I keep getting an error when entering my gift card with this message...
"Your iTunes Store(US) does not match that of the gift certificate(Canadian)
I know it's cause it's from Canada I live here, so how do I make it so that my store is Canadian or w/e to fix this problem please help thanks.

In iTunes, click on iTunes Store and change the country at the bottom of the window, scrolling down as needed.

No, it's not true. Most in-app purchases can be made with a credit balance from a gift card, though not all (automatically renewing subscriptions, for instance, probably require a credit card). I regularly make in-app purchases with a credit balance.

ITunes gift card problem when trying to buy a $0.99 app

i have an iTunes gift card on my iPod touch 4g and my balance was $5.86 at the time and i tried to buy Angry Birds for $0.99 and it said insufficient funds, after it said that i checked the remaining balance and somehow it was at $0.36, what happened to all my money i had left which was $5.86?

Go to yur iTunes account and look at your purchase history for recent purchases. Also have yu received any email confirnation of purchases?

ITunes gift card problem

I got an iTunes gift card for Christmas and I was making an account in iTunes (I had always put music from CDs onto my ipod, rather than purchasing from iTunes, so I'm new to this). I made the account, put in a credit card number, and then clicked Redeem so I could use the gift card. When I tried to purchase a song, a box popped up and asked me for my Apple ID, which I supplied, and my AOL password. I don't use AOL, so I figured I could make an account there so I could proceed with using my gift card. There was a New Account button near the AOL password request. I clicked it, assuming it meant a new account on AOL, not Apple. Now I can't get signed back in to my iTunes account, and when I tried to redeem my gift card anyway, I entered the code from the back of the gift card and it said that the card had already been redeemed, when I actually haven't used it at all yet. This is very frustrating and will be a waste of $25 if I end up not being able to use the gift card.
Can someone please help me?

Becaue you had already Redeemed the card onto your account. The credit is on the account you put it on (not sure which one).

Just bought an App Store card from woollies, but have problem redeeming the card in App Store. After put in the code under the scratchie, the App Store comes up with an error : the code entered has not been properly activated. please help what I need to do to get it working.

Yes, the retailer is supposed to activate the card. Otherwise they'd lose hundreds to shoplifting. What you normally should do is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, or this was a gift so you cannot contact the retailer, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
