Getting an error that the iMessage cannot be initialized - why now, I have been using it for the last 3 years?

I cannot send iMessages anymore (have been able to do so for the last 3 years) and when I go Settings / Messages / the iMessage is OFF so when I turn it on it returns an error saying that iMessage cannot be initialized and that I should sign on with my Apple ID, which I did, but it still gives me the error.
Why is this happening and what can be done?

It won't be anything to do with Acrobat.
It may well be something with whatever created the PDF, the settings in whatever made the PDF, etc.
Does this happen with every PDF that you do not recreate by printing to PDF (I presume from Acrobat)?
If this is limited to particular PDFs from a particular application and the creator of the PDF is not an Adobe product, what created them?
If it is just some PDFs, can you upload one to dropbox.com and provide a link to it?

If you have Mac OS X 10.4 or newer then do this:
• Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
• Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
• Install the new version that you have downloaded.
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
Prior to trying this I opened my Profile Folder and then opened My Account to see if my bookmarks were there - I did not find my bookmarks.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 110 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

You can add the icon of the missing Pages on your Dock or open Pages from the Apple menu > Recent Items list.
Or you can archive Pages 5 so that it doesn't automatically open.

I have windows 7 and have been using Firefox for the last several months and now I can' open it up for some reason.

I've been using firefox as my principle browser for quite some time. I normally just click on it once and it opens to the home page with google search in the middle of the page. I downloaded some e-mail attachment about a job and that's when it seemed to act up. I ran a scan on my computer and it says there is no problems but I still can't open up Firefox home page by clicking on the fox/world icon.

I paid for Lightroom and have been using it for over a year now. Ive just tried to open the app and it's asking me for a serial number.

I purchased LR just over a year ago, has been working fine until I tried to open the app this evening and it's now asking me for my serial number. There is also no past records of product purchase in my CC account. Has anyone had this problem before and how can I fix it as I am now back on a 30 day trial.

Have you subscribed to the creative cloud photography package?
If you have, does Lightroom show as being available to install from the CC application manager?
Did you update your Lightroom just before this problem started?

I have been using Firefox for over 10 years with minimal problems, but recently (within the past 2 months) something has changed and I cannot get any sound to play, even on previous web sites that did work. I'll just have to go back to IE!

Windows XP, Firefox 3.6.13 version, I am thinking it would be better to back up to a previous version of Firefox that did work! What was the latest version as of October 2010?

Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

Try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
Click to view full size
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.
If Roddy's suggestions fail to help continue with this:
1 - open iPhoto and select a couple of photos.
2 - use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option.
Give it a couple of tries if the first one doesn't help.

My wifi button isn't working and my iPhone 6 doesn't letme connect to wifi so I have been using 4G for the last 2 days! How can I fix it ?

OOkay so yesterday my phone kept stuffing up and blacking out so I had to keep rebooting it
i think it did this about 5 times, the first time it did it and I turned it back on
eeverything was fine , but then my wifi button went blue and even in settings the option to turn it on isn't available

Try doing this:
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Connections
Phone will reboot, you will have to enter your WiFi Passwords again - BUT should resolve the problem.

TS1347 I have been using Outlook for years...so an account has been set up...but I still cannot move events created on my iphone to outlook...events created on outlook do go to the iphone.

I recently purchased an iphone and am trying to get the phone to sync with Outlook. I have been using Outlook for years, my last phone was a palm and I had hard sync capability. Trying to use Wi-Fi, and have also tried hard wired...when I create an event on my phone it will not show up in Outlook. If I create an event in Outlook it will show up on the phone. Any ideas on how to make this work? The help line says I need to set up Outlook...and to run the Wizard...but that has been done.

I have the app "Today is +"   I have been using it for about 2 years. I usually send backup by email to my home computer. I noticed the other day that I have NOT been receiving my backups since July!   When I send it from my Itouch it does give me a "message sent." I have done all the updates and restarted my Itouch and computer. No luck. I have iOS 6.1.3.
