

It sounds like you need to disable your iPhone remotely. I'm sorry to hear about your phone! The only way to do this with is Apple services is if you had Find my iPhone enabled. You have 2 options:
You can use this article to put the phone into Lost Mode and preserve your data on it, but prevent access to it:
