Getting and error when I zip files

I zipped a file on my mac then uploaded it to my ftp then from there I downloaded it but not when I try unzip it, it gives me this error (Error 1 - Operation not permitted.) why is it doing this?

Hi Matt - to narrow down where the error gets introduced I would recommend the following steps:
1. unzip the file in its original location, i.e. on the original computer where to zipped the file up initially
2. upload the zip file, then download it back to your original computer and unzip it
3. upload the zip file, then download it to your destination computer and unzip it (I guess this is the scenario you described in your original post and therefore I would expect this step to fail)
If unzipping fails at one step then you don't need to do the remaining steps and we have identified where the error occurs.

Please uninstall iTunes, Then install iTunes again. Error 2(Windows error 2)".... I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the error still occurs!!! This started happening after I installed the 10.3 update

I took the time to research it and come across a couple of people who experienced the same trouble and so I listed some of there steps(with Credits) and some people said that they worked.

3. Disable Firewall/Security software.
4. Run install. Note that it installs Application Support and a bunch of other software this time.

What's the error message did you get? It would be better to provide a screenshot for your problem.
Generally speaking, this problem can be caused by third party adds-on of IE. You can try to start IE with no adds-on mode for test.
Open run, type iexplore -extoff, pess
Enter.
If it works properly, please chck which plugin enabled in your browser, try to disable them for test.
In addition, this can also be caused by IE settings, try to reset IE for test.

TIF images scrambled and error when opening NEF file

Hello,
Not sure what happened, but when I open .tif images in CS5 the display screambled.
When I open the NEF image adn hen press the Open Imge button in Camera Raw 6.6 dialog, sometimes I get the following error message and other times the image opens but it also scrambled like the image above.
Is this Camera Raw issue? I have 6.6 which is the latest.
The NEF and TIF images display correctly in Lightroom 3.5.

The issue was definatly with OpenGL. However, when I upgraded the driver the problem did not go away. Plus the there was no option to turn off OpenGL in the graphic card it self. What I did is, I opened Preferences -> Performance in Photoshop and unchecked Enable OpenGL Drawings box which located above the "Advance Settings" button. After that the images displayed correctly.

I get and error when trying to burn a audio CD

I am tring to burn an audio cd of something I created in Final cut pro x and when I put the files in itunes and select burn to disc it spits out the disc and says "unknown error occured (-50)". I tried using .wav and .aiff no luck with either. I already searched the forum for this problem and didn't find any thing that worked.

Tried restarting your computer?
Error -50 is a generic "communications" error message which means just about anything. It could really be a communication error with your optical drive (loose cable, bad drive, bad controller, etc.), or an issue with your hard drive (connection, formatting, a whole list of anything else you can imagine). It could also be a host of non-obvious communications.
The place to start is to keep things as simple as possible and try to test individual links in the burning process. Can you burn outside of iTunes? Have you tried a slower burn speed? (Some utilities let you turn off the laser while test burning so you don't use up a lot of discs.)

If I bring up fire fox and not connected to internet I get and error when I shut it down and connect to the internet and bring firefox up it will not open unless I remove the prosses in task manager is this normal

when shuting down Firefox after not being connected to the internet the processes remains and I have to go into task manager and remove the process manually or I get a message that Firefox is already started and it will not come up

Sofar I have found (off internet),
A)that if you go into sleep mode, the wifi shuts down or powers down.
B)sleep mode must be disabled in order for wifi to continue.
C)you can check this by going into wifi and seeing the iphone every 20 seconds or so looking.
D)as far as handoff ,I still not to sure but I think BOOTH units must overlap each other in order to handoff from 1 to the other.
Show much bs on the web that I have to filter the pages and there not enough time in the day to go thru it all.

Why do I get and error when attempting to install the lighting calendar that it is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5..

I am using firefox 34.0.5, my thunderbird is 31.3.0 and I am attempting to install the lightning calendar. I checked the compatibility list. I downloaded the correct version of lightning and each time i attempt to install any version it fails and gives me the errors that this version is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5. I have tried five different versions of Lightning with the same results.

I keep getting an error when trying to install Java for OS X 2014-001

I was trying to download this because I was getting errors when trying open some applications saying you need Java 6 and it directed me to the download link for this but it always gets and error when installing.

I get an error when trying to import MP3 files in iTunes?

When I try to import mp3 files into iTunes (version 6), I get an error message of:
The file "song file name" can not be imported An unknown error has occurred (-50).
I have already imported these files into iTnes on my old computer, but run into this problem with my new laptop. I downloaded a new version of iTunes just like I installed all my new programs on this new laptop.
For some reason, I run into this problem when trying to import any mp3 files (as mentioned, even mp3 files that I successfully imported into iTunes previously).
(I've tried a complete removal and re-install, but that didn't help)
Anyone know why I'm getting this error message and how to correct things?

I would get an external drive today and copy all your stuff off the TC.. forget trying to load more onto it. There is a good chance after 3years (A 2TB should be only about 2years tops), the disk or the TC itself is on the way out. Do it immediately. If TM is also failing to backup you need to recognise symtoms of impending doom.
Unfortunately the error messages are archane and it is hard to discover their meaning.
You also cannot verify a network drive.. you can verify the TM sparsebundle though so do that.

Reboot the whole network from off.. certainly if you run later OS it can simply lose the drive..
If you still fail to be able to copy to the TC.. then get that external and copy off it. Tell us if you can do that.

I get the error message "Missing PDFMaker files" when trying to convert a microsoft word document(.docx)

When I right click the word file and select Convert to Adobe PDF, I get the error message "Missing PDFMaker files".
