Getting error while invoking wsdl

Hi,
I have installed WCC 11.1.1.6. I have downloaded the WSDL from WebCenter Content for CheckIn. While hitting the WSDL through SOAPUi, I got the error "The request requires user authentication. The response MUST include a WWW-Authenticate header field (section 14.46) containing a challenge applicable to the requested resource. The client MAY repeat the request with a suitable Authorization header field (section 14.8). If the request already included Authorization credentials, then the 401 response indicates that authorization has been refused for those credentials. If the 401 response contains the same challenge as the prior response, and the user agent has already attempted authentication at least once, then the user SHOULD be presented the entity that was given in the response, since that entity MAY include relevant diagnostic information. HTTP access authentication is explained in section 11".

When you are invoking your page, does your view object has an empty row where data can go and presist?
Create a an empty row in your view object(vo.createRow()) , or use create operation from data control palette.
You can set the log in Tools->Preferences-->Environment-->Log.

Error while invoking WSDL file

Hi All,
I am invoking a WSDL file from BPEL in which i have to send an XML to Webservice, I have the WSDL file in my local system and im invoking thru invoke activity when i am running the process im geting the following error

Hi Nagaraju,
Is the server where the service is deployed internal or external in regard ti your bpel server? If it is internal and you can not ping it then there is something wrong with your network settings, e.g. your ip, netmask or gateway settings. In this case can you ping other servers in your local network? If it is a service which you call on the internet there may be two problems.
- Your server can not resolve the hostname. Then you must either configure your dns correctly or add entries to your host file which is a bad practice for internet addresses because they are subjected to change, try if you can lookup the ip from your bpel server with 'nslookup servername'
- Your network is protected by a firewall which does not allow you to access the internet directly. If there is a proxy server in your network you can add it to your bpel oc4j container settings. Go to EM website, select your oc4j_bpel container, administration tab, server properties, change -Dhttp.proxySet=false to -Dhttp.proxySet=true, add -Dhttp.proxyHost=myproxy.company.com, add -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080, add -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=bpelserver.company.com (offcourse you have to replace myproxy.company.com and bpelserver.company.com with your own settings)

Getting error while invoking client interface method as a web service

I have written one custom method inAppModuleImpl and include that custom method into the AppModule's Client Interface(AppModule-->Java-->ClientInterface).
It autogenerates two java classes: ClientInterfaceImpl class and interface class. I right clicked on ClientInterfaceImpl class and select the option create webservice proxy. Then I deployed my application into the WL Server. There I am able to see the webservice. But when I test the webservice and invoke the method. It is throwing the below exception:

Getting error while calling WSDL service. JDev 11.4

I am using Jdev 11.4.
I am trying to create and webservice proxy from the WSDL. But whenever i am using the WSDL URL its giving an following error.
The server sent HTTP status code 407.
I tried setting proxy but still facing same issue.
Please help on this.

Still the status code means that you need to give user name and password for the proxy server. So there is your problem.As we don't know your environment (and don't know the user name and password for the proxy server) we can't help.

Getting error while invoking relational physical DS for sybase stored proc

I have created a physical DS function using "relational" in the wizard and connecting to sybase ASE stored procedure that is in unchained mode. I had configured the JDBC pool using BEA sybase non-XA 12.x driver.
When i run the physical DS (or logical DS), i get the above error. The sybase srever(and stored proc) is hosted by an external system and right now i do not have access/contacts to change anything.
After hours spent googling, it appears that the fix may possibly be setting "set chained off" before calling the stored proc. To achieve that, i tried the below two methods but nothing seems to work:
- In the JDBC URL, set property via ?chained=off (also tried false instead of "off")
- In Admin console/JDBC connection pool configuration/initSQL tried "SQL SET CHAINED OFF" and "SET CHAINED OFF"

I tried using java physical DS and get the same error. I wrote a test stored proc in my local PC sybase ASE and it runs fine. But i connected as "sa".
I would like to exhaust all possible options from my side before making the long process of getting something changed in the external sybase DB like setting the proc mode to "anymode".
Please help.

Getting error while invoking ADF Start and End Dates

So now at Design Time i have Query 2, but Strangely at RUN Time Query 1 is Excecuting asking for "Start Date" Binding Variable NOT Found (as there is no Start Date Bind Variable in Query 1)
for this i have to re-Design the required Part...to make it work

Error while writing wsdl file

i' m working on jdeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 and when i want to add a partner link to my BPEL project i get 'error while writing wsdl file' 'exception null' error then i couldn't create file.
so how can i solve this problem?

Once the wrapper procedure is created by the adapter, the adapter does a second search to obtain the information about the wrapper (i.e. parameters, their data types, etc.). What's likely happening here is that the wrapper is getting created, but the adapter can't find it. The XSD is based on the wrapper, so if it can't be found, then no XSD can be generated. Try removing the existing wrapper package or choose that option in the wizard when it generates a new one.

I am having a JCA connector which is calling the CCA Method.
CCA uses the web services for method invocation and i have created the jar file for the web service proxies. teh proxies are of RPC type. I have include the jar file in the connector project for reference.
I have written a webservice client which will get the connection abject and invoke a method which internally invokes the CCA method.
During this time it is giving this error.
Please note that i have included the wsclient-extend.jar file ,wsclient jar file in both the connector project and the client project.

You have to add the jaxrpc library in the server.xml configuration of your embedded oc4j.
Line:
<import-shared-library name="oracle.ws.jaxrpc"/>
You have to do this twice: in the adf.oracle.domain and the adf.generic.domain shared lib entries.
Then, you have to do this again in the system-application.xml file (only once).

Hi,
Using the exact same wsdl i was able to get a response from the HTTP service using OSB. I created a business service targeting this wsdl. Then created a proxy service to route the xml to the business service.
I was able to successfully invoke and get response from the HTTP service without making any change to the wsdl.
Could this be a bug in BPEL PM? Should I raise an SR?

Can anyone please help me with this error.

I checked my server (which has all the default Adobe services) and the only service I have that comes close is:
the Repository service's "Read Resource Content" operation. In the list that comes up as RepositoryService.
The Barcode's Extract to XML service. In the list that comes up as BarcodedFormsService
Neither of these is an exact match to the error. Is your process calling a sub process you built? Does that service actually exist on the server? If you do a record/playback (in workbench) on which step does the process fail?
If you look through the entire list of SOAP services (in Adminui) are any of them disabled?

Error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from Oracle BPEL..

Hi ,
We are facing some error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from our BPEL Process on the windows platform(SOA 10.1.3.3.0).

but sttill,after deploying it and passing values in it,we are getting the following error on the console :-
“Header [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing:Action] for ultimate recipient is required but not present in the message”
Any pointers in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply.
We've tried to call that web service from an HTML designed in Visual Studios with the same username and password and its working fine.
But on the BPEL console, we are getting the error as mentioned.
Also if you can tell me how to set the user name and password in the header of the parter link.I could not find how to do it.
