GL Account Key displays Chart of accounts concatenated with GL Account

Hi,
When we pull the GL Account Key object into a WEBI report, the Chart of Account value is concatenating with the GL Account number like ABDA/253616. In Bex Query, choosing the Chart of accounts and GL Account in the Analyser gives only the number value of the GL Account 253616.
How do we resolve this issue.

Hi,
We had a similar problem, and we fixed it by using a variable.
Create a variable (e.g. GL Account) with the following formula:
=tonumber(replace([L01_GL_ACC_Key];"ABDA/";""))
where,
[L01_GL_ACC_Key] = Original Account key with the Chart of Accounts
"ABDA/" The piece of the account that you want removed
The formula will convert your account number to a number by replacing the "ABDA/" with a blank (the "" in the formula)
Note: There is no space between the two quotation marks
You can now use the variable in your report instead of the original account key.

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Account Assignment tab appearing in Standard PO with no account assignment

Hi SAP Gurus,
While creating Standard PO without any account assignment, the tab for account assignment is appearing in the Item overview screen. This should not appear in normal scenario.
My quantity value update is activaed for the valuation area for this particular material type.
Kindly tell me the conifg settings required for removing this tab from Item overview.

If ur not entering account assignment category, it would not come!
Check & try in Define Screen layout at Document Level of Purchase Order
SPRO -> Material Management->Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
Double Click Your Standard PO document type & also ME21 or ME21N t.code which u r using and double click that
Double Click Basic data, item in Field Selection Group
In this screen make account assignment category as Display and save.(do for
Now try creating PO.

Lync login error use self account without delete cache , but can login with others account anyway

I deployed Lync Server 2010 for my customer. it's running well for about one year.
but there are some users cannot login on lync these days. we tested the issue, the following is the test details:
- only about 20% users cannot login on lync use themselves client computers.
- when I delete the lync cache files at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator
folder, they can login on once. we must delete the folder next time when the user need login on.
- we can use other user account to login on at the above computer anyway, need not the delete the folder.
would you plese give me some advice about this case.

I would like to delete an account and all the iPhone apps associated with that account off my mac.

A friend of mine bought an iPhone 4 back in Febuary 2011 (pre-iCloud). At the time of her purchase, she was without a computer, so I allowed her to back her iPhone up to my MBP.
Since iCloud, she has no need to use my MBP for backups, restores, etc. Plus she lives 40 miles away. Her apps are still on my MBP and I have been updating them when needed, however I no longer need to have her account OR apps on my MBP.
How can I be rid of all her info and apps from my iTunes. I do have access to her account, with permission.

If by account you mean a user account then open Users & Groups preferences, select her account, click on the Delete [-] button. Choose the last option to fully remove the account. Do not check the box for Secure Erase.

my client have following requirement,
We buy a lot of raw materials in loaned packaging (drums or IBC). The
vendors are invoicing the packaging as an extra item on their invoice.
Weeks or months later when we return the packaging to them we get a
credit note.
We look now for a suitable condition type "deposit for loaned packaging"
which refers to account XXXXXX and we can use in the purchase order.
Can you create such a type ?
I have created this condition type, But as per specified account, It is used in Equipment rent,
But In MM there is no any such eqipment rent Account key. So i am confused with this issue, Where do i assgn this account no
& which acciunt key,

Hi Vani,
Think you are using version 6.0.
I had observed that TCode FAGLB03, displayes balances for particular Ledger (0L) leading by default.
While in FS10N there is no option for selecting ledger.
Try FAGLB03 with all ledgers one by one.
Add the total and then try to matc wiht FS10N.
Assign points of Good.

Can we do account determination with out account keys? and explains how?

Account determination is an FI interface with other modules inorder to determine the right G/L accounts for posting.
And account keys act as a bridge for posting the amounts between FI and other functional applications which serves as the basic purpose of any business such as revenues, discounts, stock values etc.
Therefore if you dont consider account keys while configuring account determination...........no postings will be made in to G/L accounts. then your entire business would go for a toss.

I have question about these two config settigs for pricing procedure.
1 AccKey - Account Key
2 Accruals
Standard system has some GL accounts, such as ERB,ERF,ERL,etc .
If we need to have specific GL accounts for example, vendor discount,fuel surcharge we need to cofigure them and add them in pricing procedure.
I was wondering , who would be the functional group to configure those GL accounts, FICO or SD ?
Where can see the config of GL accounts ?

Hi Done,
As per my under stand ERL, ERF and ERS are account keys not G/L accounts.
These account keys are assigned to particular G/L accounts so that integration will happend between SD and FI.
U can define ur own account keys as per client requirement. This account keys are defined by SD cunsultants.
menu path for define account keys:IMG- sales and Distribution- basic function- pricing - account assignment and costing- revenue account determination and difine and assign account key.
here u can define and assign account keys.

why both are used against condition type in the pricing procedure. like for FRA1and other provision condition types.as account key and accrual key are tied to G/L accounts.
where as only one G/L account is enough to post the amounts.

Account key is mainly used for Frieghts:
Account key enables amount to post to certain revenue accounts, for example freight charges. When you add freight related condition types, it will be added to separate G/L accounts, means this will not be added to material price.
Accruals mean accumulating:
With addition of the account key, the system can post amounts to certain types of accruals accounts. For example, rebate accruals which are calculated from pricing conditions can be posted to the corresponding account for rebate accruals.So from the above it understood that, it will accumulate all rebate related amounts to separate account.
