Goods picking and Post goods issue in VL02N

Dear All,
Am hving problem in Picking goods and Post goods issue.
This is for the Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping
Supplying plant is 1000(SAP std,sloc 0001) and Receiving plant 1100(sloc 0001).
Sales org:1000
Distrbn Chnnl:10
Division:00
1.maintained matrial for both the plants.
2.Creted STO by using DOC type as "UB" and item cat "U".
3.And getting the Shipping data for the material in the STO.as shipping point is 1000.
saved the Po.
4.After that i done the GR w/o PO for the material using Mvt type 501.
5.Then,VL10B creating Delivery doc.n this is also created.
6.but when i do the picking and PGI in VL02N there picking field is greyed out bt i have tried to mangae that when i give the picking Qty in the picking qty field system is throwing the following error.
Item to be picked by WM (picking quantity cannot be entered)
Message no. VL118
Diagnosis
For this item, picking is carried out using warehouse management transfer orders since the material is stored in a warehouse with random storage.
System Response
The system does not allow you to enter a picking quantity manually. The picking quantity is copied automatically into the delivery during the creation of the corresponding transfer order.
is any data missed by me while doing this process?
pls let me know n help me in this regrds
Thank you all

Hi Vijay
By changing storage location you could do b'coz the new storage location is not maintained with warehouse, hence no need to perform warehouse transactions (TO creation and confirmation) before inventory mgmt transactions (PGI).
For trying pick up with WH, first u should have enough stocks in approppriate storage bins and u should perform pick up by creation of TO and confirmation.

• Goods receipt and post goods issue are not updated back from EWM to ECC

Hi Experts,
Would anybody able to tell me the setting to be modified / defined to backward flow of information from EWM to ERP i.e. the goods receipt, goods issue are not being updated back in ECC once the goods receipt and post goods issue are posted in EWM?
It would be great help if i get the response as early as possible.
Chakrapani Das

Hi Chakrapani,
You might want to try checking the customization on the SCM part following this path:
SPRO - Extended Warehouse Management - Interfaces - ERP Integration - General Settings
Pay special attention on the Check of ERP-EWM Configuration transaction.
After you have checked these you should probably check the outbound queue monitor (tx SMQ1) from EWM to ERP. You can use the SMQ1 - Outbound queue and SMQ2 - Inbound Queue both in ERP and SCM to check the communication betweene these two systems.
Also you may want to checkt the SLG1 - Analyse application Log in SCM in order to see if any internal bugs exist.
All the best,

• Running VL06IF in Background and Posting Goods Receipts

Hi All,
We need to be able to run VL06IF (WS_MONITOR_INB_DEL_FREE) in background mode and post goods receipts for the Inbound Deliveries selected based on our variant selection criteria.
Wondering if anyone is aware of a program that can select the inbound deliveries and post the goods receipts as part of the one process - which can be run in background mode, with the ability to accept a variant.
We are on: R/3 4.6C
All help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ravelle

VL06IF is list of Inbound deliveries.
To achieve what you want you should go to VL06I and select Goods Receipt.
Once you are there, you will see you are running program WS_MONITOR_INB_DEL_GDRC. There you can select a variant and run in Background.
Once the job is scheduled, the program WS_MONITOR_INB_DEL_GDRC is executed.
It should do it.

• Pick and Pack Speed Issues

Currenly we upgraded from PL14 to PL29 in which we have see a great speed in most functions.
We have a separate location that connects to the database with a T1 GB connection. They have had a few issues with connection.
The customer service department runs the Pick and Pack Manager every day to see what is open based on specifc items.
Prior to the update it took 10-25 seconds to run the query, now after the update it takes 2-4 minutes to run.
Has anyone experienced this issue and is there an known fix?
Thanks,
Craig

Dear
We have some known issue about pick and pack. don't know if they are relevant. here are the notes regarding pick and pack performance issue. some of them are still under processing and not released to customer.
NOTE 1160665 - Performance problem when opening Pick and Pack manager
*Symptom of this issue: *
You open the Pick and Pack Manager window (Inventory -> Pick and Pack ->
Pick and Pack Manager) and you run it according to certain selection
criteria.
It may take the window a long time to open even when the number of
relevant documents for the chosen criteria is relatively small.
You may check July Patch of 2005 SP1 to see if the note is included and issue is fixed.

• SAP Standard Report for Good Reciept and Open Goods Reciept .

Dear All Guru's ,
Is there any std. report in which User can see the Actual Goods rcpt and also Open Goods Reciept in that report , What I know that we can see the Goods Rciept thru Trxn = MB51 , but here Open good rcpt
is not possible.
Can any one help to fix this requirement.
Rgds,
sap11

Hi
try MB5S to get an overview of all goods receipts not invoiced.
I would change the standard variant to also add material not only PO.
If you want deliveries not invoiced and you have goods received based IV on you can get an overview per vendor with report from F4 in MIRO (I just learnd recently from here that this is the only suitable report available)

• GR document and posting date issue for initial stock upload are overidden

Hi all
Loading initial stock into the system using standard idoc message type MBGMCR and basic type MBGMCR02.
We are trying to post the intial stock upload with posting and document dates in past with this idoc. The Idoc is accepted with these dates but while posting the system is overiding these dates and posting the document with system date. Any clue as to what is happening?
Regards,

Hi Jurgen
I am aware about the posting being possible till the last period.
But the system over-riding the posting and document dates in the IDoc even if I chose previos day's date in the current period. The dates in the IDoc are correct to be in the past. The IDoc is accepted by the system with the document and posting dates in the past.
But dates in the document after posting are system dates. Very unsual. Please let me know the reasons.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi,
Here you can use 653 instead of 651.When you use 653 system will post the stock directly to the unrestricted stock and an accounting document is generated with this movement type.

• 990FXA-GD80 sleep and post-sleep issues

Hi,
I've recently upgraded to an MSI 990FXA-GD80 motherboard paired with an AMD 8320 Black Edition CPU. My previous set-up was with an MSI 790FX-GD70 and AMD Phenom II X4 955 BlackEdition. I also put in a new PSU (see below).
Full spec
Board: MSI 990FXA-GD80
Bios: Version 13.1
VGA: Asus DirectCU II TOP Radeon HD 7970
PSU: Seasonic X-Series 650W (54A 12V rail)
CPU: AMD FX 8320 Black Edition 8 Core Processor Socket AM3+
MEM: 8GB Mushkin DDR3 PC3-12800 Redline Ridgeback (7-9-8-24) Dual Channel kit (2x4GB)
Boot HDD: Corsair P128 128GB 2.5" SATA-II SSD
Storage HDD: 1TB Samsung HD103UJ Spinpoint F1
COOLER: Noctua NH-C12P
OC: None
OS: Windows 7 64bit Home
Rather than do a complete reinstall, I simply removed all of the old drivers that I could, replaced the hardware, and let windows do its thing with the updates. Then ran LiveUpdate and cleaned up any further remnant drivers I could find. Everything seemed to work fine.
The RAM is running at auto frequency, timings and voltage - I know this is under its rated values, but I wanted to make sure everything was in good shape before mucking about with OC settings.
I'm having a few minor issues though.
When the board goes in to sleep mode after being left alone for a while, it can only be woken by hitting the power switch. After a search of these forums, I see that can be altered in the BIOS - no problem.
Once the board wakes from sleep, however, performance is extemely sluggish. Load times for games more than double, and frame rates drop to about 30-40% of where they were before.
Rebooting fixes this, but I really shouldn't have to be doing that every time the board goes to sleep.
Would updating the BIOS help with these issues (I've read a few negative comments about v 13.1)? If so, which version?
Are there some power management, or other settings, in the BIOS that are causing the RAM or CPU to only partially wake up?
How can I stop the motherboard going in to sleep mode at all? I'm pretty sure I found a BIOS setting to do this on my last board, but am missing it on this one.
Any ideas?
Thanks (in advance).

Yea..I've seen a lot of odd stuff. I don't blame MSI, I think it's a combination of the newer UEFI BIOS, all the green power stuff, and BIOS changes to make Windows 8 compatible. Every motherboard seems to have it's quirks these days.
You are basically doing what I do now. My computer is set to never sleep, and monitors off in 15. I normally turn my computer off manually when I'm done with it, unless I'm downloading from Steam or something...then I want it to keep running. So this "work around" has me happy.
I hear you on the clean install. It's such a pain in the butt getting all my software back in order. I literally spend a week just getting all my games downloaded from Steam, lol. I'm riding the AM3 platform until I absolutely no longer can.
The good news, our CPUs, while never being as fast as their Intel counterparts clock for clock will get faster over time as the software industry get's more and more in line with multi-core programs. Just keep feeding them new vidoe cards.

• MSI H81M-E33 BIOS Issues and Post Flash Issues

Hello,
My situation is as follows: (TL:DR at bottom)
Built a new computer and decided to use the new LGA 1150 refreshed CPUs. Bought the MSI H81M-E33 Motherboard and installed windows. Noticed a problem with the rebooting even when installing windows. Thought it was just because of the windows installation, but problem persisted in which the computer seems to shut down but doesn't power down and i have to manually hold power button to power down and then push it again to start up. No real issues it seems since the computer does close processes and shut down but this was irritating me. I read online that BIOS updates seem to fix this problem. Did some research and decided to update with M-Flash to bios v6.6.
As I used M-flash to update to BIOS (selected "Select one file to update BIOS and ME") v6.6 the update stops at 47% and then the computer attempts to restart. BUT it still has the same problem and does not power down. So I manually powered down and started it back up. I then got "no signal" even as I waited. Now I'm freaking out and I power it down again and try again. This time I wait and it get to BIOS (MSI Screen) and then no signal again (not booting windows). Again I hold power down and power back on. Long wait again and I get back to bios. Still freaked out at this point but relieved I didn't brick motherboard.
Decide to flash v6.5 in case 6.6 was too new and might some problems. However v6.5 has the same problems; bios update stops at 47%, computer attempts to reboot, can't reboot, I power off, power on, no signal, power off, power on, wait a while and it gets to BIOS (MSI Screen), then boots to windows.
Right now the bios does read the bios version as v6.5 but I still have the issues in restarting where that doesn't really work. In addition, I now have this wait from pushing the power button to when I see BIOS (MSI Screen).
TL:DR
Had reboot problems decided to update BIOS
Used M-flash ("Select one file to update BIOS and ME") to update to v6.6
Update stopped at 47%, computer attempted to reboot, got no signal (reboot problem), powered off, powered on, waited a long time nothing, freaked out, powered off, powered on, waited a while got to bios (Whew), checked for new version (it is).
Decided v6.6 might be too new decided to try v6.5 used M-Flash again
Again stopped at 47%, computer attempted to reboot, got no signal (reboot problem), powered off, powered on, waited a long time, nothing, powered off powered on, waited a while got to bios, checked bios for new version (it is), save and exit, no signal, power off, power on, waited a while got to bios, then booted into windows
My concerns are;
I seem to still have reboot issue.
I have to wait for BIOS now, no longer pretty quick start.
My questions are;
Did I mess up the flashing somewhere?
Was stopping at 47% normal?
Should I try to update the BIOS another method to fix my current problems?
Am I missing a step somewhere?
Any help is appreciated, I just got really freaked out by the whole process but I'm just glad the computer still works (kinda).
Thanks in advance for any help, and apologies on the long essay just wanted to be as specific as possible.

Intel i5-4590

PNY Optima Series 240GB
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
LG 12x BD-Rom
Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000

MFlash reboots in the process. To be sure reupdate using the below instructions and archive for a proper fpt flash. If you used Win8 feature (fastboot) before the first update be aware taht you need to set anything again after an update (e.g. enabling safeboot) as everything is set to default.
>>Use the MSI HQ Forum USB flasher<<
A.) Download the attached archive (E7817IMS_660.rar.rar) and place it on your desktop. Do not decompress.
B.) Download and install the Forum flash tool.
C.) Insert your FAT32 formatted usb stick.
D.) Make sure that all win 8 options are disabled. (Fast Boot etc) Also make sure the legacy USB is enabled.
E.) Start the forum flash tool and select option 1. Then point the tool at the compressed archive we downloaded earlier. Then to your USB Flash Drive.
F.) Boot to the USB
G.) Now follow the directions and let the tool flash
H.) After flashing reinstall ME drivers in Windows: http://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/intel_amt90_mb.zip
