iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing the same issue. When I googled the error, it seemed like it was happening extremely often with many people.
We all love their products, but they always come with a lot of issues and horrible customer support.
My apple Id is [email protected]My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. Every time I TRY to start firefox 18-19 I get an error message : "Firefox has stopped working" - "close the program and check online for a solution" - or - "close the program" this happens TWICE every time I try to start firefox. Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. I am useing firefox 19.0.2 now bit I belive it started when I upgraded to firefox 18 but am not sure, it might have been when I upgraded to firefox 19 ... but it has been happening for a very long time and I cannot find any helpfule solutions online.

I can no longer charge my iPhone5 through either of my macbook pros. I get the error message that a USB device is using too much power. Can anyone help?
I reconnected the original powered hub that I thought probably caused the problem and this time it shut down the whole computer. When I rebooted everything now works perfectly. The system reset. I tried another powered hub and it didn't have the same effect so the old one is heading for the bin and with fingers crossed all systems are now working perfectly. Trying to reset PRAM or reset the SMC didn't work but causing the same power issue did. Thanks for your input though. It did get me to think what was the original cause.

Every time I try and install an extension for Safari I get the error message "Safari can’t install this extension, An error occurred while installing the extension “Pin It Button”." I have all the latest updates, working on OS X Yosemite v 10.10.2 / Safari v 8.0.3. Any suggestions?

Hopefully, my question will appear with this comment. I'm new to Apple support. I really wanted an answer from Apple's billing/accounting department. I didn't think I'd need to submit it to a whole community to get an answer. I just want to change my account number to my business credit card but every time I try I get the error message that this account is not connected to my bank. Why is that necessary? It's my WORK credit card. It's not going to be connected to my personal bank account. I'm sure I'm not the only one that purchases work-related items from iTunes. What can I do to use this credit card when I am purchasing something for work? Can anyone assist me?
First, please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. The only people who will reply to your posts are we your fellow users. iTunes Support will never respond to posts made here.
As to your issue, confirm with your bank that they do not block access from on-line services or otherwise have restrictions on with whom a card can be used. For some company cards, such blocks can be set up. If you confirm that no such restrictions are in place, post back and we'll go from there.

i plugged in my ipod and now i get the error message: Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled" - i have a MAcBook pro and now my USB ports do not work - can anyone help me ???
Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?

Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
Restart machine and then try to install again.
*** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem.
