Get SECURITY FAILURE message when trying to log into everthing

We just got DSL and are able to browse the internet, but evertime we try to login into any account, (ebay, hotmail, myspace, etc) that require a username and password, we get the security failure (it also says something about encryption) message that pops up onto the screen. We have tried using Internet Explorer and Firefox with no luck. Cookies does not seem to be the problem.

I am getting this message too. It is not limited to Firefox, I am getting the same message (sometimes the box and wording is a little different) in Safari and even Opera. My elderly mother called me from the the other side of California confused about what to do and how to access her emails. I know that it is not my computer, I have five with different operating systems and browsers. The last time I called Verizon tech support they ran me around in circles for almost two hours and after I spent the next week complaining to anyone that I could find in customer relations they finally called me back and said they had a problem with their server and it was not my fault after all. The official response to me was "We are sorry you had that problem, we will look into it." I would not be surprised that the solution that Verizon comes up to fix this problem is to install (buy) their "security suite" and this problem will be magically fixed.

• I have deleted two videos off my Iphone 5 and I'm getting an error message when trying to log into iCloud

Hi,
I ahve deleted 2 videos by mistake and was wondering if they would be on my iCloud?

If they were in your camera roll and on your phone when you last backed up, they would be included in your iCloud backup. If you restored the entire backup you should recover them.

• I get an error message when trying to sign into the support community with another Apple id. On the pick a username screen I get "an account utilizing this address already exists...." despite trying a few usernames. Anyone know how I can resolve this?

I get an error message when trying to sign into the support community with another Apple id. On the <pick a username> screen I get "an account utilizing this address already exists.Only one account per email address is allowed on the Apple Support Communities" despite trying a few usernames. Anyone know how I can resolve this?

This problem has been driving me demented. The instructions that Ivan gives have partially worked for me. By following his link
"How to find out if you have multiple Apple IDs" I was able to identify that yes I did have two apple accounts using the same e mail address. One was very old that I used to use for the forum boards and one is my much more recent ID that I use for everything these days. So I changed the e mail address for the old account which is associated with these discussion boards and that's the account that I am now posting this from. However even though the two accounts now have different e mail addresses when I try to log onto the boards with my more recent main apple ID I still get all the same errors as described at the start of this thread by rodgers_j. And of course that's the one I want to use so that I only have one itunes account for everything.
So if anyone has any more hints I'd be very grateful.

• Firefox 15.0.1 gives an error message when trying to log into my account @u.boisestate.edu

I'm at student at Boise State. When I try to log into my broncomail account, or when I try to access broncomail through the Firefox Mail, I get the following message.
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.
Cookies are not disabled, and I've not had this problem with prior versions of Firefox.
The other thing I'm noticing is that the little green circle on the tabs for Blackboard and BroncoWeb often never seem to stop spinning.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
*https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

• Still getting "Unknown Server Error" when trying to log into CC Desktop App

Hi -- I signed up for the early access file/font sync and received my email saying "You're In..."
When I used the link in that email to download the CC Desktop App and when I launch it, I'm still receiving the error "Unknown Server Error" Sign in is currently unavailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later.
Anyone run into a similar situation or have thoughts on how to remedy this?
Thanks in advance!
Kristina

Solution 2 from this help article http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html should resolve the problem.

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)

Indeed you do, limit of three accounts exists for every device. You can use old icloud accounts or create account on new device and then sign in on that phone. That limit is only for creating and not for use.

I also found this in another post
These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.)
