Getting back up after disc crash

The hard drive died on my ibook, so I had to have a new one installed and completely reload the software. I had my itunes library backed up on another computer on the network, so was able to import it.
Now when I attach my ipod to the ibook, the ipod says "do not disconnect," and seems to be doing something important, but even overnight it doesn't finish. If I unplug (either before or after dismounting) I can use the ipod, but I can't sync it with the computer, and itunes doesn't seem to see it. If I open the ipod, I see the calendar, etc, but no music.
Should I just wait? How long will it take? Resetting the ipod does not help, and I have the most current software installed.

What I think it could have happened also is the following: When I first bought my device 2 years ago, I used my artistic name for address and information purposes. After I have restored my device this week, I put my real name but I still kept the same icloud username.

I have a MacBook Pro bought late 2011. Runs on Mavericks. Recently it became very slow and one day last week while using it, the rainbow cursor spun for over 15 minutes after which it was restarted by pressing the power button. After that, it went directly to OS X Utilities giving me options to
- Restore from Time Machiine back up (which i do not have),
- Disk Utility (the message there was "Live System Repair is not supported")
- Get online help (here)
- Reinstall OS (but the harddisk is not recognised)
When attempting to download the recovery file online, the attached picture is the result. (Error code -2100F).
Please what can be done to restore the Macbook? Wiping it out and losing data is ok with me.

I suspect that your HDD is the problem.
See if you can boot into the recovery partition, OPTION down. If you can, from the four option menu select Disk Utility. Then run Disk Utility>First Aid, Verify and Repair.
If that fails, try to boot your MBP OPTION+COMMAND+R which should result in a display with a revolving globe. This connects your MBP to Apple servers and will install the original OSX that came with the MBP. Try to repair the HDD first. You will need a solid Internet connection.
If no success, then it is a trip to the Apple store genius bar and/or a new HDD.

How do i get back tabs after f/f is closed by a crash?

After each of the last few F/F updates and after a few Windows updates, my open session was reset. When I look for system restore I cannot find the b****y thing. And this really p****s me off!!
Since F/F has recently been "improved" (like hell it has!!! - even the menu bar is hidden by default amongst most other useful items), I'm guessing Session Restore is also deplaced to improve "my F/F experience".
Can someone please tell me how to return to my unimproved experience as provided by F/F before version 24-ish particularly how to restore tabs?

IPhone 6 Blue Screen Crash Now my Phone will not stop crashing: Has Not turned back on after last crash.

I very recently got my new iPhone 6. I got it on new years eve. I'm not sure what version of the OS it is on, but I'm going to assume it is on the latest, 8.1.2. Today has been the only day i have had an issue. Earlier in the day the phone froze and the Wifi was showing to only have one bar. They Phone then shut off and flashed a red screen for about a second. After that, I had no issues for a few hours. Later that night the phone crashed three times. 2 of them showed a blue screen before crashing. The third time the phone would not let me open any apps and then just shut down, and as of right now it has not turned back on. Is there a way to fix this or am I going to have to replace my phone?

I was able to turn it on but when I turned on WiFI the apps would not open and the phone crashed again and turned off.

How to get back HDD after ejecting ?

Hi guys,
I tried to import some files into FCE. The files is located in my external HDD.
After clicking click import, the finder comes out & I am supposed to click the icon of the external HDD but I accidentally clicked the triangle icon thus causing the external HDD to eject.
In order to get the icon of the external HDD back again so I can do the import, I restart the whole system but I think this is too time consuming.
Is there a way to get the external HDD back without having to restart the whole system ?

All of my music is installed in a folder named iTunes Music on a USB external hard drive. Everything was working fine until yesterday. I might have made a mistake. Without the external hard drive attached to my laptop, I downloaded and installed the most recent version of iTunes for windows. With the external drive attached, I opened iTunes and the library is gone and the entire music panel in iTunes is empty. I tried to change the library back to F:iTunes Music, the folder where the music is stored, but nothing happened. What do I do now? Please help.

Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact. Help getting back in after deauthorizing

I use overdrive to checkout books from the library on my ipad. Because of the ios7 update i was told to shut overdrive down and deauthorize adobe then open all back up and log back in. All was good until i tried to log back in to adobe now its telling me incorrect password. I called the library and she gave me the correct password but it still wont let me in. unfortunately apple has made it so that an ipod can only be synced to one computer. when you sync ur ipod to a computer but ur ipod already has different material on it, all the other different material you already had on ur ipod will be erased when you sync it to another computer
