Game center? related to purchased apps?

I've had my iphone for 2 weeks and am trying to learn about it. I have saved the link for the user's manual and am reading posts here as questions come up. I just purchased my first app. I had downloaded a few free apps and just bought angry birds. I opened it and it asks me if I want to use my apple ID or create a new one. I have a few questions related to this:
I obviously have an apple id. Do I sign in with my apple id and password to play the game? Is that dangerous, in giving the game website my id and password? Since it would allow someone to purchase things from itunes, it seems to be something I would want to protect and I don't know who this info goes to when I log into the new purchased app. I did log in to itunes to buy it and download it. this is to play the game. I hit cancel the first time and it let me play the game. tonight, when I do the same thing, a window opens asking me to sign into the game center and wants my apple id.
Is the game center something that becomes automatic when you purchase an app, vs the free apps? I kept hitting cancel and eventually, it lets me play the game. so I am confused on what it is for.

Hi,
Sounds like what you want to do is evict the item from the cache, rather than remove it. Evicting the item is effectively saying the entry in the cache is out of date, and Coherence should retrieve it from the database should a new request for the key come in.
You can set up eviction either through config, (to evict after a period of time or when the cache reaches a certain size), or pragmatically using an entry processor, (which calls remove(true) on the entry passed to it. The 'true' means evict rather than delete).

IOS 8 update lost my stats on my game, however the stats are still in Game Center. How to I get the Game Center to update my app?

I've lost my game stats and upgrades because of the IOS8 update. I can see my stats in Game Center , however I've tride signing in and out of Game Center in hope of the information updating in the game app . No such luck . Now Ive never backed up my ipad . What if anything can I do or is this another Apple Bug that has to be fixed by Apple.

Try closing all of the apps on your iPad and then reset the device.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it. Close every app this way.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Reset Game Center app without factory reset?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't see a better one. Please direct me to it if so.
I have a corrupt Game Center file that is crashing a game at the load screen. I suspect it's Game Center related because I tried the game on my iPad and it worked fine until I tried to sync my Game Center progress. After that I am getting the same crash at the same point on the load screen. My question, is there a way to reset my local Game Center data without wiping the phone?

Why do i have two game center accounts on one apple id and how do i log into the other one

One day while i was bored i started up a game but all of my progress items and everything that i paid for was gone and it was the same in all of my other game center related apps. After a long chain of emails with the maker of the game he stopped being helpful but we figured out that i have two game center accounts but only one apple id. So how do i log into the account with all of my data?

Get a separate Apple ID for one of the phones. Or turn OFF iCloud contacts synching on the one you do not want contacts to synch.

Game Center games reset after restore

Okay, so after i have restored my iPhone 4 in iTunes(because my phone was lagging) everything was back to normal when i realized something was not right, my Game Center account was perfectly fine until i played Zombie Cafe and was shocked to see my cafe was reset to the very beginning, then i quickly went to the other Game Center related games in my phone and it had the same prob, all started from the beginning...is there any way to recover my original status?

I would first force all applications to close then power cycle the device. Once this is done test accessing Game Center.

Games not showing up in Game Center.

When I look at 'Games' under Game Center, it shows 0 games. When you click on the 'Find Game Center Games' button it takes you to the 'Game Center' section of the App Store, where surprisingly enough there is a game in the Game Center' section of the App Store that I already have on my iPod Touch, but isn't showing up in "Game Center" on my iPod Touch.
How do I get the "Game Center" to see the 'Game Center' games that I have already installed on my iPod Touch?

Can you access game centre from the game itself? I noticed that in a youtube video of someone trying it out .. that you could access the game centre in a multiplayer option in the game menu?
That might add it to the centre for you to use otherwise?
Also maybe e-mailing the game creators or looking at their website might give an answer .. it might be that their game has a bug? Can you try another game centre activated game (are there any free ones .. I don't know).

Lost Oceanhorn Game on Game Center and no back up!

I had to restore my iPad recently and my last back up was September 2013. Gutted as I have lost all my game and I really really don't want to have to start all over again!
I can't seem to find a contact email for Game Center and wondering whether they can get this data back for me??

Game Center is an Apple app. They will it be able to retrieve your data for you. It is a bit irresponsible to not have backed up since September.
I'm sorry, but will have to start all over again. You should think about backing up on a more frequent and regular basis. It's so easy to do.

Game center: Need a way to delete games that are already uninstalled

There needs to be a way to delete games from the "Game Center" that have already been deleted off the phone.
I deleted a game and tapped "keep" instead of "remove" when it asked about the game center.
There needs to be a way to delete the game directly from the game center that doesnt involve reinstalling the game and then uninstalling it.
Anyone else think there needs to be a delete game from game center feature from the game center?

You can open up Game Center and go to your games and do a swipe to the right of the game you wish to delete off of Game Center. Now I just wish I knew how to do the same with deleting games off of Game Center from the Mac App Store...
