How can we get the logical system name from where RFC is being called?

If your company follows the SAP recommendations on naming [logical systems|http://help.sap.com/SAPHELP_NW70/helpdata/EN/da/5990df015b5b43a36f6ce7fa1ee8c0/content.htm] <b><SystemID>"CLNT"<Client></b> then you should get away with a simple call to RFC_GET_ATTRIBUTES (and even if they don't, the function module might possibly provide other clues required to build the logical system name).
There might be other ways, but I'm kind of suspecting that the logical system name of the calling system might not be part of the communication data (like other readily available data as IP address etc.). So if this solution doesn't work, it might be helpful to understand how the naming conventions for logical systems used by your company.

This is for a requirement that i need to develop an automated process where we can reset the password of all the child system in a CUA environemt when requested by the user at once .
I found some tables such as V_TBDLS , but they do not contain the exact information what i need .

Hi,
You are in the right track. BD54 will show you the logical system name for all the existed systems in CUA.
Else you can also go to your CUA system and execute t-code SALE --> Basic Setting --->Logical Systems ---> Assign logical system to client -
> Display details
here you can see logical system names for all the clients assigned to CUA.

Setup Logical System from blank

the default logical system of client 100 is blank
now we have to set a logical system for ALE and BW data transfer
but we found that some documents will not be transfer and some document cound not be found
eg: we cant found the FI documents from material document as MB53
debug the program we found that the programe check the logical system
is there any way to change the old documents logical system to new?
i found there is a sap note to describe how to change the logical system from a old value to new
but it not suit the situation of set new logical system from blank value.

You need to create the logical system name and assign that to that client.
This can be done in Transaction :SALE.
Have a look at the t-code SALE and its options....
SALE->Basic settings->Logical system---- we have three options.
one is for creation ,assigning itto client ,other one is coversion.:Last one is only called BDLS .(little critical)

How to check from Where a Program is Called in SAP ABAP?

In SAP subroutine message_append in program LATPCFM2 has been called for purchase order as well as delivery (create, change, display).
I want some custom code to be added in this subroutine by which I would know from where it is being called for "delivery creation".
Or any way to know the called place.

     I want to add one more thing to your explanation, While enhancing the standard Program, it will be used in several Places for Different purpose. Instead of Checking from Where it is Called, Check with for what conditions the Custom Code Should get executed and the Required Values are present in the attribute. It will work better if we add Some IF conditions Before Our Custom Code otherwie it may lead to Dump.
EX: If SY-Tocde = 'VA01' or SY-Tocde = 'VA02' or SY-Tocde = 'VA03'.

Hello Experts,
I am trying post goods receipt in EWM system in a simple inbound delivery process. It is not getting posted back in ECC. I have my RFC connection setup properly(I assume since I was able to transfer inbound delivery to EWM in first place).It seems some setting related to Outbound queue in EWM is missing.Can anyone tell me in detail what settings are required?Is it something to do with WE20 transaction?I am not sure what settings should be done there.The error log is as below-

Diagnosis
An RFC destination should be specified for the logical system SB3CLNT011.
This could not be done in this case. SB3CLNT011 is not your local logical system

I have checked remote connection in SM59 for both the logical system.It works fine.I understand this is more of a technical issue,but I don't have A local basis team to help me so reaching out to experts here.Can you guide me what technical settings could be checked for EWM-->ECC connection?When I execute BD82 for SB3CLNT011 it shows me green status with message "No messages have been defined for the selection conditions in the model".
Although when I do this for EWM logical system SB3CLNT012 it shows me this with all green status-

I have a requirement of saving the excel file that has been send to SAP system from a B2B site.
Currently there is a call to the SAP system from the B2B site via an RFC function ,this RFC functions gets the excel file as an input to the SAP system,i need to store this Excel file in the SAP (as an excel file itself).
How can i acheive this?

You can extract a date portion and assign to the variable and then compare with GETDATE()

Thanks, that will work, but then I'll have to insert code into all my reports.
I can see that "Application Server Control Console" is able to rerun a report.
This must mean that the Report Server has access to the runtime parameters.
But how?

or yo ucan use the fm:
HR_JP_MONTH_BEGIN_END_DATE
usage:
    call function 'HR_JP_MONTH_BEGIN_END_DATE'
         exporting
              iv_date             = sy-datum
         importing
              ev_month_begin_date = gv_begda
              ev_month_end_date   = gv_endda.

I need to create a variant and schedule a report program once a day.
But variant must get the current date from the system (sy-datum).
The program should run for the values in the variant in schedule job run;
Can I do this using SAP variants (for Report Program) and schedule the job.

if the issue was from beginning (dead on arrival) you can call the apple hotline and they can create a replacment for you.
but if the issue wasnt from beginning than it is a cosmetical issue, cosmetical issues are not covered by the apple warranty. than you should make an appointment in an apple retail store and hope that the workers there replace that device.
