Hi,
The Generate Flexfield and Mapping Information process errors out with the following msg:

ORACLE error 6501 in FDPSTP
Cause: FDPSTP failed due to ORA-06501: PL/SQL: program error
ORA-06512: at "APPS.FND_FLEX_DSC_API", line 1626
ORA-06501: PL/SQL: program error
ORA-06512: at "APPS.FND_FLEX_DSC_API", line 925
ORA-01403: no data foun
I have created the element set with all the elements added one at a time into the element set.
Any idea on what could be the issue ?

Pl see if the steps in MOS Doc 453184.1 (ORA-01403 and ORA-06512 at HXC_CREATE_FLEX_MAPPINGS and FND_FLEX_DSC_API on Runnning hxcmprn.sql) can help

I am implementing OTL with payroll, i have done the required setup.
1. created element
2. created alternative name mapping the element
3. created application set ..and etc...
4. created preference attached all newly created preferences
5. assigned to all employees
But i am not able to see the elements in the list box in the timecard screen. I know there is some setup missing and need to run the "Generate Flexfield and Mapping Information" program
Can you any tell me the steps enable the elements in timecard.

Have you attached the Alternate name to preference "Self Service Timecard Alternate Name Set Defined for a User" ? Also please check if the employee has the correct Preference attached.

Payroll Run processing error out with PTO element

I have created new payroll and trying to process first payroll of employee but when we are processing with PTO element it is getting error out below error.

               there are several ways to reprocess the structure of a SSAS 2005 object.
               In my example I use an SSIS 2005 processing task in an ETL package, but the simplest way is:
               Log on to the database using SQL Server Management Studio 2005; Open the cubes tree under your database, and right-click one of the cubes; Choose "Process" from the context menu and then another window will open. This window should show your cube name and then some options; Under "Process Options", change the default option (I think it's "Process Full") to "Process Structure". Click "OK" and the structure of your cube should be reprocessed, correcting the error.
               Some observations: You might have to do this first for all the dimensions, because the cubes depend on them, and you also might have to do it one object at a time through this method. Through an SSIS 2005 package, you are able to do this in batch using a special SSAS processing task.

PTO Carry Over Process errors out

Hi ,
I am trying to run the PTO Carryover process and I am giving the parameters for calculation date - 01-jan-2010 and accrual term as 'Previous'.
I have a biweekly payroll and payroll period is '28-dec-2009' to '10-jan-2010'. We are using the seeded 'PTO_PAYROLL_CARRYOVER"
formula in accrual screen. when I run the PTO Carryover process I am getting the below error.
ORA-20001: An error has occurred in a user defined function at line 130 of the formula PTO_PAYROLL_CARRYOVER.
The error text associated with the function call is:
The system cannot calculate accruals for this date becuase the employee's payroll did not exist for the full accrual term..
Please correct the problem with the function call, or contact your system administrator or support representative.
I assume that i am getting this error because 31-dec-2009 falls in between payroll period 28-dec-2009 and 10-jan-2010. the seeded formula is calculating
as of 31-dec-2009 which is in between payroll period. Can you please help me. we need to do the carry over process.

1) If this is practical how we can achieve.If you have frequent changes at the database level and customization is involved, then you need to consider compiling apps schema on regular basis (daily basis). This can be done from adadmin or using utlrp.sql script, or manually.
2)what is the recommended way to do it manually from adadmin or schedule..I would recommend running it from adadmin. However, for compiling flexfileds and menus I would not recommend doing so unless you are instructed to do so (for example, after applying application patches).

Ovi Suite and Map Server connection error when beh...

Hi All,
from many recent versions up to the latest 3.1.1.80 I have problems to connect to the map server when behind a proxy. Ovi Suite correctly access to internet and log on (I've set-up proxy access data in the options menu) but when I access to the Maps tab I receive the massage "MAp Server not available".
Now I've understood the reason and for nokia guys it should be very easy to fix the problem:
if my proxy username is in the format "name surname" Ovi Suite access to internet but Maps DOES NOT.
if my proxy username is in the format "username" (without spaces) BOTH ovi suite and Maps WORKS correctly.
Please FIX it, it should be very easy.

Hello, 1. Were you able to use the usb connection if present? And also, make sure you have the correct drivers, if present, installed (use a device manager to check). 2. Most probably, your printer was not properly connected to the network. You need to check IP configuration. If a wireless router is used, make sure there is no MAC filtering enabled. If enabled, you need to reconfigure. 3. DHCP Service. 4. Check the network test page and make sure ssid is correctly identified. And the rest of the wireless parameters. 5. Make sure your firewall does not blobk printer connections. Make sure file and print sharing has been turned on for the appropriate network with network discovery turned on(Network and Sharing Center if Windows). Looks like some thing went wrong with the environment setup in DEV.
I ran the command on the DEV instance and this is what we got..

Import of MSY entries errors out

Hello experts,
We are trying to export MSY entries from development environment to quality environment.
We first exported from dev env with the export manager. It created a file and we used that file in the import manager in Quality to imports the MSY entries. We generated MSY in Quality env before importing the entries.
The process errors out showing lot of error messages:
The attribute ImportOperationSetting of the Business Object Export/Import Manager is not valid.
The attribute ExportOperation(Insert/Update or Delete) of the Business Object Export/Import Manager is not valid.
The attribute Entity List supported by Import/Export of the Business Object Export/Import Manager is not valid.

Hi,
under some circumstances these errors even might occur when importing the prefill file for 2007 mentioned above (note 929467) which you can find on your inst DVD.
This could happen when some choicelists are missing which normally will be inserted while the IDES installation.
Then you need first import only the following 3 choicelist objects from the prefill file
- EXPORTIMPORTENTITIES
- EXPORTOPERATION
- IMPORTOPRSETTING
afterwards import the complete prefill file (again).

BPEL Process Errors at XML Gateway

Hi
I am in the process of developing AP Invoice Inbound process using BPEL.
Process errored outs at XML Gateway with below error.
The Standard:OAG, Transaction Type:AP , Transaction SubType:INI and Location Code 1 is not enabled in the XML Gateway Server. Pls check your Setup.
I have gone through the XML Gateway setup but could not able to locate what exactly the problem.
Could anybody help me out to fix this problem.

Compensation Default and override - Component Id error

Hi,
I am working on a fast formula of 'Compensation default and override type' .
The logic within requires 'component id'. There is an input variable CMP_IV_COMPONENT_ID for this formula type .
I am attaching the fast formula to a component specific column in the worksheet for a particular plan.
I back the plan and start it.
The formula is not getting executed at all.
I also tried attaching this formula to a normal column (which is not specific to a component) .. But in this case the component id was not recognized and the start Batch process errored out.
Please let me know how to attach this type of formula to a plan and run it .

Please note ASG_HR_ASG_ID and PAYROLL_ASSIGNMENT_ID are not same in Fusion. That's why it' not returning any value as element entries are created for payroll assignment id. Since you are able to get value for ASG_HR_ASG_ID, it must be setting value for PAYROLL_ASSIGNMENT_ID as well. Please check value for PAYROLL_ASSIGNMENT_ID and EFFECTIVE_DATE context using following code:-
L_EFFECTIVE_DATE_TEMP='0001/01/01 00:00:00' (Date)
L_PAY_ASG_ID = GET_CONTEXT( PAYROLL_ASSIGNMENT_ID, -1)
L_EFFECTIVE_DATE=GET_CONTEXT(EFFECTIVE_DATE,L_EFFECTIVE_DATE_TEMP)
If it's returning value, it means payroll assignment id and effective date contexts are already set and you don't need to set them explicitly. You can directly get value for STOCK_OPTIONS_NUMBER_OF_SHARES_ASG_ENTRY_VALUE.

I can't activate my phone after reformatting it. My old appleID can't unlock the phone after it was been hacked and erase information inside

I am having dilemma after reformatting my iPhone 5 and I can't get through the re-activation page. It requires me to log-in using my old apple ID which I abandoned 2 years ago after it was been hacked. Apparently, I was able to retrieve my old Apple ID and iCloud, however, the purchased items, downloaded apps, the linked device ("find my iphone app" to link) and other information were wiped out. I reset the password several times to see whether it helps, but still shows error message "Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this phone".
Any advices and help to get through?

Also I have not done anything to the phone ever since I bought it, so I assume that it's locked?

Xbox 360 error out of memory 2

When I play Ghost campaign it starts to load, then blanks out and message say's, Error "out of memory 2. It only does it on campaign, everything else works good.
I cleared system cache, delete Ghost installed content downloaded items (which has 2 GB) and re-installed and still has error message....
What can I do to fix my Xbox, any suggestions?

The log says 0 location products copied and that the process has timed out. the error message is " /SAPAPO/MVM_INT_SVC_CO_VER_LCW reported exception in task DP00014 " , then ending in time limit exceeded. could anyone explain why this happens. please note even if the log says 0 location products copied , in reality they have have been partially copied.

I am using javax.servlet.context.tempdir to store my files in that servletcontext temporary directory. But i dont know how to give hyperlink
of the modified files to the user for them to download the modified files.
What i am using to get the tempdir i will paste

Get Map As XML/Server Image returns blank image on server and errors out on local

In Server, map.getMapAsXML and map.getMapAsServerImage both return blank images though they return a valid url
In local, executing map.getMapAsXML reports the following error:

You may be using Windows with limited functionality as the previous version expired. Did you re-format the drive/partition before you did the "fresh" install if not Windows probably kept the old install information so knew that it was expired previously. Either activate Windows (try typing slui.exe and filling in the product key and activate - then restart the machine) or re-format the drive/partition that Windows is on and re-install Windows again.

Workflow Error out while intiatiating forms(Hcm Forms and Process)

Our workflows are getting error out when forms are initated from Portal.
Workflows are getting triggered when it comes to a task(all type of tasks) its getting errored.
"An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL oc curred, but was neither handled locally".
what i came to know is for users with SAP_ALL access in the R/3 workflow is not getting error.
without SAP_ALL its happening.
Please if anything is missing in configuration.

clearly correct authorisation is missing for the employees
and ensure the WF task is set to general in PFTC> Please verify this and you can do a trace too
as indicated
you can start via Hrasr_test_process
