Game center registration loop problem

I have tried to reigister for the game center with my Apple ID and the message that the Apple ID has not been used in Game center... I tap continue. I enter my location, then my date of Birth.
After this I get the same message again. "This Aplle ID has not yet been used in Game center" and i'm asked to enter my location again and then DOB and then I go back to the same message. I can't get past this loop.
(I have tried turing up phone off and on again, and it still does not work)
can any one help me ?

I had exactly the same problem on my sons ipod 4th gen.
I tried logging on using my phone and it worked fine.

Game Center email verification problem

I can't send my friends email requests from Game Center because I my email address's never had been verified. I've tried requesting verification emails over the past several weeks I've owned my iPod Touch, but despite getting a notification that Game Center sent one, I never receive the email. I also checked my spam folder each time, but it's as though Game Center never sent any verification despite it telling me it did so. I talked to an Apple rep a few weeks back and they told me their Game Center verification server (at the time) was back logged and that I would receive the verification emails shortly. If by shortly they mean before I die, they might be correct on this one. When I initially tried this verification process, I had 4.1 but now I have 4.2 and this still doesn't work. Am I missing something here? Is this feature broken for anyone else? I should note I am able to add other people by their Game Center name, I just can't sent Game Center requests by email. This is really frustrating. Am I doing something wrong?
By the way I sent verification emails to my gmail, AOL, and my Comcast accounts all with the same problem.

I am having that same problem, and as far as I know, I'm not doing anything wrong. They need to get this fixed.
I am also having trouble setting up my FaceTime on my Mac because it's saying my email is already being used. Hmmm... Nice try. It's not.

Game Center friend request problem

I am using an iPad Air on iOS 8.1.3. Me and a friend are trying to become friends in Game Center. At first, we couldn't get any requests to show up. We both went to the Add friend feature and tried entering both usernames and email addresses and neither of us were getting a request from the other. I have tried restarting the iPad and signing out and signing back in. After persistence, we managed to get requests to show up on each others iPads, but it wouldn't let us accept the request. It would appear, we would hit accept and then the request would stay in the requests list like we had never hit accept. Then my Game Center homepage would sometimes not change, or sometimes it would say 1 request and 1 friend, and sometimes if i had recently hit accept multiple times, it would say 1 request and 2 friends, but when you go in the friends list, it is blank. The friend is also running iOS 8.1.3. I am new to using Apple products, and this would be my first Game Center friend.

Game Center friend request problems

I've tried to add my friend through Game Center and I sent the friend request fine via email, but when I asked her if she got the request, she said that she did and that on her friends list it said that I was added to her list and that she could see the scores on my games and everything. When she removed me, she sent me a request and I never got one. Anyone else have this problem?

Can anyone please help me..when i turn on facebook friend recommendations it's having trouble communicating.. it's been so long and keep waiting..and it wont fix..please help!

It seems you are unable use a Game Center feature. Have you attempted signing out and signing back in to Game Center? The following article provides the steps for signing out:
Using Game Center on your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support
iOS: Go to Settings and tap Game Center > Apple ID > Sign Out.

I signed out of Game Center and now it won't accept my old name when I try and log in.
. I used my same email and needed to create a new password, however, this created a new game center account without my old scores. How can I find my old account?

HT4314 iPhone 5c iOS 8.0.2 Game Center randomly logged me out and asked for a nickname as if I did not have an account. How do I get my account back?

I updated my iPhone to iOS 8 then added the 8.0.2 update early last week. On 10/3/14, I used an app that saves through Game Center with no problems (and had not been logged out of Game Center at any time since the update), then a few hours later when I tried to go back in, Game Center popped up and asked for my password. I put in my password, then Game Center prompted me for a nickname. When I entered my nickname, it told me it was associated with another account. I only have one Apple ID and the account the nickname is associated with is my own. After going out and back in and restarting the phone, I finally entered a new nickname thinking maybe it was being required as part of the update but then it cleared all of my Game Center information. Is there a way I can get back to my original nickname and Game Center progress? Thank you in advance for your help as I am not very tech savvy.

Even easier than what I wrote originally. Just do a RESET ALL SETTINGS . I was originally only trying the "reset network settings" but didn't try reset ALL settings. This has helped 5 of my friends regain their Bluetooth connectivity with a variety of autos. But remember two things: 1) back up data on your phone before trying this and 2) don't forget to delete the bluetooth original pairing from your car.

HT4314 How do I change the Game Center login name...I've has issues with getting GC to align my iPad game to the iPhone correctly.

I have been playing a game on the iPad (called D.S.F) & then wanted to link it to my iPhone with Game Center.
The problem is when it tried doing it...It asked me to choose a game name on the iPhone and I used the one I was using on the iPad but it didn't like as it said the name was taken.
So I set another name up and then thinking I could simply change the required name in DSF game settings to align the game but instead the game fully reset itself and I lost the existing game levels I was on the iPad.
After uninstalling the game on both devices & reloading them a few times, I established that when I turned off Game Center and reinstalled the game on the iPad then I got the game reloaded picking up from where I was initially.
The short of this blurb is that somehow I need to change the Game Center name for the game I'm playing so it links correctly and I'm not sure how to do that.
It's the name in Game Center that's linked to the iPhone new game that is the problem and it's the one I need to correct.
Any advice?

Go to start menu
Type REGEDIT into the search
Select find under the edit tab
Type the exact name you wish to correct
correct every entry by clicking on the entry> and then clicking edit>select modify>then correct only the portion of the name you wish to correct> then click ok> go back to edit and click find next> repeat the process for each entry in the registry until the screen says finished>restart windows and plug in your ipad. ENJOY

This happened to me as well. **Warning: The following steps will remove all network passwords from your phone and you will have to re-input them. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable**
To resolve, I went to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and accept the Reset Network Settings option.
Afterwards, I was able to log into the Game Center without a problem.

Troubleshooting in my game center

hi, i have iphone 4s and im having problems in my game center .. in the past i was having problems staying signed in in my apple id account and connected to game center, then this problem was gone, but later after that i couldnt open many online games that are listed in my game center , i closed them and re open again but nothing happend , restarted my iphone many times also nothing happened , updated ios 7.0.6 to ios 7.1 also nothing happens.. sign out of my apple id in game center,apple store, facetime, etc.. and signed again nothing happens , i deleted some games and re downloaded it again, open them from homescreen and nothing happens again, when i go to game center and trying to entre my games list .. the page open and the loading circle shows and remains like that for along time without showing the games list, also same for my friends list in game center, when i go to my profile name to try to change it the page stalls or i cant press done neither the cancel buton so i have to exit by going to homescreen and close the game center and open it again .. i cant open some games but i can still recieve some notifications from few of them when i got attacked like in strategic games . i lost my game account in one of the games that i spent alot of my time and some money on and i was one of the leaders in leader board in it around the world !
i tried many solution .. but nothing works .. im getting frustrated hehe .. please help .. need your advices and info
note: my iphone was used when i bought it .. and i havent changed my apple id that i created it since i bought it a year and half ago maybe more

My game center does the same after every poweroff. I dont charge my ipad online, i shut it down and then plug it in. And after full charge, I power on the ipad, and whoola, my game center and related games are not working!! I googled for solutions, even official solution was "resetting my settings after a full backup", I did full backup, and reset my settings and yes, Game Center worked. But a few days letter, after full poweroff-charge-power on cycle it happened again. I did not want to reset my settings every time, it's too frustrating for me because I love my settings in all computers and devices I use. (I have a windows 7 installation that's always been upgraded since it's first windows 98 installation, never been formatted!!!, i hate formatting my own computer, i love customization and automation)
So i decided to try other things at own, and at first I tried changing date-time settings. After playing a few minutes it worked again. Now after every game center I change date settings and power off, after power on game center works, no resetting. I tired this on other peoples ipads and iphones and it worked all the time.
Here's the solution explained:
1) Open Settings-General-Date, touch to turn off automatic clock setting, and take the date back a few days, for example if it's March 20, set it as March 18. you dont need to change time.
2) Power off your device (by pushing and waiting power button on side)
3) Power on again
4) Open Game Center, or Settings-Game Center, and wait for a few seconds, if it warns for "correcting your date/time" do not correct it before seeing Game Center open.
5) if Game Center opens unsigned, correct your date settings and then sign in.
you may need to close some games and game center before step 2 (buy opening multitasking menu and sliding apps up)

How can I get past game center?

Whenever I open a game, game center pops up asking me to log in. If I type in my ID and password, it loads forever and does nothing. If I press cancel, it does nothing. If I press create new ID, it does nothing. This happens every time I load up a game and I can't seem to find a way to play my games.
I tried putting restrictions on and that does not fix the problem. Opening up the game center app doesn't do anything either, because it never finishes loading.
How can I turn off game center, or actually log in, so that I can play my games?

I fixed it. First backed it up, then I factory reset my iPod, then I restored it with the back up. After that I was able to log into Game Center without any problems.

Achievements Sync Problem to Game Center

I have an iPhone 4s and I just made a Game Center account.I've been playing many games with compatibility to Game Center achievements for a long time now, such as tiny wings, subway surf and many more. I felt like playing tiny wings or subway surf. As soon as I started a level, achievements began to pop up one after another. Not all of the achievements popped up. The only achievements that did pop up were the ones that I had already met the requirements for. For example, subway surf have 37 of 42 achievements. i done 37 achievements its oke! after, i done other 5 achievements but it still not recorded game center. many games will doing this problem. i checked 3G connection, game center account its working. No problem in other games.
any idea?

I also had the same problem where entering my Apple ID and password would just get me into an endless loop of the Location (country) page and date-of-birth page.
Here's what I did...
1) I downloaded a free game app that works with Game Center...Run, Run, Chicken v.1.1
2) I opened the app, then closed it. When I opened it again, it asked me if I wanted to use an existing account or create a new account for Game Center. I chose to use an existing account.
3) I entered my e-mail address (in my case, my Apple ID) and password.
4) I had to verify the Location (country) and date of birth.
5) Then I went right to the terms and conditions page, and upon acceptance, I got to the Game Center set up. I completed the set up.
6) When I opened the Game Center app on my iPhone, I was able to get into Game Center without any sign in problems.
