Good tutorial for plugin for oem

I'm looking for a good tutorial for building a plugin (cep actually ..) for oem.
All the docs I found are not very clear to me.
Does anybody know where can I found one?
Or maybe some good examples besides those which comes with the zip file

Looking for a good tutorial or book for 3D composite

Hi, I do editing for 3D animation at work (simple kind) and working along with 2 other 3D modelers.
We recently came down to the conclusion that we need to composite to be able to render our animation.
However, none of us really know how to do 3D composite, including myself.
(I mean we know the simple composite using alpha channels and such... but not to the point to using z-depth or shadow maps... etc..).
I was looking around online and book store to find out if there is any good resources for us to learn. I do not have much luck of it, unfortunately.
I'd like to have our 3D modlers to know how to split to all different layers for a clean composite purpose.... (like for me to use in Shake ). From what I found out, higher end composite, you can split most of the gemoetries its own object IDs, and shadow map/layers, lighting layers... (even they render separetely, it do cast shadow as other objects surrounds it, or refection..) and then composite in one scene.
I believe we create pretty good animation when we rendered them all together in one scene, and now we are up to the point that there are too many geometeries and render farm computers can't handle to render (and they are not lower end compters but they crash when we try to render with not enough memories).
I'm not really looking for having real footage as background and 3D infront .. that kind of composite...
If there is anyone can direct me to a right book? or online website to learn more of this stuff for all of us, I'll be really appriciate it.

Good IDE or plugin for any IDE for Swing

Hi all,
I want to create Swing GUI in my application, but i didn't find good IDE for it.
Some IDE what i tried are not allow to freely drop the component on the frame.
The Layout's(Flow,Border..etc) no one is good . I have used C# in one of my application there the i could able to build the GUI very easily. I can drop any where on the screen without much problem.
I want such a tool the should allow me drop the components freely ...
Always we say JAVA ruling...But not ..we have not (Including SUN) developed such a simple GUI designer for Java..
I really feel bad...

Have fun with the DVD. Sooner or later, my friend's going to want his back at which time I will have to buy my own. Hopefully, the examples he puts forth will help you with your dilemna. EQ may only be one factor in your case. Perhaps, your guitar may be too far forward in the mix and/or may be occupying the same space as the vocals (perhaps, it needs to be spread out a bit). So many things to try, but with patience and perseverance you'll get it.

Looking for Plugins for Powerpoint & Excel files

I am creating my website in iWeb and it's great! I am looking for a way to have users open the powerpoint and excel files within the website, similar to the way these files open in Internet Explorer. I realize that things are different between ie and Safari; however, I would be most grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. When I put a link to a .pps or .xl file on iWeb, clicking on it opens to the location where the website is stored and then the user can click to open the file. I would like to eliminate having them go to the source of the website.
I would be most grateful for any help that anyone could provide with this request.

NetApp plugin for OEM 12c - DB is not on NFS mounted storage. DB Storage Perf Report empty

Hi, I have installed NetApp Plugin for OEM 12c (12.1.0.3.1) for a Netapp vFiler used for SMO. "Database Storage Utilization" and "Consolidation Database Storage Performance" empty. "Database is not on NFS mounted storage. Hence, no views available." - a. We are using ASM lun created on NFS. Does this means it will not appear in the plugin report ? - b. If point a. is true, is there a way to make the data appear ? I had already verified the BELOW. Only for point 4, I observed MGMT$DB_DATAFILES."OS_STORAGE_ENTITY" is NA (even though the ASM disk is actually on a NFS mount) : 1. Database discovery is done in EM12c . 2. Go to the database “HOST” target in EM 12c and click on the host target on which database resides. From host target drop down, click on “Host-> StorageDetails”. It will launch the “Storage Details” page. Please refer attached screenshot. There is a table displayed on bottom of screen and click on “File Systems” tab and check that your discovered database storage mount point is shown there. (Please note that whenever you define new mount point on host, this list should reflect the change.), otherwise, Database Performance views will not work. This mount point discovery is updated periodically. (It might be possible that DB views are not working because this discovery might not have finished) 3. Please click on NetApp Storage Target type and go to “Target HomePage drop down ->All Metrics”. Please click on “Volume List” metric and confirm if the volume is listed there on which database resides. 4. ibook-widgets.com have a free tutorial book in the iBooks store. Search for "Create your first interactive book using iBooks Author" they also sell widgets.
I dont have any connection - I found their eBook in the store long ago and used it to learn more about iBA.
The best advice though, is be patient, go back over the process step by step, I cannot access the Help files for some reason.. but i am sure its in their.

Looking For A Good Tutorial That Shows How To Redirect A Form Page.

Attached is a mock up of the Home Recipes Page on the site I'm building. When a user clicks on one of the categories (Desserts, Drinks, etc), I want them to be able to go to the Main Page for that category, on which will appear the recipes that have already been posted by them or someone else. Also on the Main Page, I want them to be able to click on a button that takes them to a page on which they can enter a recipe. There are four fields on the "Enter Page;" Recipe Title, Ingredients, Preparation, Serves How Many.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial that would help me accomplish what I'm trying to do, and/or answer some of the questions I have?
1. For the page on which they use to post a recipe (in the process of building this one), is that named something like enterDesserts?
2. For the page on which the already posted recipes appear, do I name it something like postedDesserts?
2.a. I know I'll have to create a container div on the "posted" page for each of the four fields on the "enter" page, but how do I direct the
information that's entered into the proper div?

Your best bets for getting something more specific to your needs will either be to...
- search Google using terms like "AS3 XML gallery tutorial" and "AS3 XML slideshow tutorial"
- take one fairly complicated tutorial and learn how it works down to understanding each element of what is being done. Once you a proper level of understanding you should be able to reason out how to create one of your own with whatever different features you prefer

GOOD tutorial for java?

Hi, I am looking for a good tutorial for java. I cant understand my teacher's lectures, because they are always presented as a slide show and she just reads the slides in a monotone voice. (Not to mention her thick asian accent). So any one?

Since you know regexs, the java.util.regex.Pattern class API is probably all you need, it pretty thoroughly documents Java's flavor, and the differences from PERL's flavor.
