GL Account Should not be used

Dear Friends,
For PO-4111127913, GL account 726234 was used in the PO - item details, invoice tab.
The user now says that the GL Account should not be used untill 2010.
What is the most simple way of blocking the GL? If any user tried to select the GL in the PO, he must not able to use it or the system should issue a warning or error message " you cannot use this GL Account".
Already Some POs with this GL Account 726234 has been posted. IR and FI Documents were posted. How to reverse everything from po,IR and FI Documents.
Please suggest?

Hi,
Blocking an account is usually done for closing and reconciliation purposes so that no further activity can be posted to that account. The account can be unblocked when activity can resume.
Menu Path
From the SAP R/3 screen, select the path:
Accounting >> Financial accounting >> General ledger >>
(new menu) Master records >> G/L Accounts >> Individual Processing >> Centrally
Fast Path
At the Command Line, enter:
/NFS00
Block G/L Acct: Request Screen
Key Fields (Complete or Review)
Account number
Enter the G/L account number to be blocked / unblocked.
(F4) to access a matchcode.
Company code
Enter CUR for MIT.
Next Step...
(ENTER) to access the Block G/L Account Screen.
Block G/L Account Screen
Use this screen to block / unblock the account for different postings.
Key Fields (Complete or Review)
Posting block
All company codes
To block the account from being posted to CUR, the MIT company code, click in the box beside this field.
Planning block
All company codes
To block the account from planning, click in the box beside this field. Note: To unblock the account, click in the box to deselect.
Next Step...
(F11) to save the blocking / unblocking changes made to the G/L account. The Block G/L Acct: Request Screen reappears with a message that the changes were made.

I have created a new SharePoint Foundation 2013 Farm. I only used the Farm Configuration Wizard to create the Search Service Application, all other aspects of the Farm was created using PowerShell.
The SharePoint Health Analyzer is reporting the following error:

Now I understand how to change the account used to run the Distributed Cache Service, but my query is what account should I use in the least privelage model? I have setup the following 6 accounts as per TechNet guidelines (Link)
and am not sure if one of these accounts should be used or if another account is required:
SQL Server service account
Setup user account
Server farm account
SharePoint Server Search service account
Default content access account
Application pool identity
After reviewing the TechNet article again, I don't fully understand the section titled "Service application accounts". Is the article advising me to create a seperate account for each row in the table? e.g. 1 account for Business Data Connectivity
Service, a different account for "Application Discovery and Load Balancer Service", another account for "App management" and another account for "Distributed Cache", so 4 extra accounts if I choose to install all of these services
within the Farm?
Also, what does the article mean when it says "Plan one set of an application pool and proxy group for each service application that you plan to implement."? How do I go about doing this?

Inder: Yes, It is suggested to have multiple service account for each service application. This increases security and dependencyof 1 account on multiple Service applications. Like below
SQL Server service
Local System account (default)
Setup user
Member of the Administrators group on the local computer
Server farm
Network Service (default)
No manual configuration is necessary.
SharePoint Server Search Service
By default, this account runs as the Local System account.
If you want to crawl remote content by changing the default content access account or by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account. If you do not change this account to a domain user account, you cannot change the default content access account
to a domain user account or add crawl rules to crawl this content. This restriction is designed to prevent elevation of privilege for any other process running as the Local System account.
Default Content Access
No manual configuration is necessary if this account is only crawling local farm content. If you want to crawl remote content by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account, and apply the requirements listed for a server farm.

Inder: Each service account has a application pool and you can plan to use same application pool for multiple
service accounts if required. These application pool are then consumed by proxy connection
of each service application. On service application pool, you can see all the service applications and its proxy connection.

"The 'charCode' property of a keyup event should not be used. The value is meaningless." Is this possibly caused by a virus?

I don't know what's wrong with my Mac Mozilla Firefox, version 3.6.8, but today, it started alerting me about an error message on the "Error Console". In every website I visit, it tells me: "The 'charCode' property of a keyup event should not be used. The value is meaningless." Is this possibly caused by a virus?
I saw a pop-up which did not allow me to click it when I scatter the windows on my Mac. I was using Private Browsing, with pop-ups disabled, but one pop-up managed to get passed my settings, and open in another window. It would not allow me to select it, so all I did was to close Firefox, and start a new session. So far, everything has been normal, I also deleted the cookies it installed.
But, I still keep seeing that "Error Console" notice under my "Tools" on the Menu Bar, and when I clicked on it, it listed errors (such as what I listed above).
Would someone explain this to me?

The messages you see in the Error Console are mostly to assist the web site's author in resolving compatibility problems. Some of them can assist you in determining why a web site doesn't work as intended. The one you mentioned doesn't sound that suspicious, except that it occurs on many sites. Perhaps one of your add-ons is trying to monitor what you type?
To diagnose whether this is caused by an add-on or one of your settings, you could try the following:
First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, try starting Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.
Does that resolve the errors? If so, then an add-on usually is the culprit. If not, try creating a new (blank) profile: [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles Managing profiles].
If the new profile works correctly, you can choose between further research on your old profile or moving key settings like bookmarks from your old profile to the new one. Why doesnt HP state USB 3.0 should not be used when creating "Restore" software on a flash drive?

about 2 weeks ago I received my HP DV7TQE with Windows 7 64 Bit. First thing I did was create a "restore" backup media just in case for future use. I used a ScanDisk Cruzer 32GB Flash Drive (memory stick). The stick was in one of the USB 3.0 ports while I was creating my "restore" software. On Friday night I performed a test just to make sure my "restore" would work. Unfortunately it did not. I got "the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessable" message. After some surfing on the Internet I found out that USB 3.0 should not be used to create a "restore" software. My question is why would HP leave this little detail out from the intructions provided on the laptop at the time I was creating this?

From what I have found out it is ok to make the media on a usb 3.0 port, you just cannot restore using a 3.0 port, it should work from a 2.0 port.

Query Stripping should not be used when Aggregrate Awareness enabled.

We are having SAP BO 4.0 and underlying database is Teradata.
We are using Aggregrate awareness concept and we are having single Universe for our modules which is quite complex consisting of many tables.
each report we have created seperate queries for each functionality.
So does query stripping should be enabled/or should not be used when we have agrregrate awareness been used more widely.

This feature is not available for RDBMS in SAP BO 4.0 but it is available in BO 4.1 for RDBMS Database.Check below links for details

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! This is a common alert message when your Apple ID has not yet been configured for use with the iTunes Store. To configure it, you should have the option to “Review” - at which time you can add a payment method to your account. For more information, check out this resource:

My iTunes account sayscould not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it? whenever i click on a song and i didn't move the songs anywhere. I don't know if i saved them to my hard drive so i can't find any songs

I downloaded something that was told to me to get to put some of my itunes songs onto my android phone. I think it synced my account, though. Whenever i click on a song an exclamation point comes up and something pops up and says "could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" and i don't remember ever backing up my songs (this computer is fairly new) and now none of my songs come up. I have no idea what to do but ive spent hundreds of dollars on this account purchasing from the itunes store. Please help me!

Tunes works through a database file which has a list of your tracks. When you click on a track it looks up in the database which file it needs to play, then plays the file. If something breaks this link then you get ! The two main ways to get ! are to move a file from where iTunes expects it to be, or to delete it altogether. I don't know which has happened in your case. You can try using Spotlight to find a file for the one referred to in a broken link. If the files have been moved then they need to be moved back. If they were deleted completely you will have to restore them from a backup or download them again from the iTunes Store and rebuild your library.

Do you have a used device, or did you purchase the device new and set it up. If this was a used device, then the iCloud ID that you see is more than likely the original owner and they did not remove it from their account. The only way to activate the device is to make contact with the original owner to have them remove it. If you cannot contact them, then you will not be able to activate the device. There is no way around it and Apple will not assist you in unlocking it or contacting the former owner.

Accounting Document not Cleared using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

I am Using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to post the GL'S , Accounting document is getting created successfully . My Doubt is whether this bapi will clear the Accounting document automatically or we have to use any other function module to clear the Document?

Sales office not available and SHOULD not be used for determination

Hi experts,
I am encounting an issue with the organizational model.
We do not want the sales office to be determined through the org model, we just want to be able to add it to the right sales areas in BPs or transactions.
I have build ang enhanced org model where the sales offices and groups are assigned to more sales areas. I have not marked the determination on the office and groups, since I do not want to determine this automatically and since if I mark this, my pop-ups for the transactional data determination becomes impossible to overview.
However, if I do not mark the determination in the sales offices and groups, they are not availeble in the drop downs for Bps and transactions.
Can someone please advise how to solve this?

     As soon as an EntryProcessor or EntryAggregator get delivered to the server nodes, it will get executed regardless of the requestor's state.
     In regard to long-running operations the only thing you have to be conscious about is a number of worker threads allocated for such a processing. Since there is a single client thread issuing a request, it would suggests allocation as many worker threads (across the cache server tier) as there are client thread (across the presentation/application tier).

Which service accounts should SP2010 use?

I'm getting the "Server farm account should not be used for other services" error for the following services:
80 (Application Pool)
SPUserCodeV4(Windows Service)
OSearch14(Windows Service)
Web Analytics Data Processing Service(Windows Service)
But when I go to the Manage Service Accounts page, the only two account options I see are Local Service and Network Service. Which one should I use?

Please create a domain account from your Active Directory server, then add this AD account as a managed account from SharePoint 2010 Central Administration site->"Configure managed accounts" page, then on the "Configure
service accounts" page, you can select this managed account for your SharePoint service or service application.

P&L acc should not hit retained earnings account upon exe Bal Carry Forwar

Hi Friends,
As per business requirement I created two Depreciation expense accounts, only Book Dep account should hit retained earnings whereas other special dep account should not hit. Since both accounts are P&L they are picking upon executing Balance carry forwad.
Special Dep area is created to depreciate the complete asset in the year of purchase to help the org to allocate it to different Cost centers for funding request. As such these special dep accounts are out of scope for FSV so there is no impact on Bal Sheet,however upon exec FAGLGVTR full dep posted on these accounts are carried forward to next year along with true dep.
Please provide any suggestions that help to avoid some of the PL acc carry forard to retained earnings account. I am thinking of creating separate chart of account for these accounts but this consume lot of time for testing all the scenarios.

Here is the scenario.
APC of all acquisitions are allocated, in the year of acquisition, among several cost centers using statistical key figure (Work hours). To satisfy this requirement, a second depreciation area (Special) will be created. In the second depreciation area, all assets (regardless of asset class) will be depreciated fully in the year (month) of acquisition u2013 (the same depreciation key as low value asset). The value in the second depreciation area will flow to controlling.
This full depreciation is not even consider in financial reporting as the number range of these dep exp accounts are out of range in FSV. The main purpose is to allocate full depreciation among CC in advance for funding request.
