You need to rephrase, a server generally would be a piece of hardware that you buy to set up a network and store files or a person waiting on you at dinner.

It is impossible to get in contact with Verizon
I am having many problems with my account and am being over charged. I would not be a huge issue if I were able to get in contact with any form of support.
The purpose of having a "Contact Us" page, is to be able to contact you! Due to the nature of my job, I work odd hours and rarely have time to call Verizon when they see fit. The live chat feature is never available. All I have left is this.. forum. This is not the proper way to fix problems. All I need is to be able to send one single email, but Im unable to. I emailed Verizon over a week ago (perhaps through the wrong support center, but even so I should have been directed properly) and have heard nothing in return.
Now I have been charged over $100 higher than my normal bill because the Verizon store I went to last screwed up. I am angry, and I have very little interest in continuing my service.I can't seem to reach Verizon either (or when I do they say they can't hear and please call back or if online it mysteriously drops). That's when/if I finally get through and extended waiting for them to not be busy. Going into a store as a last resort and I had to wait an hour and a half to talk to someone who essentially told me I needed to call Verizon. SO frustrating!

As the feature is part of your scanner set up nd not iPhoto, you'd need to ask the makers of that for help.

I connected my Canon printer to time capsule, and can print OK. However, I can't get the printer scanner to work. How do you set up the scanner with Time Capsule?
You cannot use USB. It has to be a network capable printer.. is it?? You did not indicate how it is connected.. but by wireless or ethernet then scanning is possible otherwise not.

I am having difficulty getting my scanner (HP5590 Scanjet) working with my MacBook Pro, can anyone help please. It did work alright with my IBM notebook.
There's a new driver bundle for OSX 10.6 that you might need to install, the HP link seems to be failing at the moment but there's a version of it here: HP_Installer_Scanjet_v2.4.3_Ph4.dmg

Just got an ipad air and why creating my apple ID with credit card, a CODE was requested in the itunes gift card/ itunes gift in order to preceed with the form but I don't have the code. Please how can I find the code so as to enable me complete the form successfully. Thanks alot
The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway. -
How do I get the scanner working on my Officejet 4500? I am working with an Apple MacBook Air
It took me hours to get the printer connected to my MacBook Air and my MacBook Pro. It now prints wirelessly. Great.
I now cant get the scanner working. What do I need to do? Please walk me through. Also, is it complicated to get it to photocopy???

To make a copy, click the right or loft arrow till Copy B&W or Copy Color is shown on the screen, then click the Start button (The big green button).

How to use Ajax Get Multiple Values in Tabular form?

I am trying to use AJAX to get multiple values in tabular form by using Denes Kubicek's example in the following link -

Basically, I want to use the drop down list to populate rest of the values on the form.
I have created the example(Ajax Get Multiple Values, application 54522) on Oracle site -

I was able to duplicate his example on page 1 (home page).
However, I want to use system generate tabular form to finish this example, and was not able to populate the data correctly.
Page 2 (method 2) is the one that I am having trouble to populate the column values. When I checked application item values in Session, and the values seems to be populated correctly.
This is what I have done on this page:

Now, T_ROWNUM2 returns value as f03_0001. But, TEMPORARY_APPLICATION_ITEM2 returns as [object HTMLSelectElement]...

The XML that was returned by your XML process would be something like

When you don't use apex_item to create your tabular form a item in the table will look like

How to get HttpServletRequest parameters from two forms in a JSP
I have this JSP with two forms calling the same servlet. Problem is, when I use a submit button in the second form, I am unable to retrieve the request parameters from the form through the servlet. I am wondering if anybody could give me some info on how to get the request parameters from the second form. I tried to see all the parameter names in the request by calling request.getParameterNames(). But the parameters in the second form are not even seen in the request although I am clicking the submit button in this form!
First, two forms works fine in one jsp so no need to argue about that.
Second, did you put the form actions and type ("multipart/formdata " ?) explicit in every form header ? Did you supply different form names ?
Try to call the submit function through javascript - document.forms[0].submit() for your first, and document.forms[1].submit() for your second form...
Did you forget to close the form tag by chance ? -
Help needed with this form in DW
Hi, i have created this form in dreamweaver but ive got this problem.
In the fields above the text field, the client needs to fill in some info such as name, email telephone number etc.
But the problem is when ill get the messages. Only the text from the large text field is there.
What did i do wrong??

Variables of one task is getting messed up with other tasks
Hi,
I have one workflow (one subworflow is getting called by this workflow) which is using some global variables. The problem is that when more than one users are making simultaneous requests (not neccessarily at same time), values of global variables of one request are getting messed up with other's requests. Even at start of workflow I am assigning null value to these variables. I am using IdM 7.0. Can anyone provide any clue on this?

Value of comments are cached somehow and in other request, when other user is opening the same form for making request, it is getting displayed in comment field. I have tried all the way of making null to this variable, but no luck. And it is not happening all time, it is intermittent and happens only in few cases.

Finally got my Pixma MX 420 into my wireless network with new laptop and Windows 8. I can't find the scanner functions like it had before on two of my old computers. How do I get the scanner window back?

The scanner function is available through the bundled software that comes with the printer. Since you have Windows 8, you probably needed to download the drivers from our website. You can download the scanning software, MP Navigator, from our website. I will include instructions to download below.
Please perform the following to download the software from our website:
1. Visit Canon's web site at:
http://www.canontechsupport.com
2. Click on SUPPORT & DRIVERS. On the Support & Drivers page, select your model in the following manner:
a. From the first menu, select PRINTERS & MULTIFUNCTIONS.
b. From the second menu, select PIXMA MX SERIES.
c. From the third menu, click DRIVERS & SOFTWARE beside the PIXMA MX420.
3. Select Windows using the drop down menu SELECT OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION, then select your version of Windows 8 using the SELECT OS VERSION drop down box.
4. Click SOFTWARE.
5. Click on MP Navigator EX.
6. Instructions for completing the download and installation will appear on the page that follows. You will also see a disclaimer at the bottom. Review the disclaimer, and click I AGREE - BEGIN DOWNLOAD.
7. Once the download is complete, double click on the downloaded file to start the installation. Follow the onscreen instructions to install.
